I absolutely love this restaurant. I'm all about sustainability and minimising waste so this place is perfect for that because you pay for your plate by how much it weighs. So unlike all you can eat buffets, it encourages you to be mindful of what you are putting on your plate instead of just piling it up and then throwing loads away. It's more of a treat place for me as it can be pricey but the food is always delicious and worth the price tag!

Great tasting food. Shame no custard. Good ambience. Staff helpful.

The staff were friendly and polite, very pleasant feel in the conservatory where we sat for hours. Very good choice of hot and cold food and loved the concept of paying by weight which meant little wastage. The roast parsnip and sweet potato dish was gorgeous as was the bread and butter pudding. Have been recommending to all my friends and family.

Had lovely lunch with old friends. Just the perfect place to meet up; loads of choice of delicious food and we could each have as little or as much as we wanted. Self service meant we didn't get interrupted or hurried at all. Thanks

Really lovely fresh vegetarian food, beautiful presentation. Lovely peaceful ambience on a Friday evening. Swedish tofu balls in a red wine sauce were the only blip. Everything else superb.

An excellent place for a vegetarian or vegan meal. I'm not vegetarian, but one of our group was vegan. If I lived nearby, I would become a regular visitor.

Interesting and tasty choice of hot dishes and salads. Very nice staff who helped carry my tray (due to foot injury). Good location behind Tate Modern.

Tibits is one of my favourite veggie/vegan restaurants in London. The food is delicious and the staff is always friendly. The dried green beans are the best!

A fantastic vegan restaurant and we love the weigh and pay idea - what a great way to just pay for what you want to eat, more restaurants should take on this method. Food is full of taste and so much variety, fabulous for vegans, vegetarians and everyone really. I took 3 non-vegans and they all absolutely loved it!

Always such a great variety for vegans and I love the fact that they have some returning classics as well as changing some to keep it exciting.

The meal and service was outstanding, and this new to us restaurant was a great discovery. Given its proximity to Tate Modern I'll dine here regularly during my frequent trips to London.

Nice place, friendly staff, great choice of food! Some good, some not, but you can design your plate yourself. I will definitely recommend the place.

Our group of 11 friends enjoyed a very relaxed evening, with great veg & vegan food, and no complaints from the non-veg people. The desserts were yummy too. Lovely friendly staff.

It was nice that everyone could enjoy so much choice, we vary from meat eater, to vegan to sugar and gluten free. Can't tell you enough how nice it was to have a staff meal were everyone had good choice and a hearty plate of food fuss free!

Great evening at a good looking venue, food was amazing, we all ate too much. I even got my friend's husband, who was not that keen on vegetables, to eat loads, When we left the restaurant, he was telling his wife, she needed to learn to make delicious food like this.

This was our second visit to Tibits Bankside. Very nice setting. Good food. Excellent service. Good value for money. We particularly like the pay by weight formula.

Such a useful place, such good food. The format, with a central delicious buffet with many many choices, allows for a relaxed evening with friends. Simple fuss-free payment system by weight. Not too busy and not too noisy and lovely staff. Desserts could be better.

Lovely informal atmosphere and decor. Went as a large group, which Tibits is ideal for. Food choice was fantastic and good quality. It's always reassuring seeing the chef regularly change around the food and ensuring it's fresh.

Great experience for a non-vegan and non-vegetarian. Extremely pleasant, cheerful, and welcoming staff. No hassle as to how long we stayed, and above all the delicious food. The only slight niggle was in the cost of £1.70 for a small portion (7 small pieces) of unripe melon, but that was partly my fault for taking it as I knew it didn't look ripe. Overall highly to be recommended.

we had an excellent experience. The booking process was very other and effective. From arrival to leaving the restaurant staff were wrlcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We had overseas visitors with us who loved the ambience and the meal. They have already posted glowing recommendations to other friends.

Excellent vegetarian restaurant with wide range of menu choices and good drinks menu. Very pleasant interior and nice conservatory. Friendly service. We liked the concept of a buffet and paying by weight. Also a good range of vegan dishes. All in all, a very enjoyable experience, and we are definitely coming back!

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Tibits bankside. Sat in the glass covered conservatory and the reserved table was exactly as requested. I would have scored the restaurant full marks but I did have to wait quite a while for one of the hot dishes which had run out to be replenished - in the overall scheme, this was a fairly minor issue. Great choice of self-service hot and cold vegetarian foods at the buffet with extensive drinks menu, some of which were quite unusual.

I’ve been to tibits a few times over the past year as a group of 6-10 people. It’s been great every time- excellent choice of food, especially as a gluten free vegetarian with clear labels by each dish. Nice drinks and desserts too. The only thing I’d suggest improving is being able to weigh your plate before you go to the till as you pay by weight. Atmosphere is also nice. Very relaxed and quiet enough to hear each other talk in a relatively large group and I’ve never felt like we’ve been rushed out once we’ve finished eating.

Delicious vegan choices. Unfortunately we were sat next to a large raucous party in the echoey glassed area so couldn't hear the conversation on our table.

Came here for a team lunch. Great selection of foods and something for everyone that I brought with me - there were gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan dishes. Will be returning!

Was so excited to try this restaurant and the food was very good. However there was a mix up with labelling so that a non-vegan cheesecake was labelled as a vegan pudding and it wasn’t until I’d eaten it and asked at the till about it that the problem was identified. Mistakes happen but what was worse was the managers dismissive attitude and failure to offer anything beyond a vague apology.

Always good and much nicer and quieter than the Heddon branch. Better food and ambience. But there is still an issue of paying for food and ordering drinks and waiting for ages at the till whilst the food gets cold. They must speed up the process somehow.. it's especially bad at the other branch but I guess its busier

Lovely food. Great selection of vegan choices. It was a very hot weather but the restaurant was cool and spacious and nice quiet ambience. Wasn’t sure how much it would all cost but £100 for 6 of us seemed very reasonable for London.

Fantastic food and service. Would visit again for sure. Convenient table booking system on Quandoo. The Matcha green iced latte was phenomenal. Will come back

I've been several times at Tibits Southbank, always a great experience! A wide choice of vegetarian meals, suitable for different diets (vegan, gluten free, etc). Make sure you leave space for deserts, they are amazing! For larger groups, there is a private room downstairs; cosy informal athmosphere.

Great atmosphere, great place and amazing food! Tibits Bankside is always clean and almost all of their dishes are vegan. The outside garden area is the best.

Very good food and ambience, only slightly spoilt by a waitress who couldn't wait to get us out and close up. She started telling us service was stopping and clearing the table 40 minutes before the actual closure and cleared the table twice more! Not a very relaxing end to our meal. If Tibits are going to be so strict about time I think they should warn you on booking.
