Lovely food, lovely atmosphere and lovely company - great value for money too.

Nice food and nice waitress but then we had a second waitress who was a bit curt

The staff are pleasant and helpful and the food was very good. My steak was cooked exactly as I ordered it.

6 of us for lunch, greeted and seated promptly. Asked for and recieved our complimentary Side Car cocktails as per promotion (only 2 diners wanted them). I had the November Special of Cassoulet de Toulouse, very good indeed and I've had a few in SW France, the home of this dish. Everyone enjoyed their choices, no complaints. Restaurant a bit noisy today and extra water requested forgotten as was knife which was missing. Also charged for "complimentary" cocktails but bill amended without fuss. One of our favourite restaurants.

We had booked a table to celebrate my parents anniversary, 63 years! We all had a great experience from great food to friendly, helpful staff. The special offer of a free Sidecar cocktail also went down well.

Very slow service. Asked, what seemed to be a lady manager, if we could be placed elsewhere since there were lots of empty tables and she was squeezing us between other tables... was given a rude and arrogant response. Apparently all tables were booked (even though you could book lots of times online). Don’t be unnecessarily rude! I will not be returning to this new location.. I’ll stick with my usual Reading store

The food itself was great, but we found that the noise of people talking was intrusive. The music was way too low I thought is was coming from the restaurant across the walkway. I also think that a stranded service charge of 12.5% is too much! And because we were just two it felt like we were just fitted in and the space around us was very small. When the next table was bring served, the server brushed me a few times. We do really enjoy the food though.

Our party of three was put on a small table which really was not suitable as I had a large boxed cake sitting on it. I asked to be moved to a booth which they did, but, when we arrived I asked for a booth but was told they were reserved!! Food, staff and atmosphere Excellent

Excellent service and food. The food was delicious and we didnt have to wait very long for it to arrive at our table. We were a party of four and all agreed that it was a memorable evening.

Anastasia was fantastic, efficient and friendly. The side car cocktail was a nice touch and start to the evening.The food was well presented and tasted superb. Only criticism was a loud and tipsy table (that's not Cotes fault).
