The venue was excellent but not happy at all with the service had to wait to get our drinks order to be taken had to call two different waiter and finally after 1 mins they decided to take our drinks order at the same time i told them to take our food order to. When i ask for bread which i got after 5mins with out butter and had to ask the other waiter to bring butter over. When i ask the waiter you forgot he answer was he is busy and forgot to bring butter and also I would not go there on sat evening as they are unable to serve in good time

We did have a great time out at Black and Pepper. The service and food was great. Lovely staff and very relaxing and comfortable table for us . Really enjoyed the evening.

Nice place with plenty of space both in terms of seating and the table sizes. The fixed price lunch is excellent value for money, and the staff were both friendly and attentive.

Fish cake was amazing lobster sauce to die for ! And a superb Irish coffee to boot ! The set lunch menu had plenty to choose from will most definitely be back for dinner

I have been here twice and both times it was brilliant service and great food. Sea bass fillet with roast potatoes was awesome, soft and tasty. New York cheesecake was great too. I will be back soon.

Excellent food, good value for money, friendly service. A fairly long wait for main course. Good atmosphere. Good vegetarian choices and also plenty for fish/meat eaters.

We chose from the lunch menu and it was good-sized portions. Unfortunately, my pasta was rather over-cooked but my friend really enjoyed her steak. We were the only table and the staff left us alone. Wasn't a great meal but it wasn't bad either.

Good food , plenty of choices on the menu . Staff are very polite and helpful , have been to this restaurant many times and will continue to go there .

Great food, great service, visited to celebrate my wife’s birthday. They kindly gave her a free glass of champagne and a bowl of ice cream with a sparkler. Only downside, not much Gin selection. Overall though, a great night.

The staff here feel like family, we have been coming for so many years and have a fab time every time. This is a great place for any event x

I hadn't been to Black Pepper for a while. Although the quality of the meal was just as good as in the past, the reduced portions for starter and vegetables were disappointing.

Nice Italian food. Attentive staff. Good nrestaurant in the locality. Ambience is nice too with proper linen tablecloths. Will definitely dine here again. Can cater for large numbers too..

It was a perfect evening. Most people at football I guess. The service was good, the staff friendly and my guest enjoy the meal. Overall a very pleasant evening.

The food was great nice selection and fantastic ambiance..only let down was waiting for drinks to be ordered then served.Reakky lovely having the front opened as it was a hot night.
