Girl we were served by was great couldn’t be any nicer if she tried I don’t think forgot to catch her name but was nice to be served by someone so friendly

We were in a small side dining room for our party of 9 which was excellent as the noise was kept to a minimum; the service and food was great; the atmosphere in the place overall was very good, with efficient staff ensuring we had everything we needed and all with a smile.

Main courses returned because food was barely warm. Replacements no better. We were compensated with free desserts. Disappointed on this visit, first time for Sunday lunch Previous evening visit excellent hence returned for lunch.

We had the standard sharing steak platter which was perfect in every way. We will try the Wagyu platter next time to compare, though how Wagyu can possibly improve on what we’ve already had will be quite an accomplishment. It was a fantastic venue with lovely welcoming staff. Thank you.

Just had an amazing over night stay at the tomahawk potto. Amazing food, literally the nicest steak I have ever had!! Lots of choices for sides and sauces to accompany them too!! We both found our sauces on the thin side but packed with taste and flavour. Room 3 was gorgeous!!! Clean tidy and very comfortable! Huge bed! Beautiful bathroom with a great shower! Nice touches like good variety of tea and coffee, also good array of toiletries. Breakfast was as amazing as the meal the night before!! Only negative thing we have to say is that building work started at 9am!! 2 doors down really loud drilling!! This was a shame as we were both still asleep!! Check out wasn't until 11am and we even put out the do not disturb!! I understand maintenance needs to happen but a heads up would of been nice!! Or better wait until the guest have checked out!!

Second visit within 10 days and again, it did not disappoint. Change to menu, mainly to starters and sides, saw some great additions. Mussels where a nice start to a blue porterhouse. Di’s fillet was really to her liking. Service and atmosphere brilliant as usual, can’t wait to return.

Ran out of the steak we wanted so that was a shame but apart from that food was good

Fully enjoyed my meal, best steak I’ve had will 100% be returning. However, was unaware of the service charge already added on there was only two of us so not happy about that as we double tipped. A service charge should only apply to a larger party
