Love Victor’s...have been many times. Sushi rolls loved by all the family, kids’ menus great. Fun atmosphere - a spot for a celebration.

Great atmosphere. Very stylish. Only complaint - lousy for vegetarians. The same veggie pasta option has been on the menu since Victor's opened - a truffle pasta dish - very nice but time for a change. The veggie fried options are all fried in the same oil as the shell fish etc so not really good for veggies. Everyone else seems happy though!!

Amazing food. The best Sunday dinner I have experienced in a restaurant. Great service and really pleasant surroundings. Bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for.

The service was poor and the main course was cold when it arrived after a long wait. Although the main course was replaced the manager did not offer any recompense e.g. A free bottle of wine or discount on the meal. Instead we were presented with the full bill by the waiter. This was our first visit to the restaurant and even when we asked for coats to leave nothing was done. It was left to us to phone when we got home and speak to the manager and we had to ask him if he was prepared to do anything. We have arranged to come again on Monday 23rd to see if our experience will improve. Unfortunately we are now unable to make Monday because we have been invited to the opening of the new Cote restaurant in Hale on Monday, a few doors down from your restaurant. We would still like to try your restaurant again and hopefully our first experience is an isolted incident so we hope someone will contact us to re-arrange our visit. We eat out a lot so are always pleased to find good restaurants, hopefully we will have a good experience when we next visit you. Regards Rod Rees

I've been to Victors several times before and always had great service but my most recent trip (Tuesday 3rd January) was very different, don't get me wrong the food was amazing but the service wasn't. After our mains arrived no one came over to check whether the food was ok and we were wanting to order another drink but it took 20mins for some one to come over, when we asked for the bill we waited 10minutes before asking a different waitress which then took a further 15minutes. We said we weren't happy with the service and were choosing not to pay the service charge, she said she would see if she could get someone to take this off which she did but no manager came over to see what our issues were or to apologise. The lights were also dimmed and we didn't have a candle on our table so we're in near enough darkness and had to ask for a candle

Lovely atmosphere, great food, but the service was awful. The waitress was rude, clearly couldn't be bothered to help and kept getting things wrong- even when we said we were missing a side order, her response was, 'you didn't order it'. One of our party is pregnant and she was even questioning why they weren't drinking and pushing the wine menu at them saying 'surely you can have 1 glass'. Such as shame as the food and environment was exceptional.

We had a lovely meal celebrating our daughter's 7th Birthday. She had chosen Victor's after dining there last month. The wagyu burgers from the kid's menu are her favourite. I found the honeycomb that came with the dessert so yummy, but unfortunately as a result I have lost part of my tooth and filling from eating this, oh well. The customer service is very good and there's a good atmosphere.

Nice ambience, but the restaurant was very cold (toilets were freezing cold) plus we were sat next to the door with 2 young children & had to keep asking staff to close the door..not sure why we couldn't be moved as it was empty when we got there & still quiet by the time we left. Wasn't offered a child's menu-had to ask & Food wasn't too great either-everything was extremely salty. Was going to go back for the 50% offer in Jan but will not bother. Rather disappointed overall.

Service and ambiance was great and the food was lovely - just didn't read the reservation text but should have phoned up to confirm that we could have a specific seat. Will go back.

Excellent quality Sunday roast. Great service in a very relaxing atmosphere. Lamb was delicious and sticky toffee pudding was off the charts it was so good

Disappointed all round, had to chase drinks, not all of menu was available, food served at different times, very average food, you vote with your feet!

Dined with a friend on our birthday on the last day of the 50% January deal. This was the fourth time this month for me and the first time for my friend. On each occasion I have been surprised at the level of quality maintained throughout this offer. The service was excellent. Waitress was delightful and took the time to chat even though it was busy. Food super fresh and excellent quality as I had oysters, sushi and tuna tartare. Friend had crab salad and sea bass cooked to perfection...crispy skin and juicy flesh and the white wine was delicious so I was told. Great atmosphere. Well done Victors for great food and service with a personal touch from the general manager Richie that was really appreciated. Oh yes would Defiantly recommend !

Nice menu and quality food. Good service and busy atmosphere with character if a bit artificial. Local trendy spot for the "nouveaux riche" and attention seekers which fortunately does not detract from the excellent culinary experience. Only negative remark is the high music volume level which increased to deafening half way through the dinner. Dynamic music is great but not when it becomes unpleasantly ear piercing. Would be understandable if the place doubled up as a disco but it doesn't and as such lacks refinement. Still worth the visit.

Been to this restaurant a couple of times before so we thought it would be a good idea to go again to celebrate my birthday. After an ok start, service was abismal. There was nobody looking after our table. We had to ask for the wine twice; we never got our desserts menu even though we asked for it. after a 30 minute wait we gave up and requested the bill. And the quality of the food? Poor. The steak was not not cooked as requested and the spinach was too salty. The bill came with an apology of sorts and a small discount but my birthday meal was already ruined. I will not be going back to that grossly overpriced place again.

Great service and incredible Sunday dinner. The whole family thoeouglu enjoyed the whole experience. Staff were attentive, food was tasty and served really quickly and the gravy was yum!

Booked for my birthday lunch and could not be happier. Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff and the food was amazing!! Shall definitely be back in the not too distant future.

Waitress not conversant with the menu but generally good unobtrusive service. Lobster cocktail disappointing, too stodgy and tough. Also rather inappropriately served, prawn cocktail glass not suitable for this dish, not practical. Scallops good. Beef Wellington good. Chicken Paillard good. Blueberry and almond desert good but definitely needs a little more ice cream, this is the second time I've had this now and needs more goat's cheese ice cream. Buzzing atmosphere, lovely local restaurant.

Good food, sushi delicious and a lovely venue, however, slow service and unusual treatment by bar security staff. Made us feel very uncomfortable. Overall an okay experience but such a lovely venue could easily be so much better.
