Amazing food and service, thank you for a great night

As always a really nice food , atmosphere and the service was lovely, (thank you David) Good to see another branch in area area doing well. As our local one in Winchester has always been good.

ONe main meal cold. Main waitress lacked a smile/ engagement compared to other staff and previous experience of eating in Cote. We said it was a birthday celebration on booking but no acknowledgment of that. Not usual standard.

Drinks very expensive. Food not that good. Atmosphere was very good however.

Food was absolutely delicious, one of my colleagues was very happy that you had some classical French dishes on the menu and we all were able to indulge in some tasty dishes! I particularly enjoyed the Fillet of Beef Rossini which was cooked perfectly!

Polite efficient staff.The table for 2 was rather small and cramped but overall very pleased.

The starters were good however we both had the cassoulet which we have had in france and it was not good. It was very salty and both the duck and the sausage were extremely dry and chewy very disappointing.

Excellent meal of calamari starter, main course of duck breast with very tasty dauphinoise potatoes . For pudding the lemon tart was a bit disappointing.

Lovely meal, the staff were very helpful and kind, would definitely recommend :)

The food was excellent, as usual, but the service was very slow bearing in mind that the place was not very busy.

Very enjoyable. Good food and good service. The wine was nice too, although the pricing of the Gravieres at one bottle = more expensive than 3x 250ml glasses is daft.

Very good service, nice meal well presented. Very busy and quite noisy but that was to be expected being a Saturday evening. Its great we now have a decent restaurant in Basingstoke for people who enjoy the cinema and theatre and are not fans of fast food....

A Sunday night so fairly quiet but food lovely as usual, service was polite and prompt.

Brunch. Waitress was very nice and attentive however the quality and service from the kitchen was poor. Big family get together but Côte struggled with a party of 9. Scrambled eggs were cold, had developed a crust. Crepes with egg were also cold which my family did say anything during the meal. Also one breakfast came out 10-15mins later after everyone else had there’s. Disappointed. We’ve been before as a family of 4 and had great food but today came well below expectation.

Have been to Cotes several times and always had a lovely meal and service......this time was a little different but didnt like to complain. Our meal was served and we were told the plates were hot ( thats good ) but the meal on the plate was barely warm. I asked for some more Jus thinking it may warm up the meal...we were told there would be a charge for the jus which was fine...but it never came....we held back finishing our meal and still the Jus didnt arrive...the waitress asked us twice had it arrived but it hadnt and never did. I have a different view of Cotes because of that....but hopefuly it will not deter me from eating there again....hopefuly.

Wonderful restaurant! The best quality of the food! Love it!

We had a main dish from the set menu and had no time to order pudding (our fault) or we would have been late for our show, so the staff were incredibly accommodating and told us to go back after the show when we could have our pudding. They also gave us complimentary tea and coffee afterwards. I cant recall the last time I had service like this!! Extremely friendly and helpful.

As always it was fantastic, thank you very much. I came tonight for the cassoulet which was fantastic and the service was perfect. The staff in this restaurant are always on point and make even a simple meal out feel special. Thank you

The service at Cote in Basingstoke was absolutely perfect - very attentive and friendly, but never overbearing. We had the steak tartare and calamari to start, and then the Chicken and Minute Steak - everything was delicious, served quickly and requests for amends were accepted without extra charge. My steak was a little less pink than I'd like, but it was still delicious and well seasoned. The atmosphere is lovely - relaxed, intimate and cozy, so perfect for a date night with the hubby!
