The place was very busy with customers and it took time to receive our order but the meal was thoroughly enjoyable and value for money

Always the most amazing roast dinner at the Red Lion. Piping hot every time. Would highly recommend- which I do every time we go.

Family party of 6 + 2 children. Very accommodating and big portions. Children’s roasts would have fed most adults! A variety of meats to choose. Too full for pudding.

The level of service was the worst experiened in a very very long time. The food as usual was fine but clearly the staff had not been properly trained. We saw no evidence of any management This was a great pity as we have always enjoyed visits. This was not the Red Lion we know

I tried the chicken burger served in a brioche bun, comes with chips, switched the for a salad, very nice. my partner had his usual steak pie with chips

We visited at 4.15 pm on Tuesday afternoon so very quiet. However, welcoming staff behind the bar and from the kitchen.

Overall ....friendly and efficient staff, ordering straightforward, good food and loads of choices, nice atmosphere.

Lunch with my friend, it was very busy, food was tasty and enjoyable, the staff were very friendly and the food was served quickly despite it being so busy. The restaurant was fully booked so booking in advance is a good idea.

Ordered food, starters where there within a few minutes, followed by mains. Staff all very attentive, polite and jovial. Ate out on the terrace as the weather was lovely and finished of with drinks down on the lawn by the canal. Great setting and lovely atmosphere.
