Excellent as always. Food, staff and service were 1st class.

It was not quite as good as previous visits, sadly.

Lovely venue, staff and meal, very well looked after from start to finish. Great location on the river front, not over faced by the menu, and very well cooked and presented, will definitely visit again when next in the area.

Lovely atmosphere for Christmas. Nice menu and good value for money. Will be back!

Brilliant food, little on the expensive side, but if ever in Inverness, great place to eat and a great wine selection

It's so good to be welcomed personally on arriving at the restaurant. two course lunch was delicious as was the wine. service was excellent, as always.

A fantastic , and very enjoyable, visit in the Christmas/New Year period - great not to have to worry about cleaning the dishes(!!) but even better was the excellent food on offer, polite and attentive staff. An all-round excellent dining experience!

We are so sorry to say this as we do enjoy the feel of the space however: Limited menu for vegetarian and what there was, was poorly executed.....dry, overcooked.... Passing dirty stuff on the way upstairs Dirty bathrooms.....sadly not for us again

Staff were welcoming, but very busy, service was quick to the point of rapid, food wasn't as described, I will say tasty enough, but not as expected, ( salmon bruschetta was on baguette, as was the garlic flat bread)

Restaurant was warm and welcoming. Shown to our table and were served bread etc. Starters arrived promptly and were delicious. Unfortunately, our main course was delayed and wasn't received for a further 45 minutes. It was hot and very good but the enjoyment was taken away by the delay. We were not offered a refund or any redress. We paid the whole amount but the visit was spoiled. The waiting staff apologised but it wasn't their fault. No one in management bothered to speak to us or offer an explanation. Poor customer experience that could and should have been better.

I had soup for starters, chicken for main and cheese/biscuits to finish. Food was excellent and good value for money. Alcohol is a bit expensive as Thistly cross cider at £7.10 is rather expensive!

Lovely venue Overall food excellent except the desserts! My wife had the apple pie which was cold stodgy and unedible , I had the panna cotta… average at best.

Everything was of a superb standard. I have been before but my friend had not - and was blown away by the restaurant, food and staff. Well done everyone.

Got taken to our seats promptly on arrival ,waitress came with water /bread took our orders ,food was lovely although there were no roast potatoes left which was disappointing but they gave us 2 free coffees to make up for it ,so very happy .

The food was a bit disappointing. More of a bacon dinner than a turkey dinner. Sprouts were wet as happens when from frozen.

Food and service was great. The only down side was a noisy Christmas party of around 20 nearby but we were quite tolerant of that at this time of year!
