Great food - fresh, well prepared and presented. Lovely, friendly staff provided attentive service.

We had a very nice meal. We often eat at The Rosendale.

Everything was great. My Fish was delicious. The Roast Pork was impressive but the potatoes were a little soggy. A bit chilly, though. Thank you.

Food very good, service good most of the time. My friends and I found the noise level quite stressful towards the end of our visit.

Really well cooked traditional food, good portions, well priced and quickly served by really nice friendly staff. Excellent!

The staff in particular the female staff very rude, frosty no understanding consideration for children. They are totally unreasonable expecting my young children to walk all the way around the building to access the garden then what is the purpose of the side doors. This is my local pub and more often i experience the same frosty unwelcoming behaviour from the staff.

Lovely venue; great atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was disappointing though.

We visited Rosendale on 22nd Dec so it was in a good atmosphere. We wanted vegan Wellington but it wasn't available at 1.30pm so that was a disappointing, however we didn't know we needed to book for the Christmas party menu. It took some time for the main to be served but it was good in all.

Absolutely amazing Christmas dinner although the creme brulee lacked pistachio and wasn't that deep but the real issue was the service. Confusion over the booking when we arrived and then sat us at the wrong table. But worse was the waiting between each course or even to be given a drinks menu. It was just too long. We were out for 2 hours, we only get an hour for lunch!! And what makes that worse is that we pre-ordered the lunch menu so why did it take so long? Needless to say, we won't be coming again.

Food was cold, beef could not have been cut thinner, too much garlic _ garlic on a roast??? Very disappointing but cold toast I cannot forgive

Rude front of house staff when we were trying to get our family organised, very stressed waitresses, rushed us to leave just as soon as people were eating, food absolutely mediocre, turkey dry, potatoes not fresh and dry also, only good thing about this place was the gravy. Would never return. Such rude staff.

The food was delicious. The server wasn’t as friendly as we hoped. We were celebrating Thanksgiving (we are from USA and had noted that in the reservation). But overall lovely meal.

The food is really nice at the average price for London. However, despite the fact that there were lots of waiting staff, it was very difficult to get anyone's attention whenever we need to ask for something.

Best Sunday lunch in a long time and excellent value for the quality

Food was delicious and quickly delivered, whole party of five had a nice afternoon. Recommended venue for Sunday lunch (and my sons wedding yesterday which was catered beautifully)

Good great, service great, children continually running up and down. Spoilt the evening. We left after food and only had one drink. Not anti kids but running around? How about no children after 7pm? Noise level was ridiculous. May be worth investing in acoustic buffers ( I work in construction) Unlikely to visit again I'm afraid. Shame as the food was great

Our first drinks didn’t arrive until we were over half way through our meal, no cheese in the cheeseburger and no sign of the extra Yorkshire pudding until my third time of asking! There was only 4 of us! Food was really nice but they shouldn’t accept tables if they are too busy to serve people. If the waitress would have apologised I wouldn’t be so unhappy but she just sort of shrugged. Not sure I would bother again on a Sunday.

Lovely beef roast and vegan Wellington, 2 bloody Mary’s and a cheese board. The only downside we would have liked a bit more gravy on the plate. Great service and lovely staff.

The food was great - we really enjoyed our roast dinner. Unfortunately, we were sat by a door to the outside deck that was constantly left open, letting in a very cold breeze. Constantly having to shut it became old very quickly and sadly this ruined my dads birthday meal.

Everything was really great, service, ambience, drinks and steak. The only disappointment was the chips. They were greasy and not crispy at all - probably because they had skins on.

The Sunday lunch is delicious. I'm definitely going back. Five Stars

Always reliable as a venue for a catch up with friends.

A pub with nice environment and lots of space oriented toward families! We had a salad, 2 burgers with drinks and a kids portion. The goat cheese salad was uninspiring. It almost felt like the cook threw everything on the plate and called it a day. The burgers looked nice but the quality of the meat was not great! Tasted like iced patties from Aldi or something, for £16 each! It was an “ok” lunch but we paid a lot for the value we got back.

A busy Sunday.Staff were excellent,very aware, friendly and on the ball.Sunday roast was fine.

Sunday lunch was great, as ever. The staff were very friendly and found us a suitable table outside with ample shade. We will definitely return again!
