We had to wait for 20 minutes for a pre-booked table to be ready.

Amazing food as always with fantastic staff on hand for your every need..

Surprisingly quiet in the restaurant for a December evening, and there wasn’t much atmosphere. We had a nice time as a group, and the menu was good, including a couple of GF and vegetarian options. However these were nothing special, and a livelier staff would also have been welcome.

This is the second time dining in the Mustard Seed . Absolutely faultless. Thanks Peter.

Lovely meal only let down for us was the cheap crackers all we got was a joke and hat.

Great atmosphere. Busy and buzzy. Bistro food. Scottish cheeses yum.

We had a lovely evening! The steaks were excellent though they couldn't do the garlic crushed potatoes with them, and mash didnt quite work! The vegetables were overcooked. The bar couldn't provide the Whisky Sour which my husband loves. The place was buzzing on a Monday night, the service was excellent, waitresses were delightful and the meal was value for money. We would highly recommend

Wrong starters, very average meal all round. Had just as nice meal in out hotel. Disappointed

Seated 10 minutes early which was nice. Service from taking drinks order was extremely slow though. Had to ask twice for condiments and dessert. The set christmas menu was nice but not enough sauce for the prawns, had to ask for more. The main turkey was a very small portion. Drinks were slow at coming. Overall nice food, they just need to get timing a bit better and be more attentive to customers.

We had a wonderful dinner at The Mustard Seed while visiting with family in Inverness and would heartily recommend this restaurant. Staff were very attentive and professional. The menu had plenty choice for everyone, the portions were plentiful and the food cooked to perfection. Hopefully, it won't be too long before we get the chance to visit again.

The staff were very attentive and the food was beautifully cooked and presented . Excellent value for lunch.

We had a booking for 1 oclock and arrived a wee bit early. It was no problem, we were seated and had placed our order in no time at all. The staff were fantastic, we had 3 that attended our table and each one was super polite and efficient. Our food was delish, got a doggy bag cos it was too much but too tasty to leave. It is a very well oiled machine, top notch food and service.

Excellent food and a really nice dining experience. Great atmosphere which is enhanced by very polite and attentive staff. Opted for the 3 course Christmas dinner and was not disappointed. Good portion sizes at a very competitive and impressive price. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for a great dining experience on my wife’s birthday.

We’ve been lunching at The Mustard Seed over a number of years and the high standard of the dishes has remained the same.

Excellent starter but bland and tasteless risotto- very disappointing. Coffee served cold but replaced when requested. Not nearly as good as I remembered.

We had 2 recommendations to go to this restaurant and the service was good, the foid delicioys, i had syeak that was cooked rare as requested it cut really well and melted in my mouth. Big thumbs up.

Food was cold returned food, they made anew order, then waited nearly an hour for desert after asking waiter a couple of times, waiter saying he be in a couple of minutes then gave up

Excellent venue and first class service throughout. Steak and Sea Bass were both well cooked and presented. Only Gripe is that the soup could have been hotter. A pleasurable experience

One small issue. The glasses and cutlery were very poorly presented. The glasses in particular were covered in fingerprints and did not look clean at all. I observed another table asking for clean also. Most unlike the Mustard Seed, potentially an issue with the dishwasher? Certainly not the attention to detail I'd expect as a customer of the restaurant.

The food was mostly nice, but the service really let the experience down. Our waiter disappeared, leaving us with a dirty table. We waited to order desserts, but no one came, so we decided to leave.

Lovely meal but waited over 45 mins for my main course which the kitchen said they over looked our order.
