Although very busy, we were told as soon as we sat at table there would at least a 45 minute wait for food - appreciated the heads up. Table service was excellent and the food was well worth waiting for. Would definitely revisit, in fact just booked to go there for breakfast on Saturday. My only suggestion is perhaps just stick to roasts on sundays and remove al la carte options

There was a 45-60 minute wait on food that we weee not made aware of until we had to ask where the food was after 45 minutes!! Just got a sorry off the waitress who spent most of her time stood about yawning... food was nice though. Gents toilets need some attention as one tap didn’t work at all and the one that did sort of was hanging off...

Very poor, had a booking for 7pm, we still had our mains on our table at 10.10pm. Undercooked halloumi side dish. Very disappointing experience.

Our visit was a family birthday meal for a party of 8. Four of the party have genuine food allergies. The waitress ( I think Drew Smith?) was very diligent in consulting chef about ingredients and advising on menu choices and adjustments. The other staff were just as helpful. Great service in a busy restaurant. A really good relaxed family meal was the result. Thank you!

A really enjoyable time, the food was well worth the wait. However we did feel like the table was a little small given we were a family of 4, we felt squashed and we would have appreciated a little more room.

Food was lovely, plenty of it only issue we had was that we were put in a room with three groups that were rather large and loud would have appreciated knowing this as we couldn't hear other and would probably explain why our order was misunderstood

A lovely evening was had at The Racehorse last Saturday. The place was very busy which is always a good sign in my books. As a table of 10 we had a range of different meals, but 2 that stood out were the Boozy Lamb and the Old Spot sausages, they were delicious! The food was delivered in good time, considering how busy it was and the atmosphere was great with several large tables and a birthday table too! The puddings were also delicious, portions being very generous indeed. The only slight niggle from a couple of people was that the size of the pies were a bit small, compared with other main meals. But all in all a great night, thank you all.

We had the roast dinner. It was beautiful, only bad thing I have to say about it was that the roast potatoes were very over cooked, apart from that, delicious!

Sunday roast was not as good as it is normally , only a small amount of meat on both the beef and turkey roasts, disappointed as it’s normally so good.
