500 Italian Restaurant

What a lovely evening. Great food in a cosy, yet vibrant dining room. The roasted lamb main from the specials list was divine. The wine was lovely too. Thanks for making our Anniversary so special. We’ll be back!

Good atmosphere but too noisy. The truffle tagliatelly was very nice but the truffle rissoto disappointing. The service good, as usual. Will return for the usual menu

The ravioli from the small bites section alone makes 500 worth a visit! Excellent decision to go with small starters (frito misto and burrata - both highly recommended) then starter size pastas to leave enough room for the fabulous and substantial creamy dreamy tiramisu (yes two could share one portion but........)

As always we were warmly welcomed back and shown to our table immediately. Delicious food and our favourite burrata was still on the menu thank goodness. We are always spoilt for choice as far as the mains are concerned and often end two different ones.

500 never fails to deliver - fantastic food and first class service. We are regular visitors of this little treasure of a restaurant, the food is imaginative without being fussy and every dish is delicious; the hardest part of visiting 500 is deciding what to eat - because I always want it all!

Delicious food and a great menu = hard to choose. My partner and I shared each other's good and agreed it was all delicious - fig dessert especially yummy! Keep up the great work. Music slightly irritating... please rethink the selection

The food is consistently good at 500 and good value. Burrata with a cucumber sauce was simple but well balanced, we had steak, lamb and a risotto for the main course which were all praised and they kindly prepared some rice specially for one of us. We will certainly be returning, especially as it's difficult to find really good restaurants open on a Sunday evening.

The decor is basic but food is amazing! Some of the best Italian food we’ve had in London, highly recommend the gnocchi with truffles. Service was friendly and prices reasonable.

Top food, top wine and lovely service in this innovative Italian restaurant. Don’t be put off by the location - it’s worth the trek. We ate the deep fried ravioli with cheese and mint (yum), followed by the courgette salad and seafood, then two portions of the gnocchi (to die for) and finally tiramisu. All washed down by delicious Italian wines. Fantastic value for money and a lovely night out

Excellent food made with high quality ingredients (e.g. mozarella). Service is excellent too. The restaurant is small and can be a bit noisy but it has a good atmosphere.

We had excellent service and delicious food, the only problem was the hard surfaces everywhere increases noise levels so conversation has to be loud increasing noise still further.

500 was as lovely as ever; great food (and we were with Italian friends), great service and great atmosphere. Love this place - look forward to coming again.

I visited the 500 Italian restaurant on Friday evening and had the “to day special”, a wonderful duck. For desert I had the lovely Tiramisu followed by a double espresso. All in all this was a very nice meal prepared and served by very nice staff. I will definitely visit this restaurant again!

I have been about 3-4 Times a year to this restaurant and it is one of my favourite restaurants—superb food, excellent value, menu varies regularly, friendly service. Pasta is especially good but in truth everything is good.

Excellent meal served by staff who paid attention to my friend’s dietary restrictions in a friendly and thoughtful manner. It is always a pleasure to eat at 500 where the menu is enticing and food is beautifully cooked.

May well be the best Italian food in London over the last 10 years with very friendly service and a great wine list. Good value

Over the years we have been to 500 and have never, ever had a bad meal. Excellent service and super welcome. Held my husband's party there when we took over the restaurant and the owner made the whole experience memorable by assisting with the menu and drink choice and facilitating the little extras I wanted to make the evening special.

This is a great little Italian restaurant serving wonderful, fresh, seasonal, traditional but unusual food. The standard of cooking is well above average. Even their bread is great. You won’t find many bog-standard Italian dishes on this menu. We’ve never been disappointed here. You won’t be either.

Lovely local Italian with excellent food and charming service from father and son. I love their Frito misto with courgette starter. Tuesday nights bottles of wine are half price. Lovely

We've been going to this restaurant since it opened, and it rarely disappoints. The chef, Mario, goes from strength to strength, producing seasonal dishes, always refreshing the menu, while still offering the old favourites. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, reasonable prices, welcoming relaxed atmosphere. No wonder we keep going back. We're lucky to have such a good local restaurant.
