Really good food yet again. The people I took with me were really impressed by the food they had as well - great value for money

Arrived at 12pm, given only one menu - even though there were two available. Drinks order taken and food order taken, the meal was for a table of 3, 2 people on the table there food, and the third person had to wait 35mins, during that table other people arrived at the venue and got their food first?????

Food lovely but service v slow. Had to ask for menu 30 mins after arrival. Then 20 minutes to get someone to take order. But i do think its because they were v busy with big parties Food was yummy. Lovely flavours. Would recommend just not if you are in a hurry

Service was friendly and the atmosphere was good. I would have expected more from the food though. It was good but I just had expected more.

Very good food and pleasant atmosphere. After becoming familiar with Sichuan food in Chengdu and Hong Kong (and loving the real cuisine) my impression was that there were some concessions being made for the Londoners who are not familiar with the authentic style. But very good – and I will definitely return.

The Sichuan was excellent, the food delicious and the service was charming. we had a really good meal and enjoyed our evening. I would recommend this restaurant and will visit again.

With a starter more than we could quite manage. Very friendly staff. Dishes spicy and not quite you would get at more anglicised places on the high street. Well worth a visit and good value to boot.

Our orders didn't arrive on time, one friend has to take her food in a doggy bag because it arrived too late, but the restaurant did offer some discount to apologise.

The dishes were really good, especially the chicken we ordered that night. The environment was nice without much exaggerated decorations as some Chinese restaurants do, the owner (I think) was quite friendly and humorous. I would definitely go again!

Excellent attentive service, all staff polite and helpful, great choice of dishes on the menu to suit all tastes, great value for money. Vsited The Sichuan approximately four times in last two weeks during lunch hour and would never tire of visiting due to great choice of food on offer

the food is very nice, authentic Chinese Shichuan cuisine. the restaurant is clean and tidy, beautifully decorated. the staff is helpful and kind. price is reasonable.

Very spicy indeed! The waiters are all very friendly. Can get 10% if paid by cash. You can tell the waiter how spicy you want your dish even if there's no symbol on the menu.

Extremely disappointed. 1 of our 3 ordered dishes (from the lunch menu) arrived 45 minutes later and cold. Advertised as 6 spring rolls, only 3 were on the plate, each cut in half to make it look like there were 6. I had to go back to work so went to pay for what had eventually arrived and they tried to include a service charge! The staff were pushy and rude. I tried to organise a nice lunch with a friend I don't see very often and we were so disappointed. Ended up going to Itsu down the road.

Wonderfully flavourful (not all HOT) and unusual dishes, great service, especially the familiar faces from the previous Italian incarnation. We will go again and again.

As good as always. Friendly staff, food arrives quickly and it is super tasty and very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend and I will keep going back.

The food was delicious, the service was great and the ambience was fun and vibrant. We really enjoyed the restaurant and the whole experience. We will definitely come back again and recommend The Sichuan to anyone who wants authentic delicious sichuanese cuisine.

very tasty food and good portions - the whole grilled fish is their specialty and a must-order - it did not disappoint. Highly recommended for lovers of authentic Sichuan cuisine.
