Rosendale is excellent. Food is amazing, steaks were perfectly cooked. Craft beer range is local and spot on.

Four of us had a meal on Monday evening. We were all very pleased with our service and food. I had the potted crab for starters and the sea bream for mains- all delicious!

Fish batter was too oily. Not a great choice on menu. What happened to the sea bass?

It was difficult to talk as there were two large parties of parents & young children who were there when we arrived & still there when we left early as they were still wandering around & banging toys efc . It was like having dinner in between two creches .When you book on line you have no idea wwho else has booked. We think the chef is good but the menu is a bit stale. Although we like the local position of the rosendale, we will be investigating other places..

Rosendale was great for a Saturday afternoon lunch, only negatives were the Risotto dish was a bit too milky/creamy and not much flavour and we had to ask for the plates to be cleared long after we had finished eating, even though other tables were being cleared around us and we had moved the plates away from infront of us.

Had birthday drinks with friends in the garden. Excellent service and yummy food. I was also surprised with a free glass of Prosecco as it was my birthday, which was a nice treat.

Enjoyed the garden in the sun with friends and children. It’s a great garden with families. We love the playground area.

This was my third visit to the Rosendale. Food is always brilliant. Child friendly with a small playground in their garden. However this time service was quite shoddy. The staff seems overwhelmed and flustered. It was 30 mins after we sat down before we were told we had to order food and drink on their new app. Food was coming out in dribs and drabs. So we all ate our main courses at different times. Not my favourite visit there, but it won't stop me going again. It is rare to find a pub that serves good quality food and has a playground to keep the kids busy.

Very nice atmosphere and a very good local beer selection. However, table service is a bit much to be desired and the food took a fair while to come but tasted very very good when it arrived. Roasts are highly recommended, even if they are on the pricey side.

We had vegetarian Sunday roast, shame Yorks pudding was out of stock. Also the dessert I wanted was out of stock too but the alternative was good enough so I was happy.

Excellent service at lunch time today. I had a reservation in the back garden but we decided to sit in the sun and they accommodated us very easily. The Covid safety is very good too. Excellent food.
