About Yara

Yara serves delicious Lebanese and Syrian cuisine in a lovely setting on Oxford Road. Since 2009, the restaurant has been leading the charge in the area’s Middle Eastern dining scene, and is now a household name among Trafford foodies. Featuring a wide variety of warm and cold mezze, soups, mains, salads and desserts, the restaurant spoils diners with a multitude of incredible choices. From the main courses, we recommend the shawarma, the chicken kebab, the vegetable stew and the bamieh, a dish made with fresh okra and chunks of lamb cooked up in a zesty tomato sauce. For dessert, try the date bites, the sweet cheese or the classic baklava made with pistachio nuts. Yara is known to get busy, so make sure to book in advance for a table at this tasty Lebanese restaurant in Altrincham.

Beautiful food, as always! We dined early evening so it wasn't too busy, but there was still a healthy buzz and atmosphere! The staff were delightful!

We went on a Sunday afternoon and chose nine starters between us to eat meze style (two of us). The food was gorgeous and there was plenty of it! The staff were lovely (polite, helpful and very welcoming). We took our own wine. All in all it was great value for money and we will be back again...soon!

Great food as always. Excellent value for money and still bring your own. Service was also very good and we are now planning a birthday party at Yara as a result.

Fantastic food, friendly and funny staff. The food was amazing in terms of both quantity and quality and outstanding value for money. The restaurant was busy but we were never made to feel we were being ignored, or rushed. Would most definitely recommend, and will be returning.

Gorgeous food and great service as usual. Baba ganoush is a must have! Also great that you can bring your own wine if you wish, though Lebanese beers they sell are very nice and go well with the food.
