Another lovely meal at Blacksticks last night. Best restaurant in Monton if you ask me. Staff lovely, very attentive but not pushy. Nice atmosphere.

Early bird menu was great value for money and rare for it to be available on a Saturday afternoon!

Very tasty food and wonderful atmosphere. We enjoyed it very much .

Overall it was a shame, menu was enticing however the food itself was disappointing. Beef tacos were dried up, the croquettes were flavourless, the meatballs were grisserly however nice sauces with each. Desserts STP and Baileys brûlée were very nice. The waitress service was poor. I use to go here very and hadn’t been for a numbers years, my friend had never been therefore it was a real shame and a let down.

We really enjoyed the Tapas in Blacksticks. The dishes are great quality and as pescatarians we found there was ample choice and the dishes were fresh. Service was great.

The food was lovely and the staff friendly. The service however was slow, taking a long time to take our order, serve drinks and serve food.

The meal was excellent and waiting staff were polite and happy. The restaurant has bi-folding doors to the main ground floor which were open. It was cold and did not create a pleasant ambiance.

Everything was amazing. The food was amazing presentation the staff everything the food was beautiful. We’ll be back.

One of our favourite goes to for family meals. Never fails to amaze us with the quality of food and service. Nothing is to much trouble, the restaurant and toilets are always immaculate and the staff are always friendly and happy to please. Would whole heartily recommend.

Went for an early bird menu as an early present for my husband’s birthday on Monday… been loads of times and can honestly say the food and service is excellent. Excellent in price , quality and presentation. The service is always spot on and attentive without being intrusive. If you want a space to eat and chat with your partner, this is definitely a goer. Lots of eateries have tables too close together and the music is too loud. If you still like good old fashioned chit chat in a lovely warm g you won’t find a better place

The table was ready when we arrived so no waiting time. Not many people in so the noise level was good but it can be a little noisy when busy, as I've been here before when it is busy. The staff and food is lovely. I've been for the early bird menu and that's always been good.

Top quality Sunday lunch. Knocks the spots off the Waterside, which has gone steadily down hill in the last 5 years or so! Will be definitely returning for Sunday lunch.

We went for my birthday. Staff were very attentive and put a candle in my dessert. We had the early bird menu which was lovely. Overall experience was very good.

As usual the food and the service were excellent. The only reason for not giving a higher rating is that the restaurant was cold everytime the door opened and we were sat near the door. Just unfortunate it was such a cold night.
