Excellent food, brilliant service and a vibrant atmosphere make this a mus tvisit restaurant. One of the first places on my wish list when catching up with friends or for dates.

I took my parents there when they visited. We had a fantastic meal and fantastic service and great drinks. What more could you ask for. .

If you’re a Food and drink lover this is the place to be. Food is deliciously and freshly sourced. Great choice of daily specials too. TOTA never disappoints!

Food was excellent but the cocktails were not good at all and service was a little slow. Overall I will definitely come back but this time I'll just order wine instead. Again - Very good food!

Very busy restaurant, luckily we’d booked. We didn’t have to wait long for our food which was delicious We also had great service . We’ll definitely be back

We went on Valentine's day. The staff and restuarant itself were really lovely, however service was a little slow and it was a set 3 course menu, which wasn't clear on the website - and then we were served four courses and so had to pay for one - a bit odd. Starters were delicious!

The restaurant was very welcoming and good menu choice. The baked Brie was excellent but the accompaniments of the lamb dish were all a bit too on the purée side as the only negative.

Amazing! Recommending to everyone- delicious food and incredible cocktails. Not to mention the service was amazing. A real, local gem in Tooting that would be worth the trip from anywhere.

What a long wait we experienced! Food order was taken an hour and fifteen minutes after arrival! We weren’t given the correct cutlery, there was not enough glasses, our cocktail order was incorrect and the desserts had almost all be sold out. But... the food was excellent! What a shame about the service!

Tip top night on of Tooting’s finest. Friendly service - lobster cocktail to die for & criminally delicious veal chop all washed down with great company & prosecco!

Delicious food, nice setting, and attentive service. The steak I consumed was delightfully tender. The beer selection was solid if small. The daily changing menu is exciting, but also makes planning a little tricky (especially if visiting with individuals with specific catering requirements). Nevertheless, these are very minor quibbles, and overall Tota is very good and worth a trip.

We visited on a Friday evening and the place was bustling but not overly busy. The service was friendly, the food was great and the Bloody Marys were amazing! Will definitely return.

Food was nice. Service felt a little rushed and flustered, food came out fast which was fine but we was only in their an hour. Would have preferred to take our time.

Good Tuesday night half price ribs and steak service always good as is the food. Well worth a visit if you are in the area

Very slow service. Took 30 minutes for our drink and food order to be taken then a further 20mins for it to arrive. When it did arrive some of the order was missing. Was told they would bring over but never did. It looked like there was only 1 waitress for the whole restaurant which is crazy. Won't be going back

We visited on a Tuesday which was great as it was half price steak and ribs night. My ribs were very tasty and the steak was fine. My only negative was that the service was a bit slow as we had to wait a while between finishing the starter to receiving our main with our dirty plate left on the table.

Amazing food which is great value for money and so tasty. It is worth the trip to Tooting just to go here. Great service which is very friendly and interactive. It is a pleasure eating here

Excellent evening. Having previously had great brunch experiences here I decided to try a different meal of the day this time. Went for dinner with a friend and the staff were friendly, the drinks were great and the food was delicious. The options were excellent and seasonal and I struggled to decide what to have! I highly recommend this place.

I’ve always really liked Tota but the service lets it down a bit. We waited ages for our drinks, only to find out they didn’t have any stock of the wine we’d asked for and we didn’t get given the wine list again so picked out of thin air. The mains and sides arrived at different times and they didn’t have the dessert we wanted (but it was still listed on the chalk board). Apart from that it was lovely.

All round great service and food. Even though it was busy we weren't hurried off our table which was great for a Friday night!

Great food and good value. We took advantage of the Tuesday offer for half price steak/ribs if you buy a drink - this includes soft drinks and alcohol.

Very friendly and attentive service. Food good. Lots of specials on offer, may have been easier to have a printed list of these attached to the menu as the board is a bit tucked away.

A really great friendly restaurant. The service is attentive and the menu a good mix of regular menu plus a decent range of specials. The wine list is small but well chosen and there is a range of cocktails available at the bar to liven things up. There is a relatively small number of covers that adds to the intimacy without feeling at all claustrophobic. I would highly recommend it.

Incredible food, lovely Montepulciano wine, very attentive service, a really lovely evening. The only thing that detracted from our enjoyment was the high noise level, firstly from a table of patrons, & later from the music.

Such a great restaurant, very tasty freshly prepared food! Have been for breakfasts, lunch and dinners and everytime was so good! Try it you won’t be disappointed.

We had a wonderful meal - every dish excellent, including braised shoulder of lamb that was amazing, enormous steaks, done just right, beautifully fresh fish cooked to perfection. Excellent service, too. A real treat.

Fantastic food and the service was excellent, couldn't recommend enough! A person in our party couldn't eat dairy so the waitress went through every bit of the menu and even offered to change some ingrediants where possible to make it dairy free. A lovely independent gem of a place. Will definitely go again!!

The service was fantastic , even though the resturant was busy we didn't have to wait long for our food, which was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

This restaurant has the best food I have ever eaten. Treat yourself to a NEgroni too. The service is great and the front of house manager makes you feel like she is just there for you.
