Great food in a relaxed atmosphere. Nothing too much trouble.

We had a great meal, the only thing I would say is that because everything is on the app, that they need to give you a bit more time, as they asked nearly straight away if we wanted water and bread and olives.

The Tandoori cauliflower was to die for! Attention of staff was excellent.

Went here for a lunch on my wife’s birthday. It was a bit chilly even with the heaters on, but the food and service was good and we enjoyed it.

Nice place for a drink but perhaps not to eat. Limited menu anyway and lots sold out at our visit. Delay and cold food when received. Rectified quickly with replacement meals but disappointing experience overall.

Very welcoming staff at the door, excellent waiting staff, delicious food and great value for money. This pub is following the covid regulations very well.

On arrival we asked for for high chair for our 18 month old son. After 20 minutes of waiting no staff member brought us a high chair or taken a drinks order. At this age my son wants to walk around and explore. Not having a high chair or a drink made and/or some crayons made it difficult to remain seated to keep our distance from other tables. The most frustrating thing was that on several occasions I tried to make eye contact with the staff to get their attention but each time I caught someone's eye they looked the other way. It was fairly busy but a simple I'll be with you in a minute would've been enough. In the end we decided to leave.

First meal out since the covid-19 lockdown and was really enjoyable. Haddock and chips was very good and the Beef Burger was excellent especially as it was cooked medium rare which is how I like it .

Loved it, so great for them to be back open!

We visited on a Sunday lunchtime, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a delicious roast beef with all the trimmings followed by an amazing gingerbread and orange cheesecake for dessert. Highly recommend visiting we will definitely be back.

First day after lockdown and the rules were clearly explained. Where the facilities were and how to order. Track and trace completed and temperatures taken. The service was attentive and the food was good. We mentioned to the server that our chops were a little under cooked and she brought fresh and better cooked ones to the table. We both had the beef burger with the most divine bacon jam. The ambience was lovely and we sat by the fire. All in all a lovely meal out and we shall return.

Food quality excellent, but 2 of the Fillet of Beef Wellingtons ordered as MR were cooked to WD which was disappointing

Our previous visit was not so good but I am pleased to say that this last meal was outstanding. I'm glad we stuck with them. The food was outstanding. We need to support our local businesses and this is the perfect way.
