Fair portion size polite efficient service friendly staff value for money

Our visit was a family birthday meal for a party of 8. Four of the party have genuine food allergies. The waitress ( I think Drew Smith?) was very diligent in consulting chef about ingredients and advising on menu choices and adjustments. The other staff were just as helpful. Great service in a busy restaurant. A really good relaxed family meal was the result. Thank you!

A really enjoyable time, the food was well worth the wait. However we did feel like the table was a little small given we were a family of 4, we felt squashed and we would have appreciated a little more room.

Did enjoy my visit food was good but would like to see few more vegetarian meals on menus

The service was quite good but the 2 fish and chips was undercooked and the batter was soggy. The rest of the meals were ok

Service was very slow. No table service. Too noisy for hard of hearing. Food was good pub grub, and a good choice of beers etc.

Good was fabulous piping hot & delicious staff as always were great. Sticky toffee pudding is to die for. Highly recommend the Racehorse, but booking a must on Sunday

It was good quality food at a reasonable price. Plenty of space in the restaurant which was clean and has been decorated lovely. Would recommend for an easy nightout!

Lovely meal lovely jolly staff only fault is some of the meals are a bit too big, and also dessert was really large but was very delicious though

we waited 40 minutes for our food and when it came the beef was as tough as old boots. I will not be going to the Racehorse again.

Great food, great atmosphere and great staff. Will definitely be back for the fantastic nut roast:) Only negative was that they had sold out of cauliflower cheese:) how dare they!!!

Lovely meal portions huge my husband had the cod and it came with two fillets. Quality excellent and drinks very reasonable especially the gins. Lots of gins too to choose from.

It was my birthday- the meal was first class we all really really enjoyed - we all had the roast dinner platter didn’t have room for pudding mind x

Perfect Sunday lunch.. Timely service with a smile. Lovely hot food and plenty of it, excellent value for your money. Suggest booking to secure your chosen time for ease .. compliments to the team.

Food was lovely,plenty of it only issue we had was that we were put in a room with three groups that were rather large and loud would have appreciated knowing this as we couldn't hear other and would probably explain why our order was misunderstood

Really great night first time we had been, we took my parents who had been before who had said how much they liked it, the place was busy but couldn't fault any of the food or service all night

The Food,The Staff and management get a 10 out of 10 we go here quite often and always get great service and very tasty and hot food,thank you for another great experience,we brought friends and they were very happy they say they will come back,keep up the good work

Lovely meal at the Racehorse with welcoming and super friendly staff. Best pub in Warwick for food and atmosphere. We sat next to the wood burner which was lovely

A lovely evening was had at The Racehorse last Saturday. The place was very busy which is always a good sign in my books. As a table of 10 we had a range of different meals, but 2 that stood out were the Boozy Lamb and the Old Spot sausages, they were delicious! The food was delivered in good time, considering how busy it was and the atmosphere was great with several large tables and a birthday table too! The puddings were also delicious, portions being very generous indeed. The only slight niggle from a couple of people was that the size of the pies were a bit small, compared with other main meals. But all in all a great night, thank you all.

We had the roast dinner. It was beautiful, only bad thing I have to say about it was that the roast potatoes were very over cooked, apart from that, delicious!

Excellent food and service. Lovely atmosphere and surroundings. Definitely worth a visit. Plenty of car parking space at the front and rear of the building.

Sunday roast was not as good as it is normally , only a small amount of meat on both the beef and turkey roasts, disappointed as it’s normally so good.

Excellent atmosphere and food. Gluten free fish and chips recommend. The rest of the group had pies and the Sunday roast. All recommend. Thank you.

The meal and the service was excellent although the helping was too large for me, it's better to have too much than still be hungry

Lovely evening ! Atmosphere was fabulous. Cocktails were an added bonus including 241. Different gins available is amazing including the tonics. Will be returning soon.

Excellent service, great meals for a party of 20. The staff were brilliant, bringing us meals on time and extra drinks as and when required.

Nice atmosphere , friendly staff , just needed a few more staff members working as service was a little slow . Other than that , would definitely return

Really friendly and welcoming staff. Food was very tasty (we had Sunday roast lamb) and huge portion sizes making it good value for money! Overall a great place for a meal out.

The food was was well presented good portion size and absolutely delicious..... when it eventually arrived. Waited a long time to be served. This is the only thing that let them down. One couple waited so long they drank their drinks and left. they were told it was an hour wait for food. Could possibly have a capacity issue.

The food was lovely and the staff very friendly. I would have given a higher rating if we did not have to wait so long for our food. Just over an hour. To be fair we were given a free round of drinks which was a nice gesture and I have eaten here before when service has been much quicker. Would still recommend if you want good quality food for a reasonable price.

Sunday roast was a good experience with very generous portions and a good variety of vegetables and trimmings. The puddings were also very good. Thanks.

Sunday lunch at the Racehorse was fabulous thank you, a little pricey but very tasty and good portions. The staff were all very friendly and happy and there was a good atmosphere with good volume background music. Highly recommend, would definitely eat there again I haven’t been there since the summer and it’s the first time I’ve eaten there since their refurb and it’s a vast improvement. Shame most of the racing memorabilia has gone though and what happened to the old brown horse from outside? 🙁

Good meal. "Real" pies really are. Mixed veg not overcooked - I'm impressed. The portion sizes are very generous so where there are "small" options - consider them seriously. "Small" pork medallions was larger than I've seen at some places. The service was attentive but never hurrying. The waitress would advise when asked. Good all round: would go again.

We had a lovely meal, helpings were big and the meat was cooked nicely. Service was prompt and we had just the right amount of attention even though it was very busy pre-Christmas.

We went recently for a Sunday roast and a charity quiz. The Sunday roast was very good as usual with plenty of food and nice selection of vegetables. There is always a pig in blanket plus Yorkshire pudding on the plate, which is must for our family’s roasts. The quiz was interactive using a tablet or smart phone. We had not taken part in this type of quiz before. We enjoyed it and look forward to doing another one in the future.

Excellent service, great quality food and good-sized portions. Easy to park, well laid out and caters well for Adults and Children. A good selection of Food for Sunday lunch. Definitely will return.

Although we were told it would be a 1 hour wait for food it was only 30 minutes and 4 meals were worth waiting for. Nice atmosphere attentive and friendly staff and reasonably priced. Can recommend

Amazing, tasty meals, generous portion sizes and modestly priced. Excellent friendly staff! Lovely location, modern, light and airy restaurant with ample off road parking - will return, often!

Had a lovely evening with my husband food fantastic and to finish the evening listening to live music. Great value for money and portion size more than enough. Definitely recommend x
