Love this place! Best nachos and cocktails in Teesside can’t wait to go back

Favourite place in Norton. What is there not to like about this place. Cocktails are flowing and so many to choose from, good draft lager as well. Food OMG the Nachos in this place ar to die for.

We had Sunday lunch, the food was delicious and the portions were good. Friendly staff who provided good service. We will definitely return and try the cocktails.

Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The food portions were huge and all the meals were lovely. The cocktails were the best I’ve had from anywhere in a while. We would definitely go back to canteen and cocktails.

We had sunday lunch it was very nice ! The table was very small but we managed and the table was quite grubby but the waitress did clean it when iasked ! Would go again!

So disappointed with our visit here. Sauces missing with the foods after asking 3 different people for them and never receiving them! They then refused one of our friends a drink! As when we were having a giggle the manager took that as 'being too drunk'. Will not visit again for food.

Everything was spot on, drinks were lovely, meal was gorgeous! We will definitely come again!

Friendly attentive staff, great food. A fabulous selection of gins and cocktails available - ours was a lunchtime visit so couldn’t try too many this time but we will be back soon

The food and cocktails were delicious!! I had the Pulled Chicken, Cheese and Chorizo Bap with a side of Mac 'n' Cheese, yummy! Also had 4 cocktails, they are so good and presented well too! :)

Went on a Monday evening and the service was very good, although other times I have been service has not been great. Food always very very good though.

Incredible Sunday Lunch as always. This is my regular place for Sunday Lunch. Great staff and amazing food. What more could you want?

The food was lovely and the cocktails are delicious (best porn star martini I’ve had) We’ve been here afew times and it’s always consistent with great food and service. We’ll no doubt be back again

We were seated quickly and the food came soon after ordering. The food was fresh and hot and our cocktails were all delicious, we will definitely be coming back!

Went for Sunday lunch again, it's quite rustic but the food is really good. Love the slow cooked brisket, just melts in the mouth. My wife had chicken which was very tasty too. Loads of veg much of it roasted, so again great flavour.

Good food eaten and good time had. Nice atmosphere. I had a very pleasant evening. If I had ordered a smaller main course I might have had room for pudding

Amazing Sunday dinner, table of 4 and enough brought out to serve everyone. Love the setting and often go for food but definitely will return for a Sunday dinner.

We visited for Sunday dinner and chose the 2 person sharing platter. The food was amazing and definitely enough for 2 people to share with some left over.

There was a big range of different cocktails which was really nice to see and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend it to friends and family for all occasions

Excellent food, beautifully cooked. Staff are so friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. A lovely warm atmosphere in the place and makes you feel at home.

One of my favourite Sunday dinners ever, the only thing I think could be improved is the quantity of meat, other than that, the best !!

Got the Sunday lunch sharing boards, beef and pork. It was amazing! Couldn't finish it all so good portions! There was two of us that would deffos go again

Girls who served us were great, really friendly and attentive and food was delicious. Didn't feel rushed even though we were in there ages! Can't wait to come back.

Staff have no idea what is going on around them. No one was there to guide them at all as it looked like there was no management in at all. Food outstanding but service was shocking again

My chicken burger was cold! And the chicken fajitas came with no chicken! Always here but tday was very disappointing meal!wont be going back in a hurry

This was our first visit and won't be our last. Great atmosphere, good staff and very nice food. Enjoyed the our meals we had the bbq pulled pork and popcorn chicken in a baps, booking online was very easy and we will be going back

I really enjoyed our Sunday dinner , the veg was nice and you got quite a lot of meat . Had a few cocktails which were by far the best thing .

Sunday lunch was brilliant and the staff were friendly. the only reason I didn't give top marks was because there wasn't a meat substitute for vegetarians, my poor dad just had veg and gravy :(

Booked table weeks in advance for 8 people + highchair for a birthday meal. It appeared that they weren't ready for us and cleared a table right next to the main door in the bar, which became very busy, with lots of foot traffic, people standing up against us and empty glasses being left on the table as we tried to have dinner. The food was great, but the occasion was spoiled by the poor table.

Really impressed, really tasty fresh food, good menu choice, drinks menu is fab & couldn't fault the service - will definitely be back again soon

Great food, great staff, great cocktails. Canteen and Cocktails is one of the better restaurants in Norton, good for a posh night out or a chill lunch date.

Excellent Sunday lunch- the is my new 'goto' place now for Sunday lunch. Service and portion sizes were just as should be. Cauliflower cheese amazing

Gorgeous food and amazing cocktails my firat visit and was not disappointed will definitely be returning the burgers and Sunday roast were fantastic 😆 😀
