500 Italian Restaurant

So so happy 500 is open again - we had a wonderful family lunch. Tables well spaced out and food and service amazing as always!

Amazing food and excellent staff. We loved we recommend the place.

The food far surpasses the area and is very reasonable priced. The slow cooked beef shin pasta and the chocolate mousse dessert were winners! Will definitely be visiting again.

We enjoyed our meal so much we were tempted to have another at once! Only down side is that when crowded (it wasn't for this early lunchtime visit) the small venue can get uncomfortably noisy. But that's worth putting up with for the sake of the brilliant food created by their brilliant chef. We are blessed to have such a marvel in the Holloway road!

A local favourite that always delivers excellent, original fresh Italian dishes. Friendly staff and efficient service and a good choice of well-priced wines by the glass. We love 500 - from classics like the highly recommended crab salad stacked between layers of cracker, to new dishes like the prawns grilled in a pistachio crust. All the pastas are excellent to and can be ordered in starter or mains portions. It's a popular place so do book in advance!

Everybody loved the delicious and beautifully present food ; except one who chose a pasta main dish and found it slightly disappointing but only in comparison to everybody else's selection. Couldn't fault the service, waiting time or noise levels but we did visit early in January so I think it was probably quieter than usual never the less we had a most enjoyable evening and will definitely be revisiting sooner rather than later.

Wonderful restaurant! The waiter nipped our specially to buy me some gluten-free pasta so I could have the special pasta dish. The food is fantastic, the service is 10/10. We love it.

Food- as always - very good. But two celebratory parties - at two long tables - all but ruined our evening. The four of us fled before desert. Not the first time this has happened. Very sad. But we will not be going back.

I am not going to do a review every time I go to this restaurant. I go regularly about every 3-4 months. It is mt favourite restaurant in a North London. What more can I say.

We had another delicious Italian meal at Cinquecento. This family-run restaurant always comes up trumps. It was busy, but not too busy on the night we were there, so it was easy to converse across the table. Most of us had the veal chop on the ‘specials’ menu. It was very good and delicious. The portions are always generous.

We really enjoyed our dinner at 500. The staff were very attentive and the food was all excellent - especially the focaccia they gave you when you sat down and the beef ragu and the lime and mint sorbet. The restaurant is very cosy which does mean it gets quite noisy, but it’s worth it for the quality of the food!

As always, everything was fantastic, going again tonight, taking all my friends there
