As always excellent food and service. Visit spoilt a little bit by large noisy party of mature adults who thought they had booked the whole room and blocked the way around the bar instead of sitting at the tables they had booked like any considerate adult would.

Breakfast was wonderful and good value for money. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely go again.

The food and the service was very good and the staff very nice and friendly. The only thing that was disappointing was the appalling/disgusting carpet it was filthy - needs replacing urgently.

Good portion of Sunday lunch. Yorkshire pudding very good and the roast parsnips are the best I've tasted.. Shame there was no turkey or lamb left.. The Gamon was good but the beef was tough.. Overall experience was good.. well kept pub in wonderful surroundings.

Having only been once before for a Christmas meal a few years back and being impressed, we thought we’d pop in for a quick meal. Staff friendly, Service great, the place has a nice atmosphere. We had the mixed grill and cottage pie which were both tasty and generous portions. We’ve already decided we’re going back! Already decided we’re going back!

We had a nice afternoon the weather was good and the food was ok nothing to shout about pretty standard pub lunch. Wooden benches are never the most comfortable or stable and the umbrellas could be larger but all in all ok.
