The Ruddington Arms

Very good service ... waiters very attentive. Food choices and quality very good. Food priced appropriate. Atmosphere and surroundings appropriate for girlie catch up but also a date night. Would recommend.

This was our first visit to the Ruddington Arms. The food was beautiful, cooked to perfection and was simply delicious. The staff were very attentive and the interior was modern with a rustic twist. I thoroughly recommend the Ruddington Arms, and am certain you will not be disappointed.

Food was great and service was good, table in a truely awful position by a door which was used fairly often resulting in a cold breeze blowing our direction each time it was opened and having staff and other guests squeezing by made it a less than comfortable dining experience. Almost like they had overbooked and needed to get an extra table out so they stuck it in a random place by a door and in a walkway.

Excellent value for money, tho very noisy! Our waitress was brill! We received a really warm welcome. Thank you. It was my daughters birthday and we celebrated with family. Good food, good service.

All four of us thoroughly enjoyed the meal at Ruddington Arms. Great food, great service, nice place. Good choice on the menu. Definitely would go back.

Food was amazing, been several times before but never for Sunday lunch, they didn't disappoint, amazing yet again and top service

The Menu was both exciting and varied with additional special available on the evening. We all had a Great Meal and the venue has a real Ambience - highly recommend.

Good Sunday lunch - decent food and service with very large Yorkshire puddings and good beer. The beef was a bit fatty and spotted dick not fully cooked so hence slightly lowe score.

The initial order taking was slow but the meal was lovely and great value for money. Very pleasant environment in a country style pub.Would go back again.

Food was superb as usual, I think the inclination of the staff to be friendly and converse with customers can sometimes result in a slower service, hence a score of 5 rather than 6.

Great evening, friendly bar for pre dinner drinks then tasty , freshly prepared food . Good range of appetising choices on the menu, the children had delicious home made burgers and the adults shared a succulent chateaubriand steak. Staff helpful and welcoming too.

Quality, consistent food, good beers and high standard of service too. Slightly expensive but given the consistency, I'm ok with that! Also, caters for kids well with kids meals being in line with main menu and not just rubbish kids menu most other places serve. Definitely recommend the Ruddington arms, especially if it's a special occasion and you want better quality than typical chain pubs.

Had an excellent night at the Ruddington Arms food was excellent in a warm and very friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be going back again.

The atmosphere was relaxed and the service good. The menu however is very limited if you are vegetarian., which would prevent us returning. Overall I would rate it as above average dining pub food.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Ruddington Arms and would (and have) recommended it to others. The food was excellent. The service was also excellent, although the restaurant was not busy when we went, so we don't know what the service is like when the restaurant is busy.

Great service and in a timely manor, even tho one of the group had to rush off, I would recommend this place to colleague and will be back in the new year

I've eaten here several times now and the food is always very good. Staff are friendly and efficient. It's a popoluar and busy place so I'd say it's best to book ahead.

Fantastic Sunday dinner!! We dined her as a family of four and setting is simply stunning, the staff are attentive and courteous. I can highly recommend the beef!

Excellent Fish & Chips. Every little bite was delicious. Highly recommend it. Best to book as it gets busy especially in the weekend. Tasty food even the Mushy peas were different . Very tasty with extra mint and real peas.

Excellent food as always. Everything's tho Get out here, the decor, the service, the food and even the toiletries! You can buy hand cream locally made, lovely touch!

Why was this reservation cancelled when my customers went and ate there last night?

Lovely meal with excellent food and service. We had scallops and chorizo and figs in honey for starters. Both were delicious. The same can be said of the mains. The salted cod looked lovely and we always appreciate good fish on the menu. Belly pork also beautiful. Two of us were too full for puds but the men managed cheese and biscuits which they enjoyed.

Underwhelmingly average. Food beautifully presented but lacked depth of flavour, and some meals were huge, some were very small, leaving some of our party feeling lacking. Staff were all very friendly and lovely but no one asked once if our food was ok, if we had enjoyed our meals. We expect more for the prices being charged. Nice wam atmosphere and pleasant evening, but let down by the food and lack of enagement by the staff.

We had a lovely meal, staff pleasant and helpful. Will definitely be going again. Already booked for a girls night out Christmas week. Lovely atmosphere.

Atmosphere good, great lovely pub to have locally ood lovely but a little pricey, staff nice but spent most of the evening shining glasses almost became comical had to keep asking for next course, next drink, Bill but the glasses were shiny! Reccomend if you can be European about level of service then everything else is great!

Splendid food & service with comfortable atomosphere. Best restaurant among the ones that I have visited during my tirp on October 2016. very satisfied. Especially Grilled Mackerel & Cheese & crab souffle.

Came here for brunch in October 2016. We ordered the Eggs Royale which were fabulous! Would highly recommend the Ruddington Arms - good food, good ambiance and friendly service.

Sunday roast finishes at 5pm so back to the usual menu. Should a menu be changed monthly! Maybe I'm here too often. Brilliant as usual. Peter Groves

very nice starter pate was excellent only two little things gravy was to thin and the beef dinner was cold the quality of the food was very good . will try again

My friend and I booked a table for 2 for a Saturday evening. The booking process was easy and confirmation came quickly. The menu and specials board offers plenty of choice, the food was excellent and the service friendly without being intrusive. Good value. Will return.

As always the food was absolutely delicious. Service very good and prompt. Have been several times and food of a consistently high standard. Would definitely recommend.

Good service amazing food! Had the Steak Burger and it was the best burger i had ever had, my partner had a steak and also said it was very very good!

This was our second visit- so that must tell you something! We found the food extremely good, with a good menu and daily specials. Prices were not out of the way either. The only downside was the fact that apart from our party of 3, after a few minutes, we were the only customers left, on this some what chilly Tuesday. We found the service polite and friendly, but unfortunately, somewhat slow. Wouldn't stop us from visiting again though.

An excellent meal in a lovely atmosphere. The staff were very friendly. Menu choices were excellent and the food was delicious. We will be back.
