Great service an great food will definitely be back. Have been t Cote in Marylebone and it was not any where near as good as Barnes
Standard of food and service is always very high. Very much enjoyed the free champagne celebrating 1st anniversay at Barnes.
Another lovely meal and service. We brought friends with us this time and they too commented on the evening. Thank you Lucy and team!
Very friendly welcome and although half an hour early for booking we were seated promptly. Also drinks were brought quickly. Ordered starters and mains, a reasonable time for starters to arrive but then a very long time for mains. As we were going on somewhere did feel rushed and had to ask twice when mains were going to arrive. Apologies were forthcoming though. Enjoyed what we ate but not enough time for dessert which I had been looking forward to. A lot of staff running around. Wasn’t busy when we first got there but did get busy later, but noticed that people who had arrived later than us got served quicker.
Always a great experience at Côte in Barnes. From the well chosen and well priced menu, the friendly, efficient service,to the wonderful position of the restaurant, overlooking Barnes Pond. The icing on the cake yesterday was the free glass of Champagne to celebrate the restaurant's 1st anniversary! Happy birthday Côte....a great addition to the neighbourhood.
Delicious food and delightful service and marvellous atmosphere and very good value,
Service was very slow. No filter water was offered. One of our guests who was celiac, checked a dish with the waitress. She checked with the chef about a dish, but didn’t come back to confirm. The dish without a Gluten Free flag which it would normally have( usually the manager would take the order when gluten free) nobody checked to see if our food was okay. The table took time To be cleared.Everything else was to standard. We were overcharged for the bill at the end by £8 this was rectified but for this I would expect service to come off or manager to apologies considering how quiet the restaurant was.
The service in particular was excellent. It was the perfect venue for a family evening out - great food and you know you are getting value for money
Lovely food and service nothing to much trouble also not rushed Nice of pond all in all a trusting and welcoming experience that I will recommend to any of my friends and family
I love the restaurant but I have to say In Westbourne Park the staff are more welcome, nothing wrong with the one in Barnes some of them are so Nice like a lady always so nice ... the girl in the glasses as well but some is a bit close face ... but nothing bad 😬but the girls there are more welcoming. Thanks I love the food .
Lovely table overlooking Barnes pond and scrumptious food and drink.A great lunch much enjoyed by our guests and ourselves . We will be back very soon !
Delicious, well cooked food as usual. Staff very attentive and polite without being intrusive. Pretty location and clean facilities. We were a lunch party of four and will definitely visit again.
Lovely meal. Tuna slightly better done than I like & they were lovely about changing it. Excellent service & food. A lovely Sunday lunch. Thanks
As usual the nicest staff and constantly good food. Brilliant value for money and a beautiful venue.
Excellent service - waitress was lovely and didn't have to wait long at all on a busy Father's Day. Beautiful location. Food was delicious!
An excellent lunch in a nice convivial atmosphere. A good selection of main courses and sweets. (We did not try a starter.) I expect we will be back for lunch or dinner quite soon.
The standard at Cote continues by delivering fantastic food, served by attentive, friendly staff in an excellent ambiance and all at a reasonable price.
Excellent per theatre dinner. One of the best Cote's I've visited. Great value, super staff - and even when a small issue arose - the team dealt with it succinctly, promptly and in a thoroughly customer centric fashion. Well done Team Cote :- would thoroughly recommend you. Thank you
Attentive team and lovely food and location for breakfast in Barnes
Another great meal and service - we will be back to explore more of the menu Thank you George and his team for an enjoyable evening Nick & Michael
Had a fantastic family / birthday dinner with great food and fantastic service! This is a lovely place you would like to visit over and over again!
Amazing food, lovely staff, love they serve breakfast until 1pm on the weekend!
First class service and first class cuisine; well done to the whole team at Côte Barnes, it was a genuine pleasure to dine there tonight - 5 Stars across the board.
An excellent early bird menu. Great for families- the steak frites were superb. Reasonably priced too and good portion size. Lovely ambience, decor and service. Just what is needed in the area.
Slightly changed menu from what I got! The waiter however was very helpful to explain.
The food is good but usually I barely find on the plate all the ingredients mentioned in the recipe. Like it would say it has olives or potatoes or croutons or anything else in the mix would be lucky to find more than 2 in some cases.
Pleasant interlude in a busy day: vegetarian breakfast for two served quickly after ordering, well presented and delicious. The only downside was a well-meaning but over-anxious waiter who frequently needed to ask whether the food was OK.
Fantastic manager. Gorgeous girl. So polite & accommodating. All staff do a fantastic job. Great food - great value.
We lunched at Côte Barnes as a family of four. Difficult to say anything negative. The food, from the Prestige set menu, was lovely - I had French onion soup, sea bass and Coupe Noire - and very good value for money. The waiter was charming, and the view over Barnes duck pond glorious. Throw in some olives, bread and drinks for £106, and it was a very pleasant way to spend a Friday lunchtime. I have been to other Cotes and been less impressed, but this was everything I hoped for, and more.
Very enjoyable evening, wonderful friendly efficient attentive staff. Noticed a kindly waitress helping an elderly gentleman with his coat on his chair. Food was very well seasoned and served quickly. Service was not intrusive. Have always rated Cote for its food and welcoming staff and the Barnes restaurant is an excellent example of good food at a reasonable price. Jeanette Sanders
Delightful greetings on arrival, everytime. The set dinner choices are first class topped Everytime with excellent, caring service. Please do not change. A wonderful asset to Barnes in a delightful location. One benefit us we have never come across a dog! I hope it's the policy as the rest cafes/eateries,with few exceptions in Barnes are plagued with them. Love dogs but not at and under tables where I eat.
I liked the place very much, good location, friendly, professional staff, delicious food. Highly recommended.
Lucy the manager was great however the chicken was badly cooked and almost uneatable.
Excellent! We were greeted by the Manager, Charlie, who was absolutely brilliant throughout our stay. The Rhubarb Cocktails were delicious and the food very yummy! All the staff were friendly and efficient. Thank you! The flowers for my 100 year old Aunt were just fabulous - a very kind gesture. Kaye Hewson
The waitress was so lovely! My father’s birthday they gave us a cake. It was great thanks so much!
This is excellent value for money and the restaurant is a warm and welcoming venue. The pre 7pm menu is worth coming early for and it's a great addition to Barnes
Great menu with .lots of choice, friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. We went early Friday evening before going on somewhere else and it was perfect. We will definitely return.
It was all very good, I love going there. Food lovely, service very good. It was a bit too noisy but it was very busy (Mother day).
AS usual, Cote provided a great Brasserie lunch. Good food and great atmosphere. Cote Barnes has a really nice view over the green and pond.
Really lovely manageress. Such a warm welcome and given a lovely table. The waiter was super attentive, very professional and made the evening go well. Can't fault the service at all. Two things; the portion size of the (delicious)fries is simply too small for the price and even though it's a steak restaurant there should be vegan options. A vegan menu would be a 'catch all' instead of the vegetarian one. After 20 years in Barnes this is the 4th restaurant on this site and by far the very best!
The food was delicious as always and we enjoyed the complimentary gin and tonics. The seating arrangements in the Barnes restaurant are problematic, especially with a baby. We were seated on a table in the middle of the restaurant and had to keep moving the pram to let people past. The tables are too close together so people were constantly bumping in to our chairs. I think that if customers have a pram they should be seated in a corner area to prevent this from happening.
Great place as usual. Great service, great food and great online booking. Thanks
An excellent supper after a busy day. Our waiter was very helpful and the service very efficient. The Pre-7pm menu (Steak Frites + Crème Caramel and Chicken with Sarladaises Potatoes + Lemon and Raspberry Sorbet) accompanied by the complimentary Kir Royale (thanks to the Barnes Music Festival) and a glass of delicious Pinot Noir made for a very good-value and enjoyable evening.
Lovely lunch - thank you for serving the local community!
In very difficult times—-food was excellent—but the service was better than you get in two star Michelin restaurants. And far more fun. Well done.
Really enjoyed food and wine and lovely staff. not as busy as usual because of the dreaded virus!
Such a lovely location, very pleasant staff and the food was absolutely delicious. The menu has a lot of variety. Definitely worth a vists.
Excellent overall. Service very attentive and very little waiting. The free cocktail - St.Germain - is also a nice touch!
hi there we were a birthday party of 6 which i booked in person with the most helpful charming manageress [?] a week before, for last saturday night - she said we couldnt be promised the specific table but that she would try her best - and we got it!! which was brill - it was a truly lovely evening from start to finish - the staff were really good helpful and friendly - all the food was absolutely great - and the ambience / lighting of the restaurant just right... all of us thought it a really great evening - and to be repeated for sure - please keep up the good work .. and thank you.......and its great for the neighbourhood...best wishes johnb
Can’t believe the Breton fish stew has gone again disappointing had sea bass was ok but lacked sauce and had yellow watercress presented with it,could do with more tasty vegetarian stuff on the menus have tried a few
