First time visiting- lovely carvery with plenty of choice, friendly and efficient staff, welcoming atmosphere, would definitely dine here again.

Been going there for years and I think it cannot be beaten for value and quality always well satisfied and the staff are lovely, love the place ❤️

Visited this lunchtime . We waited over 3 months since booking our lunch was meant to be a poignant anniversary for us however it was very disappointing. We all chose the carvery aswe had couple of ok meals before however the carvery choice was not great - gammon, beef and there was a really small piece of turkey dried up considering it was 12.30 and not end of afternoon. We asked if there was another turkey that was fresh. The kitchen staff member said yes but I have to use this up first?! I said surely you can get the other he said no he has to use it up. We were really disappointed as we were looking forward to the turkey. We had to plump for the beef as we dont eat gammon. My mom isn't really a red meat eater so it was none starter ..... Other than ap!ate of veg for which there was a good selection ! The beef was nice but even the couple next to us leftmost of their dinner sotheymust have preferred the turkey too! The tables started to fill up but it was a shame they put everyone in our corner and not too much opportunity to have good conversation and lots of empty tables other end. We tried to atleast have a pudding to make up which was lovely. The waitress came over after my father went to bar to ask if someone could take our sweet order the waitress was the manager and asked the obligatory how was it question to which we replied no it was disappointing. She agreed that we should have been offered the turkey and assured us that shouldn't have happened. Felt assured she would take our comments on board as a good will she waivered our deserts from the bill. Such a shame as what was meant to be a memorable lunch was memorable to not to visit for a while - such a shame.

Food was good but table service was very, very slow.

We normally have the carvery which is excellent, however on this occasion we opted for fish and chips. Unfortunately the battered fish was significantly over cooked and dry - this was expressed to the staff politely, but we were offered no reduction/recompense on our bill.

It’s been a while, but enjoyed an excellent meal in a safe environment, great service and staff.

First time back since August 2019 and really enjoyed the carvery. Have really missed eating here and will be back again soon .

Good food as usual but the convid rules were not always followed by the staff. I felt that too many were allowed up to the carvery, at one point the queue was actually blocking access to the toilets. When drinks were bought to the table the member of staff handed them to us instead of us picking them of the tray directly to cut down on handling the glasses. Overall a poor night.

I visit the Nailers regularly - this time however, the food was not very warm - the quality was as usual superb but just not hot enough.

Carvery and cherry crumble very good. Friendly and helpful waiters.

The young girl who first showed us to our table was very rude and unhelpful. The second young girl was much better. The food was good but they have put the prices up. Maybe wasn’t as good value for money as previous. Wouldn’t be rushing back

The staff are so friendly, polite and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. The quality of food was fantastic, a good selection of meat and vegetables from the carvery which is what I had. A dessert that was to die for afterwards. Will be going back again soon as we loved it so much 5* from us

Great evening at the Nailers food was great and service was exceptional. Just one minor issue was the noisy table of six elderly people trying to outdo one another by shouting as opposed to talking !!

Wasn’t too bad, but had better experience previous times. Food was room temperature, not boiling hot, not much choice with vegetables (vegetarian).
