Excellent place ,we had party of 8 everybody was satisfied,staff very good and we love the atmosphere,try the steak with garlic mushrooms for starters excellent.

Excellent food friendly and helpful staff £13.95 midweek special for three courses,child friendly would highly recommend .LArge choice of food including both pasta and meat dishes for the mains

very good will be back food good service good price was right so you cannot ask for more it is all you expect from a good restaurant

Authentic Italian Food with excellent service and lovely wine. Overall couldn't be more impressed with the restaurant and would recommend to anyone wanting a fantastic evening out.

Lovely food, lovely little dining room, you do very much feel like you're in someone's home though with the way the staff are and present themselves - which isn't always a good thing. My partner had the Lasagne which had too much pasta for his taste, but in all fairness didn't mention that to the server at the time. Highly recommend the cheesy garlic bread and profiteroles!

The Service was excellant but food was average ,garlic mushrooms were cold and the pizza was ok . We won't be rushing back. We tried the Packhorse because of good reviews on Trip advisor maybe we have a different taste.

Very pleasant. You could do a lot worse than visit the Pack. The pizzas are highly recommended and the staff and ambience are very relaxed. We will be back!

Great food prompt and friendly service. Would definitely recommend to anyone. The only down side and purely personal preference would have preferred a table away from the kitchen which im sure would have been offered if there had been one free so busy,

The food and service at The Pack are so good, I don't know why we ever eat anywhere else. We come regularly and have never had a disappointing meal. The specials menu changes often and offers some interesting and exciting dishes. Absolutely excellent.

Enjoyable meal ,The garlic bread with chilli and tomatoes was excellent as was the pasta dishes we had.Our dining experience was spoiled by the temperature of the restaurant as it was cold ,diners was eating with their coats on,however the restaurant does not open until 5.30pm and we had booked for 6.30 pm so maybe it was that the restaurant hadn't had time to warm up.So it might be a good idea in the winter months to dine a little later.

The quality of the food was very good unfortunately the service was disappointing. When you get your potatoes as you are finishing your meal. what more is there to say.

Food was excellent as always. However on this occasion, the service was very slow. Waited a long time for or order to be taken and had to keep asking to be served with drinks.

Walked in, were seated straight away. Service was prompt. Food was excellent - chicken liver & black pudding stack for starters was delicious. We had a really enjoyable meal.

Always welcoming great food reasonable prices what more could you ask for, thought the snow would stop our visit to them but t was fine so call them if the weathers bad as may not be as bad there, will be back very soon

The food & service spot on as usual. One of my favorite places to eat. Went for a late Christmas /boss' birthday. wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Great food, service also good, bit close to the kitchen area and other tables pretty close too. All in all not a bad night. Felt the tables were a little small to handle the size of plates though was squashed at the table and there were only 3 of us.

Visited on friday 18 december , had been before . Went for a birthday meal, nice srroundings, very nice staff, Lovely meal, generous portions. Will definitely go again.

Brilliant restaurant fabulous food great service from the moment you arrive. Prosecco on draught and their own Gin Club what more can you ask for. Definitely going back.

Had a really nice time. Food and atmosphere were great. Menu offers a large and varied choice. The wine is very expensive however, which was the only negative point.

Starters were very nice, service was ok but a little slow at times (this i think was due to a large party). Dissappointed with the pizza to be honest, not the usual thin crispy base you expect from an italian, it was over done with the flour. Also it was very greasy. Would go again just wouldn't recommend having a pizza for your main

Once again the Pack was excellent. We shared a starter off the specials, salt and pepper wings and ribs which were out of this world along with the patatas bravas. For our main again off the specials we had the spicy pizza and from the main menu the carbonara 👌🏻

we took a five month old baby with us the staff were helpful and we enjoyed the evening with good food and will book again this was our first visit my family will go again

We sat straight at table before ordering a drink then I had to get up and ask a waiter to come over to order one some 10 minutes later.. Service wasn't great tbh.. Ordered another drink whilst eating our meal and they had forgotten about it.. When main meal arrived I said excuse me to the manager as he was busy talking to another couple, he said won't be a minute..so we waited until he came over to ask for black pepper and Parmesan cheese.. This should have been done without asking.. Service wasn't good ..food was ok though..

It was the first time we have been to The Pac since it was refurbished. The staff made us welcome when we arrived. The service was first class and the food was excellent. The bill was reasonable. We will definitely go to The Pack again.

We really enjoyed our visit to the pack. Went for a late birthday meal with a friend. The staff were very friendly. The food was very good and there was a good choice. Will be back.

Excellent food & fabulous atmosphere, and really nice polite guy serving at the bar :) very friendly and welcoming. we had a great night, and will return again very shortly.

Can't recommend this place enough, one of the best Italians around the food is excellent and you can see it being cooked while you wait! The prices are very reasonable too for what you get, and the staff are very pleasant and welcoming. Definitely would rank this as one of my favourite places to eat!
