Bock Bière Café

We loved it! Had the roast beef fondue! beef was beautiful, gravy was lush, yorkie waffles were amazing! Agree with some of the other reviews, the next table were a bit too close to us which wouldn't have been too much of a problem had it have been different people (think the monotonous late teens/early 20's tribe). We will be back for a pizza fondue for sure!!

Food - fairly tasty and the biiterballen were great but the meals weren’t very big for £25 and 2 people sharing. Drinks were good. Cocktails seemed very overpriced for a fairly small glass filled to the brim with ice. Got about 3 mouthfuls for £7. Service was pretty bad. Girl waiting on us was nice but. Took about 20 minutes to get that cocktail above. Tried to save space on the table by not bringing a gravy fondue pan. We had a vegan and she was supposed to share with meat eaters in that pan. Still waiting on a jug of water for the table.

We had the fondu roast, although the food was great it took a long time to arrive and the service wasn’t great. I would still recommend

It was made very awkward and difficult for an odd Number of people to eat. Which shouldn’t have been that difficult as 1 was vegetarian and then ordered everything individually so may as well just been allowed to have a smaller single platter with gravy to feel more involved. Very in needed. Yorkshire puddings cold and veg just tasted re heated in a microwave. Good concept ,poor delivery

The cheese fondue was divine! The beer selection was great and the wines were really nice! We loved it and are already planning on going back!

Lovely as always. Fondue is great. Always really enjoy it when we go. I would always recommend. We have been quite a few times and keep coming back.

Cheese fondue is amazing, massive portion, steak cooked perfectly & the cheese isn’t too sickly. Will definitely be coming back and trying all the other fondues

My husband and I took our daughter (2yrs) for the Sunday roast Fondue on a Monday and the food and service was excellent. We really enjoyed the food, everything was really tasty and we’ll cooked. The service was fantastic, the waitress couldn’t do enough for us and made a huge effort to chat to our daughter. Cannot wait to book again!

Arrived a little early but the table was ready for us. The roast fondue was very tasty and filling. The beer menu is amazing,and the staff are very friendly,we will definitely come here again and recommend it.

Amazing food and the service was great as well! We ordered the roast dinner fondue and it was divine. Will definitely be returning to try the other fondue dishes.

Excellent Food ..........as always!!! We had the Monday Roast Fondue (yet again!) ...... there's a great selection of drinks ..... the Staff are very friendly ...... and the ambience is fab .... no matter what time of day or night!

Great food. Attentive staff. Enjoyed the Belgian beer flights. Suggest they state however that the pizza fondue for up to 4 is really for 2.

Absolutely fabulous place! You can’t beat a Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding waffles and then add gravy fondue!!!! Delicious! It’s a deffo must try if you're in Manchester

Really liked the atmosphere and the food was really nice. We ordered the vegan fondue as we had an itison voucher and it was surprisingly filling.

Great food as always. Service was nice. Really recommend trying any of the fondues as they’re all really tasty. Tried the Mangozo mango beer - recommended.

Great roast. Lots of food. Plenty for two people. Even the veg had great flavour. They even had a offer of two for one cocktails.

The meal was very nice but original seating not suitable for party of 8 but moved when we askeď. Lots of meat almost too much but not enough vegetables for 2 adults and it may be worth considering having a single portion version as not a lot of choice if roast isnt an option as single guest.

One of the best Sunday dinners I have had in a long time would highly reccomend. Great value for money and the desserts are delicious

Food was amazing as always and the staff were friendly and tentative. Only issue was the £3 charge for extra gravy when we've already paid for the Sunday fondue. You wouldn't need to pay for extra gravy at other restaurants.

We had the Sunday lunch fondue with beef, it was delicious! Definately up there as a great Sunday roast, not just a novelty!

booked in on a Sunday at 1.45 so the restaurant was busy and service was slightly slower than what I would usually expect however the food was amazing, the surrounds were great and the staff were very lovely.

The most amazing food and something a little bit different. Wish I lived in Manchester so I could go again but sadly I’m from Sheffield!

We celebrated my daughters birthday here we th the Sunday lunch fondue, amazing food, atmosphere and our 2 servers were fantastic! I didn’t get their names I’m afraid, 1 male with glasses, 1 blonde girl who hasn’t worked there very long, but they’ll remember the birthday bread! Both of them were professional but lots of fun too! Excellent food, excellent service, excellent value. Amazing selection of beers (some not for the faint hearted) and a cozy but roomy atmosphere. Overall very very impressed and will go again.

Brilliant vegan fondue. Lovely staff. Great vibe overall and extensive beer menu. This place is a perfect place for a pit stop, especially on a cold day.

Had the roast fondue. While the concept is novel, I found the beef dry. The beers and wine were nice but would not rush back.

Good selection of beers and some decent wines and cocktails. Food was just right, could’ve done with a bumit more beef but just cause it was so good! Definitely going back!!

We really enjoyed our visit. We went on a Monday to have the Sunday roast fondue, everything was cooked perfectly, and I was shocked at the large amount of meet you got. I would say though, thatbif youbpike gravy then order extra, because I don’t think there was enough. Staff were all brilliant and really friendly too which always helps :) thank you

Perfect! that is why this is our speciall place! As always, nice music, ambience, amazing food and now with new beer menu! I like how they divide the menu with different thematic beers and the chance of getting a trio beer as well

First visit here and loved it. Had been eager to try the roast fondue and it didn't disappoint. Lovely cut of meat, enough food for two people, only slight downside, veg and potatoes weren't as warm as the rest of the food but it didn't stop us enjoying it. Staff were friendly and attentive and food served within a reasonable time. There was a large party also dining at same time as us and at times, due to intimate size of the Cafe, the noise was over bearing. Can't wait to come back to try the pizza fondue! 😊

Loved our day of fondues starting with the roast beef and finishing with the chocolate and fruit. The food was cooked to perfection and service was friendly. Washed down with a couple of Belgian beer for good measure. Great birthday treat for the hubby

We waited over an hour to get our food, when it arrived the potatoes were burnt, we sent it back to the kitchen, the same plate came out with new potatoes so the food was cold. The beef was so tough most of it was inedible. The staff were great and we weren’t charged for our food but we won’t be going back.
