Our first Sunday lunch out since October 2020 and it didn't disappoint. The Red Lion reserved a table with seats after I sent them an email as we had an elderly diner with mobility issues. Once we sorted the ordering process via the app which the Red Lion offered assistance everything was brilliant and the weather made it a lovely afternoon. I am sure we will be back.

Our 4th visit to the Red Lion. So glad we found this place, genuinely friendly staff and the quality of the food has been excellent. We love the Sunday lunch, its got that authentic home cooked feel. The mixed grill is the best Ive had in years.... just make sure your hungry before ordering it...... lol

Wonderful staff and as 1 of our party was celebrating a birthday an dish with ice cream and a candle was bought out. Such personal service is far and few between. Perfection. Highly recommended food too. Xxx

Thoroughly enjoyable experience both from the friendly girls on the bar to the food and atmosphere. Great music too, that I just had to find out what it was.

Sunday dinner was lovely. Would prefer a bigger plate so that food is not piled up. Battered fish was a bit soggy. Enjoyed everything else. Very busy but staff handled it well were very helpful and friendly.

Very noisey pub, 80's pop music playing whilst trying to eat and talk to friends on a Friday evening. Open plan so no quiet areas to talk, as the music was quite loud, people were having to talk louder to make themselves heard. The food was very good and good value. Not suitable for a quiet evening for two.

Always have a fantastic meal and great service at the Red Lion, was a bit disappointed our order was wrong this afternoon and kept having to repeat our drinks order back to the lady waiting on our table - hence not the full marks
