Lovely bohemian venue with great music, out of this world steak and cocktails with a kick!

We had a pre theatre meal at this restaurant. Service was quick, efficient. The food was hot and beautifully cooked and presented. We were a group of 4 and we all enjoyed our meal very much. My husband and I shared a chicken dish and there was too much for us to eat. Very good value for money.

Food was ok but not worth a special trip and the inside is in need of a good clean and re paint.

Really crammed in our seats... Lots of people in one space... But food and service exceeded expectations.

Great Atmosphere. Friendly staff. The wine menu was really comprehensive covering New world and old world wines. We ordered some starters which were delicious - particularly the pate.

Wine was disappointing, particularly in terms of quality versus pice and need more wines at the lower to mid end of the list. Total bill was far too expensive for a venue with is nice but relatively basic in terms of decor and customer experience. On plus side, friendly staff, buzzy atmosphere and nice food. Good live music.

I arrived on time for brunch and even tho they were quite busy I was sat at a table almost immediately. Unfortunately the table had not been cleared and cleaned yet. It took about 20 minutes for someone to come along and get it straightened out. The clearer appologised and stated it should have been completed prior to my seating. We ordered drinks and food but were warned that due to amount of people it could take some time for our food to come out. I was preparing to catch a flight so I had to start watching the time closely. Surprisingly our food came out a short time later hot and fresh. We all had the full breakfast meal and enjoyed it very much. It did take some time after to flag down our server for the check but overall a very good experience. I would like to eat here again and try something else on the menus. The decor could use some sprucing up as all the cushions we sat upon were split with their innards coming out. All in all though the restaurant has a really cool feel to it and people seem to like it as it was the only place in a 5 block radius that was full of people.

Great night out. Food good, wine good, if a little expensive. We were a group working in London for the weekend and wanted somewhere informal with good food. The Troubadour delivered. We also had great service from a slightly whacky waitress. Fun.

Expensive, rude staff, food microwaved.. At least the space is pleasant. Would not recommend it for dinner.

Love the atmosphere at The Troubadour and they have the best chicken ever - Chicken Soleil - highly recommended. Friendly service, quirky and unusual décor. Only slight draw back is the service can sometimes be slow as they are always so busy. Despite that a fun night out and live music downstairs - to be recommended!

Very relaxed environment, friendly and knowledgable wait staff, food of exceptional quality, large servings. Always an enjoyable experience. Especially love the tranquility ofthe garden out the back, when the evening permits.
