Delightful location - tucked away courtyard yet in the centre of Bath. Cotes menu always to our liking. Warm friendly service. Would highly recommend.

I eat regularly at this restaurant throughout the year. The food is always good and cater for those who require gluten free. I can not fault the service. However, you ask why only 4 stars. As soon as the sun comes out and you start serving outside as well as inside the service is slow, below the usual standard. Unfortunately, the star rating given reflects this visit.

We booked lunch on impulse as it was our Wedding Anniversary and we were staying in Bath. When we arrived we were given a table which was rather small and in an awkward posotion but when we told them it was our anniversary they moved us upstairs to a lovely table by the window and brought us a glass of kir each and even gave us a special card at the end. We were made to feel veey special by the staff and it really made our day! The food was good too. Thank you Cote Brasserie

Excellent and accommodating service. The menu is fantastic and the food served was delicious. Cote brassiere never disappoints and is the best chain restaurant that I will always visit.

Delicious food and excellent, friendly service. I usually order the steak frites as I like the way it’s served (the steak is nice and thin) but tonight I went for the lamb rump - perfectly cooked to order, with a good variety of roast vegetables. I may have found a new favourite!

Hi - the food was as good as always but the main arrived before we had finished our starter - we could have sent it back but we didn't - when we looked after the main menu said it was a rapide choice - but the special of the day menu did not mention this when we ordered from it - so a bit confused - but great as always -just a bit fast -

Good location and attentive but not over powering staff. Our table for two was a little small and squashed in but most of the others looked better. But the food is great! Fairly priced, nicely cooked and well presented. Have been before and will go again.

Sadly it was a disaster ! We had booked and arrived on time to be shown to our table . A fairly lengthy wait and then ordered drinks and food at the same time. Polite waiter . My meal arrived after another lengthy wait and my wife's creamed spinach but no lunch for her for a further twenty minutes before we could attract the waiter's attention and he then found that the kitchen had not prepared the order. Meanwhile the spinach was cold as were my chips. I felt obliged to eat my steak luke warm while waiting for my wife's lunch so we could not eat together ! My salad consisted of three lettuce leaves. Finally my wife's chicken arrived... The restaurant did apologise and we were not charged. I chose to pay for sweet and drinks but really it was the worst experience at Cote and we have eaten in three different Cote restaurants.

Following eating at Cote Worcester, we decided to try Bath and weren't disappointed. Will definitely go there again. Only negative was the lack of zero alcohol beer.

I'm not sure what was going on in the kitchen. Quite a few items were "off". I ordered the duck starter and was given chicken liver (the waiter did apologise). My asparagus risotto had two asparagus stalks only. More risotto than asparagus. The waiter was very good.

Lovely meal for 5 of us after graduation ceremony at Assembly Rooms. I had duck which was perfectly cooked. All food served hot. Great ending to a wonderful experience.

Visit Cote regularly. Always good food and great service. Good value for money. Need to book if event on as gets very busy. Very popular venue in central Bath. Can’t add anything more.

The service and staff were very good and friendly. My Mousse de canard was disappointing the pate itself was very bland and the fruit chutney served with it was entirely inappropriate. The seafood linguine was OK but nothing special. The crème caramel had a lovely consistency but was perhaps a bit too sweet. My wife enjoyed her minute steak and her chicken parfait.

Delicious as always. Service was good though a little slower than usual but it was very busy as it was Mother’s Day. Hard to beat Cote! Well done!

We visit Bath twice each year and ensure that a meal at Cote is included. Last night was another excellent experience!

Brilliant food, value, ambience and service. Never been disappointed at Bath

Our lunch was delicious, arrived hot, and the staff were very pleasant indeed. We chose from the set lunch menu, two courses. The choices were very good and all options were tempting!

Initially we had to wait for the table to be cleared when we arrived 5 mins early for our reservation which we found a little stange just waiting around for six minutes in the way of everybody entering the restaurant. In previous times we have been shown to a table staright away. The food we ordered for breakfast came within 15- 20 mins after ordering and was reasonable but not outstanding

Lovely venue good food, staff always smiling. A great place to celebrate any occasion or just a meal for no particular reason. Can be a bit noisy downstairs upstairs is quieter.

The food was superb. Sadly service when we arrived was not. We were shown to our table and then left waiting for over 15 minutes before the waitress came to take our food order. We were not asked if we wanted drinks. The food then arrived without a side and I had to chase for it after 5 minutes.

As ever, the service was excellent and the food faultless! The waiting staff are always so smart in their blue shirts and long aprons. It is very professional.

We went to the Bath restaurant after a day out in the city. great service and great food. As always with Cote. We have been to various branches and it’s always reliably excellent.

Birthday celebration but no special treatment. Fish meal- small portion.

We are regulare customers at Cote Bath but this is the first time I have been dissapointed. Firstly, our server had to be asked to provide a replacement Kir glass. One of our glasses had a crack and broken edge which could have caused a very nasty cut if it had not been noticed! Secondly, we had to aks our server to provide us with cutlery for our main course. Thirdly, I have just checked our receipt and discovered we have been charged for 3 x Coupe Noire! I thought the Coupe Noir was included in the Mother's Day 3 course set menu which we had! We will thik twice form now on before we visit Cote again.

We had a lovely evening. Food was amazing & so tasty. Our young waitress (from Latvia) was so good, as usual Cote’s came up tops.

Pleasant, efficient service, and generally very tasty food. An enjoyable family lunch, thank you. We don't eat out very often and Cote is a consistently good choice for us. It was noisy, but that's a Saturday lunchtime. Had a wait a little long for our mains, but we hadn't ordered starters and again it was a Saturday. No complaints from me.

Cote always delivers. Great food and friendly staff. We had crab mayonnaise to start ( just a slice more bread would have been good). Then partner had Poule grille and I had haddock and lentils. We shared a Tarte au citron (just a tad more creme fraiche would have balanced it out). Overall meal was lovely. Lived up to our expectations which have never been disappointed here.

Service was excellent from your newly hired young french waitress. She is a credit to your restaurant. The food was of good quality although fairly average when compared to previous visits. One issue that needs to be seriously addressed is that there were no large red wine glasses, just small low quality glasses.This is not something that is expected, especially of a French restaurant in Bath. We hope that this will be corrected on our next visit.

Another great meal and experience generally, tthough the smoked salmon wasn’t the best I’ve had at Cote but it normally is excellent. Great staff and ambience.

Choice was great. Food was of a very good standard and servings were just right. The service was lovely but quite slow. I think you should serve a small salad with the steaks. I don’t like when you have to purchase sides to complete a meal - they should be an addition. Overall lovely evening - I’ll be back.

I brought my Mum here for Mothers Day on a recommendation from a friend. She had said the food was really good and she was spot on. We had decided to share a starter of crab mayo, which was delicious and plenty for the both of us. Mum had the roasted pork belly for main whilst I had Pan fried duck breast. The pork belly was delicious and didn't stint on the crackling, it could have done with being on some kind of trivet in the oven though as the bottom was very tough. The duck was also delicious but the menu did make a point to note that it was served pink, it may have been pink when it was plated but as we had to wait for quite a long time for our mains to come out (2 other parties that arrived after us were well tucking into their main courses while we were still waiting for ours) I suspect it may have been left under the warming lamps for too long. I have to say though, it was still delicious if slightly tough and our server was very apologetic that we had too wait. We decided to share a dessert and chose chocolate fondant as it is something Mum had never had .... I didn't get a look in, it was very good. All in all Cote Brasserie was worth the visit and I would definitely go again but would avoid 'the invisible table' lol. One thing I also feel might be worth a mention, although it didn't bother me particularly as I was going to leave a tip anyway, the gratuity is added into the total amount when the bill is brought to you and you have to ask them to remove it if you don't want to pay it. As I said, not a problem for me but it might offend some.

As usual our meal was good, but we were very disappointed and surprised at the fact that we sat down at 12.25 pm and ordered our meals, but our main courses did not get to our table until over one hour later. Not really an acceptable delay for our meals.

Dining at Cote in Bath is always, for me, a really good experience. Monthly menu changes are interesting, special menus are good value, service and ambience really pleasing.

Great meal and great service. We were very well looked after and really enjoyed our evening. Quality of iOS and service was very good. Will come again
