We just love eating there, food is superb and very good value considering the quality of the menu. What more can I say, just go and try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Restaurant was quiet as we opted for an early dinner. Staff were very attentive, the food was good and represented excellent value for money.

I eat regularly at this restaurant throughout the year. The food is always good and cater for those who require gluten free. I can not fault the service. However, you ask why only 4 stars. As soon as the sun comes out and you start serving outside as well as inside the service is slow, below the usual standard. Unfortunately, the star rating given reflects this visit.

A lovely lunch in Bath with an old friend. The butternut squash soup was delicious and plentiful. The ‘steak frites’ was tasty. The chips were a little undercooked but nothing major.

The food was lovely. The server did take a while to take our order for mains, but he was very polite. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived at 7.45, four of our preferred mains were not available. We do love this restaurant and will always visit.

I like Côte, it’s a great restaurant, however service between the peak times is poor. If you can’t provide good service between 3pm and 6pm don’t advertise and take bookings.

My Chicken Parminter had been sitting in the oven for too long and had caught on the bottom a little and had made it too hot, otherwise very nice.

Sadly it was a disaster ! We had booked and arrived on time to be shown to our table . A fairly lengthy wait and then ordered drinks and food at the same time. Polite waiter . My meal arrived after another lengthy wait and my wife's creamed spinach but no lunch for her for a further twenty minutes before we could attract the waiter's attention and he then found that the kitchen had not prepared the order. Meanwhile the spinach was cold as were my chips. I felt obliged to eat my steak luke warm while waiting for my wife's lunch so we could not eat together ! My salad consisted of three lettuce leaves. Finally my wife's chicken arrived... The restaurant did apologise and we were not charged. I chose to pay for sweet and drinks but really it was the worst experience at Cote and we have eaten in three different Cote restaurants.

I'm not sure what was going on in the kitchen. Quite a few items were "off". I ordered the duck starter and was given chicken liver (the waiter did apologise). My asparagus risotto had two asparagus stalks only. More risotto than asparagus. The waiter was very good.

Acoustics just right! Lovely food also. Will be back to visit again.

We wanted a fairly rapid early evening meal before going to a concert. We therefore only had time for one course, but the staff were all friendly and efficient. We finished with time to spare - and the food was delicious! The restaurant was fairly full, which gave it a buzzy atmosphere - I think there's nothing worse than eating in a half empty restaurant.

Lovely meal for 5 of us after graduation ceremony at Assembly Rooms. I had duck which was perfectly cooked. All food served hot. Great ending to a wonderful experience.

Very good food good choice good service will be back

Lovely venue good food, staff always smiling. A great place to celebrate any occasion or just a meal for no particular reason. Can be a bit noisy downstairs upstairs is quieter.

The food was superb. Sadly service when we arrived was not. We were shown to our table and then left waiting for over 15 minutes before the waitress came to take our food order. We were not asked if we wanted drinks. The food then arrived without a side and I had to chase for it after 5 minutes.

As usual, I enjoyed dining at the Cote. Service prompt, food tasty and cooked to perfection. The fixed price meal has a good choice and is reasonably priced. I look forward to my next visit.

We very much enjoyed sitting outside in the spring sunshine. The complimentary G and T's were great but we asked for olives as an accompaniment which were rather late in arriving. Main courses were very good and so was the service.

I had moules for starter with lovely sauce but was given no bread to mop up ? sea bass was generous and lovely. swordfish needed seasoning but the dish was bland with little taste.

Choice was great. Food was of a very good standard and servings were just right. The service was lovely but quite slow. I think you should serve a small salad with the steaks. I don’t like when you have to purchase sides to complete a meal - they should be an addition. Overall lovely evening - I’ll be back.

As usual we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Cote Bath today.The food is always GOOD, excellent choices,well presented and sensible quantities.Cote has a pleasant atmosphere,busy but not frenetic,helpful friendly staff and quite reasonable bill when sought. Bath has many good restaurants but we always enjoy Cote and will be back.

Atmosphere was really good, staff generally quick and friendly however food was pretty average and my girlfriend's steak was so stringy it was to tough to eat. Would probably try again but maybe at a smaller more intimate restaurant

On a very busy Friday lunchtime, we were impressed with the patience and professional skills of the staff. The location is good, away from the bustle of Miksom Street, and the food was excellent.
