The Queens

Really lovely food, however we had to wait for over an hour before our starters arrived and over half an hour before the main arrived. We left without dessert as we couldn’t face waiting another long wait given it was getting late into the evening. It is such a shame because the food once it arrived was delightful but the wait on service was way too long, definitely off putting and we probably won’t come back because of this. They did however take a couple of drinks off our bill as a good will gesture which was nice of them, but I wish I would have trusted the reviews I read prior to booking at this restaurant regarding customers having to wait for substantial amounts of time to be served.

The food was pretty good although the pepper sauce was too salty but all good value. The experience was let down by the waiting staff who had to find out what the soup of the day was and generally a bit slapdash. Also no decaf coffee!

The place was virtually empty and the wait for the food was unacceptable. My friend had to go to the bar an hour after starters were ordered to ask where they were! Then there was another long wait for the main course. We didn't bother with dessert after the waitress told us they didn't have any 'plums' for the dessert that should have had peaches!! Awful. We won't be going again.

Very friendly service and great food in lovely surroundings. I had a fillet Burger which was prob the best Burger ever. Daughter had scampi and cleared the plate. Will return in the future for sure.

Fantastic meal. A nice selection of food to choose from. Staff are very friendly. One of the best places to eat in Belbroughton. Will definitely be going back.

Out standing Sunday lunch as always. The queens never disappoints

We had a very nice family Sunday dinner. Food was very good and we were not rushed out even though we were the last to leave. Table was in a strange position half way into the ingolknok fireplace.

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch. We mostly dine on a Sunday and I can honestly say that the Queens was the best by far. Food was piping hot although restaurant was full, dessert lovely too and of course wine superb. Can highly recommend

Good food for a pre-Christmas meet up with friends. Quite quiet so not much of an atmosphere but service was fast and chance for a chat. Would go again.

Never had a disappointing meal here. Food is excellent and good value for money. Nice atmosphere. Good service. Fairly priced wine menu. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

First rate gastro pub. From a mix of contemporary & modern decor,to classic pub food, through to wonderful high quality dining, this is a super place to eat.

Excellent hosts. Beautifully decorated. Food was excellent and well presented. There was plenty of choice. Will definitely go back and will recommend it to friends and family.

Food was very good overall. Service perfectly acceptable. Restaurant was however quiet and lacked atmosphere. Overall a decent place to dine and would recommend, although there is stiff competition in and around Belbroughton.

Good food. Service was a little slow. Complained about the taste of a lager I ordered one member of staff could not understand why I complained eventually they changed the drink but that didn’t taste much bette. I left most of it.

I rate the Queen's five star it was much better than thought the food was first +the service+ it was not rushed .great will go

Lovely ambience, staff helpful but not intrusive, food very good. A delightful lunch. I see no reason why I should be made to say more than I wanted.

We hadn't been to the Queens before although we had passed it many times. We certainly weren't disappointed. As we went in we were greeted by two gentlemen , one of whom showed us to our table. The room was very nice, plenty of room. There was an extensive menu. The food we had was lovely. The four of us agreed that we would certainly be making a return visit.

The decor and ambience is lovely but we were a little disappointed with the food- steak was fatty and a bit chewy. We have eaten here before and had better meals so may e just a supply problem.

Freindly pub with good service, Excellent Sunday lunch and lovely puddings. Will try the pub during the week to try other dishes. Like the new decor. +

Fabulous food as always. Wednesday evening steak night is very good value too. Lovely atmosphere and friendly and attentive staff. Will certainly look forward to another visit.

Beautiful restaurant! It’s about pricey, but the food tastes amazing! All more quality than quantity. The restaurant decor is very stylish & there’s a lovely, calming river that runs down the side & big stones you can sit on to watch it go by. The staff are very friendly & always go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect during your visit.

Nice pub with good quality food. Our meals were of a high standard, chicken pie and a steak. Desserts were delicious and good portion size. Staff pleasant.

Great food, and a beautiful setting. We both n Had the ribeye steak for mains and a sea food sharing starter washed down with a nice Malbec wine. Great night had.

Had a fabulous Sunday lunch here today. The presentation, quality and taste of the food was excellent. The only thing that let this place down and has stopped us giving top marks is the service - it's shockingly bad. We were shown to our reserved table and then waited a 10-15 minutes before we were given the menu; despite there being young waitresses standing around, looking the other way. The lady that took our order didn't attempt to make any small talk and was straight in with 'what can I get you' Once we ordered our food it came out reasonably quickly. No one approached us to ask if the meal was ok or if we needed more drinks. We requested the bill and had to wait over 10 mins for it to arrive. It's a pity the service was so poor as the food is delicious.

Lovely place, friendly staff & a great choice of food. Really enjoyed our evening & booked to come back, to check out more of the menu.

Been here lots of times and its still great every time! Love the place! The food is fresh and amazing. You won't find a better place locally.

Menu was very limited. Stated on menu that you may wait 25mins when busy. Waited over 1 hour for food to arrive. Food was ok but nothing special. 3rd visit to the Queens, None have been good. There will not be a fourth!

Had a fantastic meal with parents. Thankyou to the kitchen staff for cooking such a good meal and the waitress ingredients staff for been so attentive.

The food was excellent however the service didn’t match it, the staff that were working were lovely but there wasn’t enough staff working to cover how busy the restaurant was. If you wanted to ask for an extra round of drinks or a coffee you had no chance of ordering it as there wasn’t nobody around to ask. Disappointing compared with the previous 2 visits because of the lack of staff serving.

Very good food and reasonably priced. Good service and atmosphere in a lovely location. Will definitely be returning soon. Thank you for a lovely meal!

Food was lovely, service excellent and staff were very attentive.Can’t fault the place other than the children portion was a bit small for my 8 year old but perfect for my 2 year old.

Friendly service in relaxed surroundings.The meals were hot and delicious.My duck confit and my wife’s sea bass were both excellent as were the two wines we chose.Both served at right temperatures.Recommended.

Excellent overall, i visit at least once a month at various times and i am always happy with the service and the quality of the food, very pleasant
