our 1st try for lunch, absolutely excellent, it's now a regular venue for meals our.

1st try for breakfast with friends. 3 full English & 1 light English, all totally happy. Nice quality bacon & sausage etc, we will definitely do it again

My meal was not great tbh , the cottage pie didn't taste anything like cottage pie it had very strange taste , veg was overcooked . They replaced my meal with fish and chips , the batter was dripping in yellow oil and the fish was slimy and very fishy didnt look like Cod at all ,so didn't finish it. however other members of party said theres was okay apart from steak burger meal lacked appeal , guiness was good and the sticky toffee was yum ..Im thinking it was a Saturday and maybe rushed ?I wasn't charged for meal and I didn't tell them about fish as well was embarrassing and my social anxieties couldn't cope with another issue

I visited the Red Lion on Monday 6th Feb. Another amazing meal. Excellent staff served by Jess Lucy and Mark. What I love about the pub is that all the meals come out hot unlike other places. You get a nice amount on your plate, it's not like other places where food is just heated its cooked fresh. Well done everyone

The food was lovely but the service not quite right. Some tables got waiter service so we sat patiently for some one to come over only to be told we had to order at the bar. The food came out quickly and was delicious and piping hot.

The food was good and the service was great. We will be back again soon

I have just got home from a lovely lunch at the Red Lion. Jess on the bar gave excellent customer service. She was very pleasant. Also had good waitress service from Remi. Our food was beautiful and very tasty. A good selection to choose from on the menu. They have lots of choices to choose from . Well done Red Lion

Lovely village pub in a lovely setting, the pub is spotlessly clean with a wide choice of home cooked food & there is always a good variety of dishes on the specials board, they cater for all dietary requirements, vegan etc. The staff are super helpful & friendly, I would recommend you book a table as the pub is very popular x
