Excellent carvery and the midweek deal of 3 courses for £11.95 is well worth it

The food was fabulous. I’ve only had the carvery it was the best I’ve ever had. Meat, veg and potatoes all cooked to perfection. All staff friendly and helpful. Will be back when we’re next on holiday.

Lovely lunch here again... 2 weeks running!! Wot more could you ask for... Great food... Lovely staff.... Quieter today also!!

Staff were brilliant, food was cooked to perfection, clean tables, cutlery and napkins and the bathroom were spotless. Highly recommended a meal here

The food is very good and the surroundings are very clean and pleasant. The only down side is that too many people are crammed in , making it very difficult to move between the tables.

Lovely Sunday lunch, good selection of vegetables and meats! I opted for the beef, which you had 3 slices but Would have liked my meat sliced more thicker to actually taste it!!

Six of us Visited for daughters birthday . Carvery was excellent as usual , five choices of meats on !!!! Always good food and staff always helpful and polite .

Beautiful carvery as always. Our request for a suitable table for a disabled guest was met perfectly. The staff offered to help and were excellent.

First time visit, good selection of meats to choose from, I went for the beef and lamb my wife chose the beef and turkey,all of which were cooked perfectly, large selection of vegetables to occupy the meal, again all cooked perfectly, only small criticism was the drinks are expensive.

Great room which we were upgraded to by Adam at no extra cost,we had a 3 course meal which was quality,and a lovely breakfast. Thankyou Adam and staff for a lovely time,in which we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary.👍

Our first ever visit. Booked online easily and in at 1400 . On arrival we were greeted with , ‘we close at 3pm, if you want carvery then hurry if you want food from menu then you ave 5 mins to decide. ‘ the staff were pleasant just under instruction to close it seems . We quickly decided carvery and the food was lovely at the risk of not getting anything as this area everything closes at 1400 it seems and for a tourist town this seems crazy. Another couple arrive about 30mins after us and was turned away. The Resturant only appeared to have two other tables occupied while we were there. We were asked if all was well and if we wanted desert which we declined as for fear of upsetting the kitchen staff given they were closing. We left at 2.45pm with indigestion but a lovely carvery in fairness

Car park full had to wait 15 minutes for parking space and then had to park on the end of row.

Food was first class ..on level par with my own carvery

If you like Carvery then get yourself to the punch bowl. Amazing value for a very high quality 3 course meal. The beef from the Carvery is amazing.

The back ground music was ok, but as they had a wedding on at approx 7pm the disco start which meant we had 2 different kits if music. Might be best to turn the back ground music off when the disco starts. Still had a fabulous time & will be back.

Amazing value for money...the food was amazing! We chose 2 and 3 course meals as specials. The only negative we could possible think of is we weren't allowed to sit outside on such a hot evening, the pub was quite warm.

Fabulous food great value and the chef who serves the carvery is a lovely man. He always makes a big effort to accommodate you with whatever you need. Such a lovely place in beautiful surroundings.
