Always a great experience at the Stonhouse. The food is amazing, the staff excellent and a good choice of craft beers. One of favourite places in London.

Visited on mother’s day! The food was lovely, we all had roast beef (couldn’t say no to a roast) - everything tasted great. Was a really nice atmosphere inside! Will definitely return!!

Great food! Stonhouse is just a really great pub with a good atmosphere. I come there rather frequently and always have a lovely time with zero complaints!

Really nice food. Friendly & attentive waitress. Recommend ordering a side of roast potatoes with the roast dinners though, as you only get a couple of tiddly ones with the meal...

Great food, ok service. We were there on Sunday and it was really busy, so the service was not fast. But we were happy with our Sunday roast- size, taste & quality.

Over-priced salad, got 4 bits of tofu and the rest seemed to just be leaves. No flavour either. The rest was good though and the staff were friendly.

Great food, wondereul wine and memorable service at this local pub which tends to always get the atmosphere just right. Would always recommend a meal here

Great pub. We go there all the time for lunch on a friday because it is close to our work and takes taste card. Nice food, good beers. Friendly staff.

Food and service great as always! Roast beef for the main course, followed by hazelnut and caramel cheesecake for dessert. My favourite roast in Clapham :)

Really tasty food and friendly service. Could have stayed longer and enjoyed their desserts and wine but we had to go to the theatre. Always recommend this place!

Chewy roast beef, very cold Yorkshire pudding (the worst I’ve ever had) and cold roast potatoes.... extremely uninspiring roast. Not a venue I’ll be returning to

Love the food here...however perhaps more than 1 vegan option would be good as my friend (vegan)did not have any choice as to what starters and main to choose from

It's a good pub for drinks, but foodwise it's quite poor. Nothing of the food we had made me tempted to come here again, even when it was 50% discounted (January offer).

We had such a lovely evening. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food delicious and the atmosphere jovial. I would thoroughly recommend the Stonhouse

Very good roast dinner - both the beef and chicken were excellent and generous portions. Drinks brought to the table and extra gravy provided for free when asked. Had to sit at a high table but it was fine. Very busy and quite noisy but perfect for a wet Sunday afternoon.

Great lively pub with excellent food. Would have given it a 6 but they were out of everything we ordered. What we ended up with was delicious though.

My second time there, nice food and smiley service. Slightly disappointed though as I was treating a friend and make it clear to the person who sat me down first that I had a 50% off food offer which I didn’t want mentioned at the point of asking for the bill, but alas it was...! Shame but otherwise a fine meal

Friendly service and tasty, hearty food. Bargain with the 50% January deal. We got the bake and chips and the burger with chorizo and cheddar. Both were lovely.

We had a great evening especially as there was a 50% off food offer for January. Good steaks, great chips, delicious puddings. Atmosphere noisy and jolly. Service good despite busy pub. Really enjoyed the Australian Malbec @ £22.

Great pub - there's a fire which makes it warm and cozy in the winter and a beer garden which will be great in the summer. Good service, not rushed. Great atmosphere fantastic food.

I love dining at the Stonehouse. The starter's were very good, also the steak pie was and mushroom wellington were very tasty. A great start to the week.

The ston house is our local pub and we are more then satisfied every time we go. Great food, lovely relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.

Fun, busy, friendly staff and great value for money with the 50% off January deal! We would recommend the gravalax and terrine, and the beef board and burger. The sides are also very good.

This is my favourite local pub/restaurant. The food, staff and ambience are excellent and a great venue for any occasion. It never fails to please.

Great food and service as always. The place could do with a lick of paint and a updated deco, however the fire place is very enjoyable on those wintry weekends.

First time at the Stonhouse and would recommend / return. We had a lovely evening. The food was nice with a good selection to choose frin. Busy venue, very noisy in bar area to begin with.

A delicious Sunday roast and great service. The Stonhouse is a great choice if you are looking for a very enjoyable afternoon in a pleasant atmosphere.

Great food, but relatively limited table time before having to give it up, which was never mentioned beforehand. Good atmosphere and very well situated. Real fire place too

Another visit to the Stonehouse as I had a friend coming down to Clapham. The place was busy enough but not full so there was a nice " ambiance " The food was good as well as the service.

Great winter warming foos and amazing wait service and chat. sat by the fire made it feel all the more cosey on a cold night.

I booked a table for 2 for me and a friend, who had not been to the Stonhouse before. We both had the beef Sunday roast, which was very good, but could have been a little warmer. We also had dessert, which again, was very good.

Has a roast lunch. Vegetables were cold and put under luke warm roast beef. Dessert was lovely though. Friendly service and staff were lovely to deal with. Unfortunately food was sub standard.

I took my family for Sunday lunch the service was good as was the food. The adults had roasts which were well presented but the garlic was overpowering.

Great foood, excellent service! Fish, steak an burgers were all equally great, just a shame that the kitchen had run out of chateaubriand, but still a great dinner!

Quality pub down a quiet street off busy Clapham high street, great atmosphere, friendly service and a lovely Sunday roast. Would go again and again

Service was great and the food was good value for money but it arrived within 5 minutes of ordering it and was served on cold plates and therefore went cold very quickly after it arrived at our table.

Hi there Having not been to the Stonhouse in years, I was looking forward to going back. We ordered a main and pudding, and the main came out very quickly considering it was a roast, and so wondered if it had been sitting under a hot plate for a while. It was hot and tasty so that didn't bother us too much. We then choose our puddings an waited approx. 40 mins for this to arrive, having to ask the waitress twice where it was. The puddings then arrived, only to find that 2 out of the 3 Blackberry and Apple Crumbles were cold right through. So we sent these back and waited a further 5 mins, by which point those who had the right puddings had finished. I felt the lunch wasn't the best and there was no question that the Stonhouse would take money off for the wait of the puddings, or the incorrect temperature of the puddings. Also the acoustics weren't great sitting in the middle of the room, so not sure if I would go back in a hurry.

Service was lovely but the food was slightly disappointing. We order steak and the pork belly and the steak came overdue and the pork belly was underdone - it wasn't crispy just chewing fat. I wouldn't repeat in a hurry.

A great place for a Sunday lunch. Great roasts and burgers. The service was exceptional and even though a party of 20 ordered just before us, the food came up quickly and was delicious!
