Excellent breakfast and lovely serving staff. Overall a super experience. The set price breakfast is great value and teh portion size is just right for brunch.

We had a delicious lunch for four on a cold day. We were greeted warmly and ushered to a table upstairs. Our waitress was charming and helpful and the four choices of moule frites, steak frites, seafood parmentier and goats cheese salad here all beautiful prepared and delicious. We shared two desserts between the four of us. This is perhaps the 12th time we have eaten here over the past 6 years or so. Highly recommended.

Lovely food, great service, the only criticism would be that some of the food wasn't hot although still very tasty. There was a delay being offered drinks before food orders were taken but that said it was busy. We all had a lovely experience and it certainly wont put us off coming back again.

I eat regularly at this restaurant throughout the year. The food is always good and cater for those who require gluten free. I can not fault the service. However, you ask why only 4 stars. As soon as the sun comes out and you start serving outside as well as inside the service is slow, below the usual standard. Unfortunately, the star rating given reflects this visit.

The service and food was exemplary. Will definitely be booking again. My wife and i thorougbly our meal and would definitelty recommend. Five stars from us!!.

Delicious food and excellent, friendly service. I usually order the steak frites as I like the way it’s served (the steak is nice and thin) but tonight I went for the lamb rump - perfectly cooked to order, with a good variety of roast vegetables. I may have found a new favourite!

Consistently good!Cote is one of my go-to restaurants in Bath if I just want an easy evening out as it is good food, good price, good service and consistent.

We enjoyed our evening very much. We did wonder whether you were a little short staffed this evening? With the upstairs closed it was rather noisy downstairs. One of our starters was not what we’d ordered but the mistake was quickly rectified. Overall good

Hi - the food was as good as always but the main arrived before we had finished our starter - we could have sent it back but we didn't - when we looked after the main menu said it was a rapide choice - but the special of the day menu did not mention this when we ordered from it - so a bit confused - but great as always -just a bit fast -

Good location and attentive but not over powering staff. Our table for two was a little small and squashed in but most of the others looked better. But the food is great! Fairly priced, nicely cooked and well presented. Have been before and will go again.

As always Bath Cote is exceptional. The staff are wonderful and Maria is the most amazing Maitre. Food is consistent, beautifully presented, good and tastes delicious. A very nice place to visit.

A very pleasant evening although too busy to get a really personal service; the staff were a bit distracted. Nonetheless they were very professional and courteous.

Sadly it was a disaster ! We had booked and arrived on time to be shown to our table . A fairly lengthy wait and then ordered drinks and food at the same time. Polite waiter . My meal arrived after another lengthy wait and my wife's creamed spinach but no lunch for her for a further twenty minutes before we could attract the waiter's attention and he then found that the kitchen had not prepared the order. Meanwhile the spinach was cold as were my chips. I felt obliged to eat my steak luke warm while waiting for my wife's lunch so we could not eat together ! My salad consisted of three lettuce leaves. Finally my wife's chicken arrived... The restaurant did apologise and we were not charged. I chose to pay for sweet and drinks but really it was the worst experience at Cote and we have eaten in three different Cote restaurants.

Following eating at Cote Worcester, we decided to try Bath and weren't disappointed. Will definitely go there again. Only negative was the lack of zero alcohol beer.

I'm not sure what was going on in the kitchen. Quite a few items were "off". I ordered the duck starter and was given chicken liver (the waiter did apologise). My asparagus risotto had two asparagus stalks only. More risotto than asparagus. The waiter was very good.

Lovely meal for 5 of us after graduation ceremony at Assembly Rooms. I had duck which was perfectly cooked. All food served hot. Great ending to a wonderful experience.

Visit Cote regularly. Always good food and great service. Good value for money. Need to book if event on as gets very busy. Very popular venue in central Bath. Can’t add anything more.

Lovely food with good gluten free options. Early evening specials ideal for pre theatre. Food served promptly although staff not always very attentive without catching their attention.

One of the main course dishes was very small - a larger portion was requested and this came when the other guests had almost finished their mains.

Again, again and again the consistent high quality of the food, service by staff who are so pleasant and helpful. The staff selection and training regimes are to be congratulated.

More of a pub feel than restaurant. One of the sides dishes never came to our table, even after 2 reminders. . When we arrived our table was being set up in the centre of the restaurant but when the manager saw we had 3 teenagers with us we were tucked away in the corner by the loos. Would I go again, yes for a quick meal but not for a night out with friends or family there are other better restaurants in Bath.

Simple booking procedure. Can always rely on good food quality. Excellent service from friendly smiling staff. One minor critism: We entered on top floor and our reservation was confirmed on tablet screen. We were then asked to go downstairs where the whole process was reperated. Almost operates as two separate restaurants.

Cote always delivers. Great food and friendly staff. We had crab mayonnaise to start ( just a slice more bread would have been good). Then partner had Poule grille and I had haddock and lentils. We shared a Tarte au citron (just a tad more creme fraiche would have balanced it out). Overall meal was lovely. Lived up to our expectations which have never been disappointed here.

Excellent service, wonderful food. Some of our party were delayed, but the restaurant went out of their way to accommodate us. One waitress in particular was wonderful (sorry didn’t see her name). Cannot praise everything highly enough.

Service was excellent from your newly hired young french waitress. She is a credit to your restaurant. The food was of good quality although fairly average when compared to previous visits. One issue that needs to be seriously addressed is that there were no large red wine glasses, just small low quality glasses.This is not something that is expected, especially of a French restaurant in Bath. We hope that this will be corrected on our next visit.

We had a very long lunch with family catching up on many years worth of news. The food was excellent, the service was attentive but relaxed. We stayed far longer than planned but were never made to feel that we should leave. Fabulous! We will definitely be back .

I brought my Mum here for Mothers Day on a recommendation from a friend. She had said the food was really good and she was spot on. We had decided to share a starter of crab mayo, which was delicious and plenty for the both of us. Mum had the roasted pork belly for main whilst I had Pan fried duck breast. The pork belly was delicious and didn't stint on the crackling, it could have done with being on some kind of trivet in the oven though as the bottom was very tough. The duck was also delicious but the menu did make a point to note that it was served pink, it may have been pink when it was plated but as we had to wait for quite a long time for our mains to come out (2 other parties that arrived after us were well tucking into their main courses while we were still waiting for ours) I suspect it may have been left under the warming lamps for too long. I have to say though, it was still delicious if slightly tough and our server was very apologetic that we had too wait. We decided to share a dessert and chose chocolate fondant as it is something Mum had never had .... I didn't get a look in, it was very good. All in all Cote Brasserie was worth the visit and I would definitely go again but would avoid 'the invisible table' lol. One thing I also feel might be worth a mention, although it didn't bother me particularly as I was going to leave a tip anyway, the gratuity is added into the total amount when the bill is brought to you and you have to ask them to remove it if you don't want to pay it. As I said, not a problem for me but it might offend some.

As usual we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Cote Bath today.The food is always GOOD, excellent choices,well presented and sensible quantities.Cote has a pleasant atmosphere,busy but not frenetic,helpful friendly staff and quite reasonable bill when sought. Bath has many good restaurants but we always enjoy Cote and will be back.
