Went for Valentine's meal with girlfriend the food was amazing really tasty. Only gripe was a set Valentine's menu and you had to have three courses instead of being able to just have one or two so cost £91 for two set meals and a beer each . Service charge which is optional to as added to bill aswell..no candles or anything valentine's related apart from a menu but can't fault the food what so ever very tasty and service was quick enough considering they were really busy

As we arrived, someone was smoking outside the entrance. They phoned me on hogmanay at 10 am to say they needed the table back for 9 pm. When they took our order they were trying to get us to order additional starters and sides which made us feel uncomfortable. The starter of haggis bon bons was good although only two on the plate, could have been more. The pizza was good and had enough to eat. The desert came and there was only two profiteroles on the plate! Very small portions! The bombillini was good there were less donuts on the plate compared to the last time we went. The waiter came over to get the desert plates and I wasn't finished the ice cream. I said I wasn't finished and he took the plate away leaving the ice cream. Throughout the night other guests arrives and they took their jackets however we didn't get this treatment. I had asked for water for the table and it didn't come so had to ask again for it. Won't be back!

Had a fab meal at Bar Leo and the service was excellent, but we were seated away down the back where only one other table was filled, so the evening lacked atmosphere. Also it was far too bright and when we asked the waiter to dim the lights he said they can’t.

Food was good but it was very noisy background music going and the chatter of other diners made it very difficult to hear what my companion was saying. Music was unnecessary and the noise spoilt the evening
