The service and the food were superb. Proper homecooked food. Very quiet place, maybe due to the location and the time we visited but didn't make a difference to our experience!! Will definitely be returning next time we are in Liverpool.

This is an absolutely great restaurant- really lovely staff and the best bowl of scouse I have ever had. I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone

Really lovely designed and friendly place. Independently owned, which is great, Food was superb, homely plus Excellent prices. Bonus of live music and cocktails. Hidden due to building works, so hunt it out!

The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and polite. The food is cooked fresh so does take a little longer than usual but is certainly worth the wait, the chicken was delicious.

Booked for my daughters graduation. We got a free bottle of prosecco. Food is amazing. Service is brilliant ambience is fab. Really recommend this place

Outside the Clockworks is a major building site. Don't let that put you off, it's worth the diversions to get into the building. Service was good and very friendly, food was excellent (pie & a pint for £10). Overall a good evening and I'd recommend you try it

Great food in a lovely converted building. Staff very attentive despite being busy when we arrived, would definitely visit again. A great range of beers available too.

Service was good. Live music was also a nice touch. Food was quite expensive but didn't have to wait long for it to come out.

Clockworks is my new favourite place! Amazing cocktails really tasty food, music was great an steampunk decor is excellent... We had 2 cocktails 2 meals plus a desert 🍴 for £36!! Highly recommend 😁👍👌

Welcoming staff and lovely food. It was a relaxed atmosphere in there. We had some cocktails too the bloody Mary is one of the best bloody Mary's I have ever had.

Clockworks looks fantastic inside and is a great addition to the city's restaurants and bars. The soundtrack was brilliant (The Strokes 'Reptilia' was playing as we walked in followed by The Kinks and Oasis...) and the staff were welcoming. We all enjoyed the food and although the menu is not extensive, the mains that we ordered were all good value and tasty.

Had a fabulous freshe home cooked meal at Clockworks the pork belly bites were amazing and the scouse was the best scouse I have had. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Lovely bar/restaurant. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.

food, atmosphere and servers all amazing. can't recommend highly enough. a hidden gem. hopefully in the summer there will be outside place which would be wonderful. can't fault it though

Four of us had a girly lunch . The food was lovely as were the staff . Surroundings quirky. My friend had a Bloody Mary cocktail that came in a pint pot garnished with a rasher of bacon. The jury was out on that one!

Amazing hidden little gem! Great atmosphere, food was so tasty, and the staff were fantastic. So friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I'd 100% recommend anyone to go. At the end of our meal a live singer came on. Perfect night. My friends and I will be back very soon ;-)

Really good place!! Went with my wife and we couldn't get over the friendliness, helpfulness and enthusiastic staff. Really a credit to the place. The food was stunning. We had 3 starters- frickles, black pudding and sticky beef-all super tasty! And my wife had the Scouse, and I had the Coca Cola pork belly. Couldn't complain about a thing. Music in the background was great. It was quiet-but it was a Monday night. Will definitely be back!

Lovely food and very nice atmosphere. The toilets were very quirky and it really felt like a revamped industrial warehouse with the decoration. It was cosy and the staff were attentive, I'd recommend going for the pork belly bites.

Food very good great value 4starters 4 mains wine drinks & coffees £90 and the service was excellent.inside was all exposed brick warehouse feel with lots of tables for dining & bar area if you just wanted a drink music good as well would recommend this restaurant

Great little bar/restaurant highly recommended. Servers polite and attentive and will to accommodate the food and atmosphere were both great. Would definitely eat here again. Get the pie!

What a great place the food was lovely I opted for the goats cheese to start wow such flavour just beautiful then I had the rolled turkey and trimmings the gravy was devine. Hubby started with the fish cakes which was lovely and fluffy inside then he had the belly pork in coca cola he said this was cooked to perfection. The staff were excellent the service was great. All in all Clockworks gets a giant thumbs up for everything and we will be coming back for more thank you

Really good food, the most delicious black pudding we have ever tasted! Service with a smile and actually cared what we thought too. And nice coffee.

Delicious food and cocktails....along with excellent service. Would definitely recommend.....and very friendly waiter and waitress who made our kids feel very welcome. We'll definitely be back!
