Haven't had a Sunday lunch there before & it was very very delicious. Great atmosphere but that might have had something to do with the rugby!

Dined with a friend for Sunday roast, food was delicious and reasonably priced. Was able to book a couple of hours before which is handy for last minute Sunday roasts.

Poor service. We sat and watched our bottle of wine and glasses sit on the bar for 5 mins while bored member of staff stood beside it - had to go and collect it for ourselves! Went to the Tommyfield because local residents we all given a £50 voucher to woo back their custom which only confirmed why we don't go there any more.

Busy pub with nice atmosphere and good menu choice. Tasty and well presented food. The Tomyfield offers good value for money, with efficient and friendly service.

I have always been a big fan of The Tommyfield and now it's my local. Really enjoyed my steak there tonight. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Obviously, I'll be back.

Food and service weren't up to the usual good standard. Turkey for the main course was quite dry and lacked flavour. Hopefully it's just a blip as usually the food is much better.

Sunday lunch - food quality was very good, it was hot, very tasty and the beef was of the best quality. Nice friendly service. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our meal at the Tommyfield. The Seasonal additions to the menu are fantastic. It's a great place for a relaxed meal with friends

Went for dinner on Sunday night. Had a Turkey Ballotine which was excellent. Vegetables were fresh and not overcooked. Apple and Raspberry crumble for dessert was surprisingly light - just right. Only criticism was that the service was a bit inattentive - there were some waits in between drinks and courses. Overall a very good experience.

I'm a regular visit to the tommy Field especially mid week as with a taste card you can get a fillet steak for £10.50 and it tastes GREAT! The pies are also reliably amazing.

I went for a quick bite to eat on my own. Was given the choice of a table or dining at the bar. I choose the bar as I was dining alone and was more comfortable at the bar. Excellent service. Lovely food.

As we were staying here overnight (accommodation very good) decided to arrange Sunday evening reunion meal with friends. Staff happy to wait for delayed guests to arrive. Friendly enough staff but slow service. Waited long time for drinks/wine to be served, eventually went to bar to request. Shared platter starter so slow in coming we thought it had been forgotten. Pies were liked but fish average, peas only warm and roast turkey dry. One disappointing dessert, so returned it, which staff handled well. Overall disappointing first visit with mediocre food but good atmosphere and we still enjoyed our evening.

Good, steak was exceptionally good. Will go back again (especially for quiz night). Pies also look amazing, especially the wild boar use with mash potato.

Great food!! right in the centre of Kennington. Great beers and wines. There is also a great pub quiz every Tuesday (which we didn't win!)

Food was good, however there was a bit of a wait. Staff on the other hand was a letdown as they didn't communicate well with each other; when we walked in we told the waitress that we had a reservation and were seated promptly in her session. A couple of minutes later we were approached by quite a rude waiter who told us with a condescending tone that: this table is for eating customers only. The waitress was good, but the visit was spoiled slightly by the aggressive waiter. Wine was good and food nice as well.

Booked a table as they were Celebrating Pies in March - "our pubs will be offering even more incredible pies than usual, including wild boar, rabbit and chorizo; or sweet potato, kale and feta filo for those looking for something a little lighter." So it was rather disappointing for the vegetarian member of the group to find no choice of pie for her on this particular day. Also we picked a bad day for a meal as it turned out there was football on a large screen, so it was rather noisy and hard to hear each other. The food and service was good though.

I had not been to the Tommyfield in a while because of the bad service received on my many previous visits. It's a shame as the food is always amazing. I have been back twice in as many weeks and the service has lately been spot on. They've got me back as a regular

Delicious food, particularly the whole baked Camembert. Busy atmosphere with the football on which was slightly distracting, but would definitely recommend for weekend lunches if there isn't too much football on

Waited 45 minutes for our food order. No cutlery on the table when food was delivered. All the floor and kitchen staff seemed to be on auto pilot, no sense of urgency. My worst experience at The Tommyfield for sure and I usually rave about the place.

Been here many times and always left very happy. All the food is great value particularly the roasts, and the pies are second to none! In fact I have yet to find anything at all in the menu that I wasn't entirely happy with. It's also a great relaxed family environment, so ideal if you have kids. They often have the football on over the weekend which isn't obtrusive so I wouldn't let that put you off.
