The Pack Restaurant & Bar

We love this restaurant. Apart from waiting a long time to give our order it was brilliant. Lovely staff, lovely food, brilliant busy atmosphere. I would recommend any day of the week :) x

Shared an excellent garlic bread with mozzarella followed by a mixture of pizza, risotto, tagliatelle and pollo a la creme. All very good indeed. Looking forward to our next visit.

We have been to The Pack a few times now and have loved it every time! Plenty of parking, great service and even better food!

We experienced some brilliant service, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. And the food was lovely and great quality, would definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely welcome and service throughout the meal. Plenty of options; starters and mains both full of flavour. It was a really nice setting, will definitely return!

The food was fantastic - very fresh and very tasty. The restaurant itself had a really nice cosy feel to it and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The staff were really friendly and we would definitely go back to The Pack again! The only thing I would say is a negative, is that we were asked if we wanted to see the coffee and dessert menu - to which we said yes. But we didn't receive the menus for another 15 minutes. The waitress apologised and to be fair the restaurant was very busy. But then when we'd finished our desserts, again our plates were left there for about 20 minutes. We ended up paying the bill at the bar. I'm still giving top marks though because the food was so good.

Great food and a great atmosphere, kids eat for £1 between 5-6pm which is great. Very nice clean decor and it’s very family friendly. We will be returning soon!

Went here for my partner's birthday. Lovely place,nice surroundings. Staff were brilliant and welcoming. For starters we had garlic mushrooms and garlic bread with mozzarella, fantastic!!! For mains i had veal in a wine,cream and mushroom sauce ,to die for. My partner had chicken in a pepper sauce, she said it was fantastic. We will be going again, 10 out of 10.

Food was lovely, service was not great had to wait 15 minutes for our drink. We had finished our food by the time we had got them. Wouldn't have ordered if we had known it would take so long.

Our first visit and we were impressed. Good food, great menu choice, lovely attentive staff. Like the decor and ambience. We will be returning :-)

The service was excellent, we ordered our food and within ten minuets it was at our table and it was delicious the cocktails are too die for will definitely be returning.

Service and food was good. Wish the room was better soundproofed as very noisy which detracted from the whole experience. Would go back but request one of the other rooms!

They have a good menu with plenty of choices, also a good special menu. The food is good and they also have a great gin menu. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated. Would recommend.

Very nice, clean restaurant. lovely food! only downside was it was very busy so service around this time was slower than earlier on. We will eat at the The Pack again!

The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the variety of gins on offer. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back for another visit.

Bad!! We waited some 45 mins & was informed they were running some 15 behind time -Eventually we got our starter & garlic bread together 45 mins later !! We a won't be going back the staff couldn't cope but tried being pleasant food just about ok but had a poor night better we stayed at home & made our own steak & chips & video!! Now that would be nice & save £75 !!!!

First impression on entering the Pac restaurant was the delicious smell of food being cooked.We were greeted by the barman who was very friendly and helpful with supplying us with drinks.We both had three courses of food and all of them tasted delicious and the helpings were plentiful.All the staff that attended to us were very friendly and helpful.This is the first time we have visited the Pac since it has been renovated and i personally think they have done an excellent job in modernizing the whole interior whilst still keeping the "cozy feel"of the restaurant.

Very Good, food really tasty, well prepared and excellent waitress service. Nice relaxed environment. First visit since they changed from the old Pack Horse. And I must say the changes are very welcoming. ice to see that they have kept the old slab flooring. Brilliant Thank you very a very pleasant evening. Will be visiting again.

Me and my husband went for our first wedding anniversary. Staff can't do enough for you. We had a lovely three courses and for our pudding we had a sparkler in our cheesecake! Made all the difference thank you

Really nice place, good staff. Large selection on the menu, a set menu if you're on a budget. Would definitely recommend for the right occasion.

The food was excellent and the service very good and professional, the only down side was the music, 80s music is not convivial to a relaxing dinner, some smooth jazz would have been more suitable, also we were sat next to a family with children who were running around which made conversation difficult, perhaps a separate space for those who do not want to be near people who cant control there children would be more appropriate or maybe no children after a certain time, but on the whole the experience was very good.

Great atmosphere, with friendly yet professional staff who were most accommodating to our every need. Love the refurb that has been done. Great food, well cooked with fabulous flavours & good presentation. We had a really lovely evening - than you guys!

Really friendly staff, beautifully refurnished in a contemporary style. Quite an extensive menu with very generous portions of delicious food! Would happily recommend to others & would happily visit again!

Food and service was good. Price was to be expected. Decor is nice. Plenty of parking. My wifes only complaint was the ladies toilets being upstairs.

This restaurant serves excellent food. The menu is varied and the service is good. It was a busy Friday night when we went. The pace of our meal was relaxed, we were given good time in between courses to chat and digest before the next course came along. Would recommend.

Lovely food, great service and a quick turnaround for a very reasonable price. A decent selection of beers, too. Slightly warm where we were sat but it was a hot day! Like The Terminator, I'll be back.

Normally love this place but just slipped a little this evening, generally the food seemed a little overcooked, and the dessert menu wasn't as good as previous visits. Probably just a blip and look forward to trying again sometime soon

Recommended to us by a friend we weren't disappointed.. very nice restaurant and attentive staff, the food was excellent. Reasonable prices for good Italian food we chose from the specials and both of us enjoyed it. The house wine was very good and we will definately go again soon. If you like contemporary surroundings and a good meal you won't be disappointed either. Watch out leaving the car park as the main road outside is notorious for speeding.
