The Rosendale

Went to The Rosendale for a birthday meal with friends and family. The food was very good and the service was good. Nice childrens menu.

Friendly helpful staff. Good food. Children friendly but also a great atmosphere for people who aren't with kids. A real gem of a pub.

The service was excellent and so were the vegetables, but my meat was tough, fatty and undercooked. I could barely cut through it and I was embarrassed as I'd invited a friend along. I won't be going back.

The whole family agreed that the food was excellent and the friendly helpful staff made us very welcome. It was extremely busy but we didn't feel rushed at all it just made for a lively vibrant atmosphere.

Excellent food, very good service!!! Will go there again and again for sure. Staff very pleasant and my puppy very welcome too! Family friendly and good location. The only thing is the music sometimes can be TOOOOO loud!

Food and service spot on. Will visit again. Gets very busy on weekends so do book ahead. Also nice mid week when it is a bit quieter.

A lovely setting, quality environment but informal atmosphere. Attentive, professional and friendly service, and good food with excellent moments. The dinner menu on-line is not the same as the menu at the restaurant though.

Great service and even better food at The Rosendale. The staff were friendly and offered a good selection of drinks to go with our drinks.

Place and food great, was sat in a corner next to two set of doors so a bit chilly.

We went for sunday lunch. It was very busy but the staff gave us a quiet table away from all the babies and toddlers (may have been a coincidence but it seemed that the babies and toddler tables were all grouped together which seemed sensible!) food and atmosphere was very good and the service excellent.

It's far too noisy for a restaurant, we couldn't hear each other speak and couldn't wait to leave. The bill was also incorrect and took ages to sort out. It's a nice building with very high ceilings which makes it very noisy but without some attention to this it's just too unpleasant as a restaurant. Hint - if the general noise was at a reasonable level it's highly likely we would have had another bottle of wine, desserts and coffees!

Great food. We had roast beef Sunday lunch. It included a generous serving of 5 different veggies. All cooked to crunch. Definitely be back. Thanks

The food and service were excellent and the table in a nice area up the stairs. Unfortunately there were some very noisy children who were allowed to run about by the Mother... However, the ambience was much improved when the family left.

Excellent food as always, the pork belly special was very good, shame the crab had run out as I really wanted to try that. Good selection of craft beers.

Good wholesome food, very welcoming and helpful staff, making a pleasant Sunday lunch. Buzzy atmosphere, a little noisy sometimes but only people enjoying themselves. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Booked for 6, 3 kids 2 adults & grandma for Sunday lunch. Table was ready when we arrived, service was great, staff were friendly and the food was amazing. Would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely wonderful roast dinner. Fantastic ambience. Alex was an amazing waiter. Couldn't ask for a greater experience taking the stress out of cooking for a family catch up

I have dined at the Rosendale a number of times but this was the best meal yet. The food was tasty and the wine excellent. I shall go again.

Best ever pub in West Dulwich or even SE London. Best food menu for miles around. Lovely pleasant helpful staff, very attentive and know their stuff.

Great food and atmosphere! The pub was busy as expected for Saturday evening! The staff was quick and friendly! The princess-reasonable! Will recommend to friends!

Service was slow- had to keep asking after some items and one main didn't arrive until we'd all pretty much finished. When it did turn up the food was good and we were sat in the garden which is really nice. Very child friendly but its a shame they allow smoking there (right next to the playground!)

Great service, friendly staff and great value for money. Food was extremely tasty. Highly recommend the steak - it was cooked to perfection and all other meals looked delicious!

Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, tasty food and lovely atmosphere. The Rosendale never disappoints! The chorizo scotch eggs are spectacular. I highly recommend a visit.

We had a catch up with a group of friends at The Rosendale. The service was good and the food really nice. One pizza wasn't hot enough but they rectified that easily. The ambience of the pub is great. Definitely recommend for dinner.

We had a lovely dinner as always- recommend the pizza and share a few starters as they are quite generous! Food arrived quickly and service was friendly.

Really like my local pub! Very good food and good atmosphere. The garden is also very nice to enjoy warm evenings! Would definitely recommend it.
