Fantastic service, great food. Really accommodating for our lunch time birthday meal this Sunday. Everything felt relaxed and there was a good atmosphere generally Will definitely be back.
Lovely food, wine and atmosphere as well as brilliant service as always. We have been coming to the Rosie for years and would highly recommend it. A great local!
The restaurant was busy but we did not have to wait long for our meal. Food was very good , staff friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere.
Lovely Sunday lunch at the Rosendale and efficient service. Only downside was a change of menu from previous visits meaning the vegetarian option had changed from wellington to nut roast.
Efficient service and extremely friendly staff. A great variety of food delivered to your table fast but fresh - yum yum A really buzzing atmosphere - booked for Christmas dinner it wa so good
we booked the rosendale as we wanted to do the monday night quiz which they stopped the previous week. There appeared to be no interest in the games night. The food was good value and service was good.
Very busy but overall pleasant time. Food was decent and it is extremely convenient to where we live. Staff were helpful. We intend to visit again.
Food is great. Would really recommend the pizza. Service is excellent and the staff at really friendly. Go a little later in the evening to avoid lots of children
Always great food and excellent service! We love having Sunday lunch at The Rosendale. Our favourites are Roast beef and the Pork Belly. Always delicious!
Fantastic food, friendly staff and very baby friendly lunch time visit. Especially good at Christmas time as the pub has a great festive atmosphere. Will definetly return again
Fantastic place to go with kids and the food is excellent too. The staff were really helpful and friendly and there was so much space which is great when you have buggies, highchairs etc.
Lovely steak, nice atmosphere. Drinks were a little slow to arrive but not a big deal, otherwise it would be a 6! Will be back
food was very good as was the service. Family friendly place. We had a buggy and the staff helped to take it up the small steps.
Great food and service but restaurant very busy and table felt very cramped with not much room to move. Restaurant was very noisy due to a large party with lots of children. Food good quality, good value for money and served very quickly.
One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to! We waiting 30 minutes for drinks, our starters were over cooked, our fish main were rock hard and there was blood coming out of a burger we had ordered, another group we're letting off party poppers off whilst children were getting scared and screaming and then they wanted a £15.00 service charge for attending the table three times! Which we refused.. It was awful! One of the worst restaurants I have ever been too! Ruined the birthday we were out for!
Lovely country feel pub. Warm and attentive staff. Good décor, love the high ceilings and light fittings. Classic English style menu all of which served promptly and good presentation. Large portions which is something quite rare in Today's London restaurant scene it seems. Special shout out for the Portobello Mushroom dish which was a delicious, cheese-free, vegetarian and Gluten Free friendly creation. Huge fan - I'd return just for that. Thank you!
We had Very good starters and main courses, the staff were cheerful, excellent service, in a good atmospheric pub for Sunday lunch. Would strongly recommend.
Lovely food, huge portions and friendly atmosphere. Favourite place for Sunday lunch. You need to reserve a table by Saturday morning if you are a large party. Dogs are also welcome.
Lovely late afternoon Sunday dinner. Great atmosphere - good food - and very good with the two 1 year olds that we had with us. Can highly recommend.
Very accomodating staff. Food was beautiful, seating was nice & a lovely ambience. Highly recommend to families as is a very family friendly place. Made my mums birthday a happy & memorable one as nothing was too much for the helpful friendly staff.
Good Table - menu changed but very good choice. Taken friends from ~Germany and they were very impressed. The trout was excellent and the chicken
Great food as always and superb service. The roast beef and veggie roast both very tasty and will definitely return. The sticky toffee pudding is also amazing.
Very good food in a cosy ambient. . It's like being at home ! The staff are very polity and quick. It was a lovely experience .
Ansolutely brilliant really gd food gd service and full on a wednesday lunchtime seems we were not the only ones who thought so Wil willingly return
Excellent service, good food and very reasonably priced. Loved their homemade lemonade! I will definitely go back there again sometime soon ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺. Check it out!
Great food as always. However in recent weeks the standard of service has dropped markedly, which is a real shame and makes us think twice about going.
Great service and easily a family friendly environment without losing a pub atmosphere. Good was good and they where very accommodating. Will be looking forward to going back.
Lovely food and very busy which is always a good sign! Very helpful young staff, though slightly over enthusiastic about clearing courses and hurrying the meal. We felt a bit rushed.
Courteous and polite staff met and greeted us on arrival and showed us to our table. The food was good, wholesome pub food, well presented, for enjoyment in a pleasant atmosphere. We'll go again!
The food was good but a little bit disorganised, our booking wasn't prepared properly, they didn't have the right table size for our booking, had to repeatedly ask for basic things like cutlery to be brought! A nice place but a bit more attention to detail needed.
Nice venue and staff were friendly apart from the sever forgetting to add one of the dishes to the order so my mum had to wait 15 mins before she had her main and by that point we had finished!
Food good, service bad. Under trained staff, all very young, nice but spent a lot of time waiting and asking again and again for things. Nice place but lack in training for the people who work there.
Excellent food and a warm, friendly, family atmosphere. There was a good choice from the menu even on a sundry evening at the end of a busy day. The waiter was quite young and relatively inexperienced but very helpful and charming.
Good food and service. The vanilla panacotta with mandarin was good, and the sticky toffee pudding also enjoyed by others in our group. Had to request lemon and ice for our water.

Four of us went for Sunday lunch. The food was really good - beautifully cooked and presented - and it arrived quickly. The service was excellent - friendly, attentive and efficient but not intrusive. And it's such a lovely relaxed pub with great outdoor space. Last time I visited I'd been worried standards were slipping but the Rosendale is back on form!
Really lovely food (plaice and salad) and excellent wine (Pinot Grigio Rosé). Good service and reasonable price. A very good place for a lunch during the week.
Friendly service, enjoyable food. We visited on a Sunday at 7pm and the only roasts left were Chicken, so head in early if you fancy one!
Lovely lunch at The Rosendale, the food was really good and the staff were excellent particularly with our 1 year old. We are very lucky to have it as our local
Nice food, ample portions, good for kids with a little play section at the back. They forgot some of our order but this was quickly rectified quickly.
I always know I can rely on the Rosendale. The service and the food is exceptional. Been a regular for numerous years now and will continue to be one.
Great staff, great food, great venue! Cut through the inevitable wedding reception and sit down in the restaurant for one of the best roast diners in the area. Generous portions and excellent variety A+++
The staff at the Rosendale were so friendly and helpful. The Pizzas were delicious and everyone had a great time. The children played in the playground at the back. It was amazing celebrating my birthday at The Rosendale
Excellent service and a thoroughly enjoyable meal; steak bearnaise for me and a pizza with an extra bowl of roast potatoes for my wife, delicious! The menu is reassuringly simple and classy, including roasts, burgers, steaks, fish, salads, salads and a host of side orders and extras. The Rosendale is spacious inside and out, offering a very pleasant dining experience. Child friendly and highly recommended!
Disappointed that there was no belly pork left. Only two roasts beef and chicken. Other diners very noisy. Staff very pleasant. Visited 6.30 pm Sunday 21 August.
Good food, excellent service and very child friendly. Probability not one for a romantic meal for two, at least not at lunchtime anyway! Will definitely visit again.
We love love love this place! Great in the winter and the summer! Food always yummy and service always great! The Sunday roasts are almost as good as my godmothers!
Expensive for what it was. There were pigeons eating left-over food from ground, dirty tables outside and missing food and drink from our order. Food was ok. Very disappointing!
Waiting staff were poor and seemed disinterested. Told there were no pizzas available but let table next to us order them. Maybe it was just us?
Excellent food and service. A great area outside at the front, and a very kid-friendly enclosed area outside at the back. Piping hot Sunday Roast as a birthday treat, so we were a very happy family - thank you!
We enjoyed sitting outside in their garden on a Sunday evening. Food and service were excellent. The fish was so crispy. The burger was delicious and cooked to perfection. Gravy was the best I've tasted. Will definitely go again.
