The food was excellent & all the staff were very attentive my only complaint was that we were sat at the high tables & the stools were not very comfortable, we will definitely visit again but will ask to sit somewhere different.

We are parents of a toddler and this was one of our rare nights out. It was lovely, the food was great and it looks amazing. The work they've done in refurbishing it is fantastic. It just seemed a little disorganised. We had a reservation but we weren't seated until well after that point and it was 45 mins after our reservation time that our order was taken. There were two big parties which may have throw service a little but there was also something lacking. The team seemed distracted, the service was ok but not outstanding and there were times when we seemed to have been forgotten. That said, they resolved a problem swiftly and with minimal fuss. We will be back, although perhaps not on a Saturday night.

Dined at The Pack this evening early table 5:30 pm , first time we have been . Good choice of cocktails at the bar which was a pleasant surprise. Food was excellent , service was extremely slow but to be fair this could be a one off as there was a big party of 20+ people dining. Staff were pleasant but lacking in experience. Would we go back ... yes as the food was excellent.

Fantastic food and service, great atmosphere and decor...we enjoyed a superb Italian meal...highly recommended restaurant - we will definitely be back soon with friends and family!

Highly recommend the pack .The food &service very good . The newly renovated restaurant has been done to a high standard looks amazing . The only negative tonight was I feel that the lightening in the large room was very bright personally think a bit more subdued lighting would be better .

Nice atmosphere and service very quick, with enjoyable people. However the place is a little bit too crowded/small and the temperature is too hot in my opinion. It might only be me but the wall with all the leds make it hard to look at. Regarding the food, the quantity and quality were there.

Had a great night food lovely and staff were very attentive. The new extension has been done very well. will be going back soon. Will recommend to friends and family.

Lovely food and very friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us despite it being busy. As it did become very busy when we were waiting for the bill, we ended up going to the bar to ask for our bill but it definitely didn't ruin the night. Thank you

The Pack is a truly 1st Class Restaurant.My wife and i celebrated my 64th birthday and could not have picked anywhere better.All the dishes we had were of a great quality,from a menu of great variety.We would not hesitate to recommend this dining experience to anyone.Superb service from all members of staff made our visit very very enjoyable.We can not wait to return in the very near future.*****

Our first time at the Pack since they closed for renovation. Excellent service, lovely food, in beautiful surroundings. Reasonably priced too. We will definitely be back soon.

Positive Food really nice lovely restaurant for the negatives would be better if there was a separate room for family with small children not everyone wants to be around family's with children who scream and shout and expect everyone to put up with especially if you want a quiet meal out.

Tasty, delightful fresh food which was cooked to our liking. Monk fish special was fresh and tasty...reminded me of my summer holiday in Italy. Service was superb too. Definitely return soon.

The service is very good, attentive without being overbearing. I do not like the phrase "to die for" but I have to say I thought that the food was sublime. The Pack is one of the few restaurants that actively offer a "doggie bag" without having to ask, which I think is a good thing. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

Staff went out of their way to help us when we were having problems with our son who has numerous disabilities. We thought we would have to leave, but thanks to everyone especially the manager we managed to stay and eat out meal even in troubling circumstances.

Food was lovely and the place was very clean and and busy.i will definitely come again and recommend it to my friends. Had to wait a little while for our table but it was well worth the wait.

We have always loved coming to The Pack for its great food and friendly staff. Now it has been fully renovated it's even better. Its bright, cheery and modern surroundings, coupled with the above, make it an ideal venue for a great night out. Kath Stewart

Love this restaurant but was disappointed after last nights visit. After being seated in the far corner it took 20 minutes to be asked if we wanted any drinks, and a further 10 for food. A table came in 15 minutes after us and had received a starter and the main before we had seen any food on our table. Then asked for no tomatoes on any main meal and it came on all, also when finally served main course (steak) 3 of us were sat with no knife to eat it with until we could flag someone down. Will come again as it's a great restaurant but in the hope it was just a one off

Lovely meal on Easter Sunday at lunchtime. Easy parking, Eager, helpful staff and an interesting menu that lived up to promises made. Clean, relaxed dining room with a buzz.

Absolutely gorgeous surroundings, beautiful food, friendly and efficient staff. Very reasonably priced. Can't fault anything about this place love it. Kids menu amazing value for money.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, overall a lovely evening. Staff were very obliging. Having been to the restaurant on several occasions before the refurbishment, which is fantastic may I add. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Pack.

Friendly staff, lovely smart new surroundings, food was excellent. Tried the King Prawn starter and the garlic mushrooms with a cheesy garlic bread followed by the Rib Eye steak with trimmings and King Prawn Portofino. Tried a nice Italian Lager and the Zinfandel wine. We were too full for dessert so we ll be back very soon to try something else and leaving room for a dessert. Definetly worth a try ,may be better to book, place was full on a Thursday night

The venue has been completely updated, it's modern warm friendly and the food is even better than it was and the prices are very similar

A very nice refurbishment and the food and service was excellent. Drinks are quite expensive but this is typical of most restaurants. We will definitely be returning soon.

Had a lovely meal at the pack my starter of garlic mushrooms was gorgeous , and my main of stroganoff was lovely can't fault the food the staff are friendly and helpful, I'll certainly go back. Not to mention their variety of gins.

Amazing meal and friendly staff only not a six as the mussels were very small! Tasty though! The fun was very nice and the atmosphere good.

Service became a little slow at the dessert stage. I think a large party had arrived and was taking up the staff's focus but excellent food and good atmosphere. Very beautifully refurbished restaurant and a varied and interesting menu. Would recommend to friends and family!

Lovely enviroment, lovely staff topped of by superb food. Had a nice bottle of red too that went down a treat. Highly recommend. Perfect lunchdate with hubby. Will definitely take our 3 boys next time.
