We had a delicious meal and excellent service. The flavours were wonderful and the presentation good. The portions were generous and good value for money.

Excellent food, just about the right variety of options, friendly staff and the kids can play without anyone being annoyed. Above all, very happy tummies ;-)

Family gathering again for the Sunday buffet at Veer Dhara: terrific food to suit 5 yrs to 77 yrs, in a lively atmosphere with charming waiters.

Excellent food and service. The restaurant was a bit crowded with lots of children, but over Diwali, this is expected. The floor show was excellent.

Staff could have been more polite. 2 hour slot rule was new for us as we were told that we can’t have dessert as we had only 2 hours to finish our meal and go. I understand that few people arrived late but still it’s unacceptable to say 2 hrs up and we need the table. I wouldnt want to come again with a large group. Shame! We all enjoyed the food but wish staff could have been more professional.

I have no complaints about the food, it was very tasty. However the service was slow, we waited about an hour for the main course. It seems they were busy with take out and delivery orders which meant the service in the restaurant was slow. No apologies from the staff either. Will probably not return to this restaurant, there are plenty of other venues in St Albans to try!

It was a Sunday buffet and usually don’t like buffets but this was really good and will go again! The price was also very good.

Very good food and nice place. Could have been better with parking . A bit of a wait for a table but it was worth it.

Went for cocktails first as website says vibrant cocktail bar at centre of restaurant- no such thing, walked out, went elsewhere- had much nicer experience at Chez Mumtaj

I thought it would be just another Indian restaurant, but wow. So much choice in the menu- especially for me as a pescatarian! The service was amazing and friendly. The food was flawless in flavour and tasted fresh.

Service and food quality excellent, even on the busiest of Friday evenings. Fish Amritsari, Laal Maans, Daal highly recommended. And do try the exclusive Cobra Malabar draught beer.

Wanted a change from the traditional Sunday roast and certainly wasn’t disappointed by my decision to try the Indian buffet on offer. It was delicious 😋

Ver Dhaka was recommended to us by friends and we were not disappointed. We had the Veggie set menu for £24.95 pp which was great value for money. The food was tasty and in ample proportions. Will definitely go back there again.

We really enjoyed our evening at Veer Dhara. The samosas were a great choice and all four curry dishes were enjoyed by my guests. This is certainly somewhere hat we will eat again.

My family and I had the buffet lunch today. The food was fantastic, really enjoyable experience with great food and service. Will be returning very soon.

Appalling food! If you like Heinz tomato sauce then you are in luck! Starters were ok, mains were horrendous!! Rude host. Shame, th3y could do so much better!

Excellent food. The best Indian selection I have tasted in a long time. The server cecwas great and masala coke is THE BEST! Try it!

Such a lovely place to go,staff were so lovely & couldn't do enough for you, food was amazing,will definitely be going back there again soon.

There were several issues. Despite the restaurant being full, they tried to reject us for having the groupon voucher. What was worst was a missed opportunity to showcase their tasting menu, there was no written menu, scant if any description of the food and mostly it was dumped on the table in big clumps rather than the promised 13 courses. In terms of the decor, a big oblong room with too much too large furniture and no soft furnishings made for a very noisy environment rather like a canteen. What a waste of an opportunity, I thoroughly recommend staying away.

Authentic Indian and best curry house in St Albans. Sunday lunch for the family was a buffet so everyone could pick and choose. All beautifully hot and and tasty. Service as ever welcoming and caring.
