Mothers Day meal for 9. Food all came out together - everyone really enjoyed themselves.

Unfortunately the meal I wanted was not on the menu but they offered to do it for me. Unfortunately they added chillies to the dish which I had not asked for! I was unable to eat much of it! They did offer me an alternative however and the staff were very nice.

The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is really good. The food was out of this world we ate from the 3 course menu and was excellent value for money along with a bottle of wine. Fantastic

when I arrived there was a welcome, the service was very good we was not rushed plenty of time to relax and enjoy

Great food, we would have given a 6 but unfortunately each time we have used our Gourmet Society card there is an issue, there is a dispute between the restaurant and Gourmet Society apparently about whether it's 25% off the food or total bill.

We had a lovely meal here last week, the food was delicious and there was a very romantic atmosphere. One of Stourbridge’s best independent restaurants.

The food was excellent. Maybe a little bit pricey on the starters . That was the only negative but we will definitely be going back

The restaurant was clean and bright inside. The staff were friendly and attentive. Food arrived quickly and was well presented, but the quality was average. Overall, a nice restaurant.

We've been here a few times and ti's nice to see that it has been redecorated. The lighting is still very bright which does not add to the ambience. I wish that they would add a few more vegetarian/vegan options to their menu as I have tried them all and it's a bit boring. Weekend prices are quite high,

4 of us, all retired, chose from the fixed price menu.(3 course, 21.95) Fòod choices were very comprehensive. All 4 of us had different meals. None of us could fault anything. Service, food quality, presentation & portion size. Parking was easy in the small car park just behind the restaurant.

Vesuvio restaurant is in a good location easily accessed and there is street parking close by. We had good food, it was a nice atmosphere and excellent service. What’s not to like?!

The Boxing Day lunch was delicious. It was my son's birthday and so the staff decorated the table and brought his dessert out with a candle in it and sang happy birthday to him. The staff were friendly and the whole dining experience was very pleasurable. Thank you very much Vesuvio.

Restaurant was nice, service friendly. My wife’s duck was a bit tough and the sauce for my dish too rich for my taste; I had an upset stomach after, which may or may not have been related to the sauce.

We have eaten here quite a few times . Usually for special occasions and we have never been let down. The staff are all friendly and helpful without being over attentive.And the restaurant itself is clean and tastefully decorated with plenty of room between table's to preserve privacy. The food is always excellent as beffiting a special occasion and my favourite tirimasu is on the menu. Prices are fairly reasonable compared to other higher end restaurants I have visited.

The value and quality of food was very good but the lighting was a bit harsh, meaning the ambience was not what it could have been!

Lovely cosy restaurant, very intimate. Friendly staff made us feel very welcome. The food was presented tastefully and it lived up to the presentation. Small portions but totally sufficient, especially when indulging in three courses. We will certainly be going back.

Excellent service , most food excellent - steak only ok , but says amazing Good ambiance , although music a bit dodgy - piano medley ! Will defo go back

An evening with two friends to celebrate their recent birthdays, very local to us, so it suited very well. A very reasonable menu (although it didn't look as though it had changed in a long time), with some inviting choices. We opted to have the set 3 course menu with prosecco and struggled to settle with just one of the choices for each course - mouthwatering! The waiter was attentive without being intrusive, but that wouldn't be difficult really as we were the only diners there all night, which was slightly off putting as there was no atmosphere in a big empty restaurant! Don't know why it was so quiet, the food and the setting is good? The portion size was just perfect for us ladies, but perhaps someone with a larger appetite might want more. Would go there again.

Went for Sunday lunch yesterday. Very attentive staff, good food, great value. Lamb chops were cooked to perfection . Good choice on the set menus too which was very cheap at around £15 for two courses!

Lovely restaurant, great service and very nice food. It wasn’t busy when we were there, we think we booked at an early hour. Would definitely go again and book for a later time.

Although the decor was ok, there was no atmosphere. The service was good and attentive and the food tasted nice but, overall, it wasn’t our ideal date night. We won’t be going back.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. Not the cheapest meal/wine in Stourbridge, but the overall experience was worth the money. Good décor, friendly staff and good food.

Excellent three course meal including a glass of prosecco. Lovely atmosphere and good value. Enjoyed the salmon and lasagne and the tiramisu. Friendly, welcoming service.

The food was great, the service good. However no atmosphere as unfortunately a severe lack of clientele. We felt rather conspicuous ! A shame really.

Not worth the price, food served very quickly and can only mean it was ready made, dessert was horrendous. Would definitely not recommend visiting here.
