Best Sunday lunch in the area! Great service. Lovely garden with play area that's great for the kids. I can't recommend it highly enough. Go!

Their roast lunch never fails to be wonderful and their Bloody Mary cocktail is legendary. Lots of kids always there, so be prepared for a bit of noise.

Disappointed with the burger and chips. Didn't have enough umbrellas at the outdoor tables it was a hot day and got burnt by the sun and there was no suggestions from the staff that there's more seating with umbrellas at the front of the pub. The tables were small for 4 people who came to eat. Won't be going back.

Absolutely brilliant pub especially for children, but all round just perfect. Food delicious (great kids menu too), service excellent, garden and play area exceeded expectations. Cannot recommend enough.

As an 'occasional regular' I would say the Rosendale is a place we always enjoy visiting. The food is tasty and well prepared (Tomato flatbread is to die for!) and the staff friendly. Top the evening off with a quick game table tennis and you've got a mid-week night out that's hard to beat. Minor niggle? Drinks could come more quickly, it's mildly irritating for the wine to turn up half way through a meal. That aside, I would thoroughly recommend the Rosendale to anyone.

Food was lovely as always, but today it was really busy and noisy, so you couldn't have a conversation during lunch. I love the sticky toffee pudding

Great meal, very nice steak pie, plenty of meat and extremely tasty. The service was polite and efficient. The real ale was rather limited on the day, but of a good standard. The prices are fair, considering the high standard of the grub. I would highly recommend this venue, especially for a lunch time meal.

Lovely pub with great outdoor play area for children. Food was delicious and the pub were very accommodating with us changing tables once an outdoor seat became available.

Excellent food and good, attentive service. Food came promptly and kids meals were served first without having to request this. Playground is an added bonus for families.

Excellent food and service and the ambience was very good. A delightful experience all round in a light and airy pub! We will definitely be going there again and not just for Sunday lunch.

Solid gastro pub good choice of beers and generous portions on Sunday roasts. Probably would return but there are many other similar venues to try

Friendly staff good great and meet, from staff. Tables were a little dirty from previous. Orders for the kids which came quick but waited to long with others being served before our main meal . Food was Luke warm.

Great food really fresh and delicious. Staff very friendly. Also loved the garden and kids play area. Would definitely return next time I'm in the area.

Took a very long time to get served, and the food was incredibly slow at eventually coming out. The wine was warm and we had to repeatedly ask for forgotten items - ketchup etc. It was a nice summers day and I understand the pub was busy, but we'd booked a week in advance so were very disappointed.

Lovely new summer menu, excellent service and atmosphere. Pub / restaurant / function rooms found at this delightful establishment which also has a front, side and back gardens to sit in and enjoy your meal or soak up the sunshine.

Very good Service could have been a bit sharper (clearing plates etc) Also, avoid the table by the back door if you can... Draughty corridor with people in and out all lunch..

Please have more fish meals. The last 4 times I've eaten here the fish special has finished & I've always eaten around 7pm. Surely that means you need to buy more fish!! Apart from this, it's a great local restaurant.

The food and rest was great as usual, but from entrance there persisted a strong smell of unwashed beer lines or a dishwasher, which ruined experience overall.

Excellent Sunday roast in the sun! Good selection of beers and ciders. Really good pub garden. Friendly waiters and bar staff. Buggy friendly too! Would reccomend

Great place to meet up for nine of us ranging from 4 to 78 where we given plenty of attention without intrusion. Food and wine good, and good value for the standard of cuisine. Thank you staff!

Lovely food, attentive service and reasonable prices! Choice was a bit limited on a Sunday night but roasts were first class. Very busy as Mother's Day.

Overall, we were very impressed with The Rosendale. It was a very good meal. The food came out quite quickly and was delicious - definitely will be returning.

We had a lovely evening starting with my birthday treat from the Rosendale . Food as ever very good staff and service friendly and effecient .

The Rosendale is great for families. Helpful staff, delicious and generous food. The staff kept food warm for two of our party while they walked the baby round the block to get him off to sleep. There is also a playground for kids and space to eat outside if you want. We enjoyed our meal and had a lovely relaxing time.

Great NYE meal here- no over priced set menus either. Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere and service was very good. Always enjoy meals here

3 of us enjoyed Sunday lunch at the Rosendale. My roast beef was tender if a little thinly sliced and accompanying veg and Yorkshire were good. The service was very fast. On previous visits it used to take forever on a Sunday for the food to arrive but if anything our meals came a bit too quickly even before we'd had a chance to order our wine.

Friendly staff, food was nice, not much of a choice for pudding and was a bit expensive for a pub Sunday lunch meal, drinks and service charge

Super Sunday Lunch with the family. We booked a late 4pm table which meant the dining area was much quieter. Great service and delicious food, our French guests were most impressed.

Large pub with a play area for the kids so very good to spend an afternoon in with friends. Good food and decent selection of drinks.

Excellent. Top quality food, excellent ale. The staff are lovely. The only downside is that we seemed to have been booked between two sittings. The kitchen closes at 4:00 and reopens early evening for the later meals. Sadly this meant that there was a lack of staff between shifts and so we had an extremely long wait between courses. However we were offered a reduction in our bill, which we considered fair. All in all, well worth a visit.

Booked for Sunday lunch, restaurant very noisy, sitting on long benches you feel all the movement from the bench behind, not comfy at all. Food although served hot, tasted spicy and overly seasoned. Wine was served at correct temperature but is expensive for what it is. Would not book this restaurant again.

Absolutely delicious roast beef again! Couldn't eat it all as the portion was huge. The staff were all very friendly and the atmosphere is always great.

Always a great meal when we come here. Excellent food and excellent beers on tap. We look forward to coming here and it's child friendly which is a bonus.

Food ok, staff need to up their service level as lots of waiting, also disappointed that after phoning through to the restaurant specifying where we would prefer to sit this had not been fed through.

January's Half price food ( and good food it is ) is a real draw to this large Dulwich pub. Our party sampled a good crab starter, a delicious cauliflower cheese tart , excellent steaks properly cooked , a generous steak pie and some good quality sea bass. The evening was slightly spoilt by lacklustre service . We had to walk across the restaurant a couple of times to gain the attention of the waiting staff who by the end of the evening were far from rushed off their feet! Coffee from local roaster, Volcano, was good.

Beautiful venue, very accommodating towards our large group of 15 people, delicious food. Steaks were delicious and starter calamari excellent! Can't wait to go again!

Great time, excellent service, they gave our dog water and treats, and the food was amazing. Plus 50% off in January. Looking forward to going again.

After ordering our food it took just over an hours for our food to be ready. When it arrived, they got my order wrong and so I had to decide whether to wait longer or just eat the meal they brought me. In all the time we were waiting no-one came by to ask if we wanted anything else or more drinks etc. The food that we ate was excellent though.

great food - we both had the lamb shoulder and it was excellent, today service was a but slow and they forgot our olives :(

Delicious food, nice atmosphere just a bit too expensive. They always have a delicious fish dish with some type of creamy sauce, which I always enjoy!

Very attentive staff, good servoce and as always great food at a reasonable price with the tastecard offer. Would recommend for a classic pub dinner.

Service was great our waitress was very friendly, helpful and accommodating but food wasn't great today. Unusual as it's usually really lovely. We were offered desert on the house in place of the 'not so good' food.

We spent a lovely afternoon in the Rosendale on New Year's Day. Friendly service and didn't feel rushed. Food was tasty and plentiful. First time there and would go again.

Our party of 5, including 3+ year old girl, thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal. Each food course and dish were excellent; tasty innovative and satisfying! There was a minor misunderstanding over the wine order, resolved satisfactorily, although the prices are on the high side The table situation next to the fireplace at the rear of the restaurant was also a little drafty But overall,l an excellent birthday treat We look forward to dining here again Peter Goodwin

The perfect spot for a delicious family lunch. Smiling service and a well-conceived menu. Pleasant atmosphere as well with nice spaces- we will certainly become regulars.
