Great Staff, great ambience but more over excellent food! My fish was delicately cooked and served with gorgeous samphire, veg and new potatoes. Guests burger and tuna were raved about. We have already booked to go backed there again this month

My girlfriend and ibwent to Tota afta staying away frim there fir a while and when we did go back found the atmosphere staff and food absolutely great we had a mixed starter (a small bit if everything) and for main the côte de boeuf a sharing plate this meal qas woundeefull.

We had lunch on a Friday at Tota. Food was very good, although we were disappointed on arrival that they did not have their full menu on (their website had given the impression that the dinner menu was available at lunch). The service was excellent, attentive but not pushy. We had a great lunch and will definitely be back to try the main menu!

Great menu. We shared the cote de boeuf. Cooked perfectly and medium rare with all the sides you'd want and more. There was so much food! Super friendly team there as well.

This is the second time I have been to Tota and I think it is probably the best restaurant in Tooting! The food is fabulous - heart warming and delicious, great service & cocktails.

We were very disappointed with the lack of refinement in the lunch menu. From the website I expected something very much more elegant on offer. Seemed to be much stodge and little fresh vegetable options

Great service, delicious food, fab atmosphere. Will be going back to try some of the other dishes, and will try to leave room for dessert!

The food was pretty average considering the price. Service was slow and fairly haphazard. I wonder if they were just having a bad day as delivery has always been good.

Great neighbourhood restaurant. Professional and friendly staff, nice atmosphere and excellent food. Tuesday 2 for 1 steak night amazing value but well priced generally. We'll be back.

Unique menu with an endless list of specials day after day. Well situated, prompt and pleasant service, great atmosphere and delicious food here! Highly recommended.

The food was great - fresh, seasonal and very generous portions. The service was prompt and friendly. The venue had a nice atmosphere. Definitely coming here again.

The food was amazing, me and my partner genuinely believed it was the best we had in a while!! The service too made us feel special yet the atmosphere was lovely and chilled. Can't wait to go back, next time I would need to try one of those espresso martinis another melted camembert starter!! Already planning my visit :)

I have to be absolutely honest - this is our favourite local restaurant! I love the food, the welcome we get and the ambiance. It's where we feel at home.

Great atmosphere, Great Food, Fantastic staff. Not many places can combine those three, and its not stupidly expensive. They squeezed eight of us in without a booking a couple of weekends ago, when a lot of places would have turned us away. That was our first time and we went back this weekend (having booked!) and the experience was just the same. So add consistency to the three magic ingredients above. Go Tota!

Awesome food, awesome staff. This place come highly recommended and I can why. The food was exceptional, large portions and delicious. Good atmosphere with very friendly staff.

Had a very tasty filling vegetarian burger. Delcious hot chocolate. Nice and warming on a chilly day. Topped off with great customer service! The lady was very accommdating when I forgot my pin number. Can definately recommend.

One of my favourite places in Tooting. On a Tuesday - their happy hour, coupled with half price steak or ribs, is a winning combination. You'll be well looked after and the food is always outstanding.

Another excellent meal. The service was slick, the freshly cooked food, tasty. Although there was only one vegetarian main (Chiles rellenos), my daughter thought it delicious. Two bottles of wine, two courses: £35.00. We shall be back.

The menu was seasonal and well thought out. The duck dumplings as a starter was the best I've had ! For mains I was tempted by the steak but as it was Friday I went for the Dover Sole and it was delicious . The cocktails were appetising although on the small size compared to other places. Really nice atmosphere and great for meeting up with friends, when is what I'm going to do! With the busy kitchen, I do think the fumes fobtravrl out to the dining area and this is an area to invest in. Definitely best new I've had this year!

Excellent value for money with the half price steak. Cooked as requested and friendly service. Will definitely be returning to try some of their other dishes too!

The menu is so good you want one of everything, the service is excellent the lady that owns it has such passion and makes sure you are enjoying yourself, really great atmosphere - they've nailed it.

It was busier than a usual Friday night, however this did not effect our night whatsoever. The food and wine were amazing as usual and the staff are great. We'll continue to come back to Tota.

Great venue and food however the music was an odd choice for a restaurant and even though we were a group of youngish ladies (circa 35) we found it too loud and had to ask for it to be turned down twice in order that we could have a conversation. Good value for money with the Tuesday 1/2 price steak and ribs offer and also cheap cocktails available from £4.

Consistently brilliant food, service and atmosphere - the locally grown courgette flower, pork belly and tuna special were particular favourites and the mini donuts rounded off our meal beautifully :)

Always a great welcome. Great selection of specials (if you are quick enough) and lovely wine selection. Never been disappointed with the food or service.

Tota offers fantastic and creative food. The staff are friendly and welcoming as well. Such a great place just for a few cocktails or a full 3 course meal, a must go!

Lovely fresh and seasonal ingredients made it a tough choice betweeen the standard menu and the specials. First time visitor, but we are sure to be back.

We are regulars at this restaurant and food as always was excellent, made even better by 1/2 price steak night! We will be back again soon!

Fixed price menu is great value, food is fresh and good quality. Also has daily specials, which are definitely worth trying Staff are very friendly and welcoming

The food is great as is the service - love this place! Their filled donuts were so tasty. You have to try their steak night on a Tuesday night.

A great meal, but it could be improved by the service being a bit more proactive e.g. we've ordered steak with chips and two orders of ribs with chips (both excellent). It would be nice to see them bringing out a steak knife, ketchup/ mayo etc BEFORE the food arrives and we then sit waiting for them to go back and forth while the food goes cold. Can't fault the food, but service could step up a notch!

Went for belated father's day - benefitted from happy hour and steak night - food and service all pretty great - only niggle - dessert seemed to take ages

We spent a very nice evening at Tota , it was a pleasant , lively atmosphere and has a good varied menu . Service very good too

A really good place to have great food and company.

This is one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I have ever had. Poor service, rude staff and chewy steak. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and were so excited to be going to Tota. We made our reservation online and arrived promptly for our 8pm booking. When we entered, we were ignored for a while (though it was busy so we understand this). We were pointed to a table (not shown to) which was so wobbly that drinks were tipping over. We asked the waitress to wedge it to stop this, which she tried feebly with a tissue to little avail, then gave up and just left us there. We asked to move which was accommodated (later on they sat another couple down there who also asked to move). At the new table, it took 20 minutes for them to offer us the opportunity to order, 45 mins to get a drink and over an hour for the starter to even appear. The starter was very tasty, but when the main eventually showed up the steak was chewy and cheap and certainly not worth the money they charge (even on half price steak night). When we got the bill, a 10% service charge had been added. When my boyfriend asked for it to be removed the staff member was rude about it (clearly in a huff) and demanded an explanation. When she was told that the service had been slow and pretty rude she came up with a barrage of excuses and dismissed the criticism (which she asked for in the first place!). We left disappointed, £65 down and a ruined night. I certainly will never visit there again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Lovely food, and even lovelier staff. The specials menu was a great addition to standard menu. Cocktail selection great. The beer on draft was so good, too. Who we assumed was the manageress or owner made our visit a delight.

Great asset to the neighbourhood - a lovely meal last weekend with my family -delicious food and friendly helpful service. Just could have done with the windows shutting, as the September sun went down and the temperature dropped.

Great atmosphere and great service. Lovely buzz about the place for a Tuesday evening. The steak was FANTASTIC and the special red wine was a great accompaniment. Fantastic value.

Delicious - had the sirloin steak, very tasty and lovely atmosphere. Staff were nice too and all around good meal. Will definitely be going back soon.
