We regularly eat at The Waterside as we live close by. This visit was as good as ever, friendly attentive service, great food and atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

Always met by friendly staff who couldn’t have done more to welcome us and made sure the dogs had water, we had drinks and a lovely table when it came to lunch. Loved the menu which has a mix of traditional dishes and some more unusual Ones. Food excellent and good value in a lovely setting

It was very busy when we arrived and it felt as though the staff were rushing us on. Specials were told to my husband only (i had nipped to the bathroom) Waiter seemed impatience while we were deciding on food choices. Food out very quickly after ordering and very little time between courses. Not until dessert menus came out did we have a bit of time but we choose to enjoy a winevand send the waiter away when asked if ready to order. Food was tasty, my prawn starter was disappointing brochie was stale and tiny prawns. Main course and dessert both delicous (mussels and trifle) my husband realky enjoyed the goats chees starter, surf n turf special and crumble for dessert. Overall satisfactory but service poor

Stunning day. Beautiful location. Wonderful meal- seabass fillets, turmeric rice, mornay sauce with crispy kale - delicious! Followed by fab trifle.

Staff first class Service exceptional & food was Amazing Whole place spotless. I had battered fish and chips with onion rings my wife had breaded fish and chips. I must say hers was better than mine but both amazing. Will definitely will be back.
