The staff as always were attentive, friendly and efficent but two of the four main courses had to be returned, the burger was cold and pork belly was totally overcooked and dry. This was dealt with as described above. We were a group of four friends who hadn't seen one another all year and had to ask for the music to be turned down twice because it was intrusive.

Friendly, professional staff, spotlessly clean environment and excellent food and drink. A lovely experience all round!

Lovely venue just re-opened after the Covid shutdown. Felt really safe and we were looked after superbly by the Cote team. The food was great tasting and great value. We really enjoyed our visit.

It was so good to be back at Cote and to see standards were still very high. The procedures put in place due to the pandemic very well organised and made us feel safe and valued.

Lovely food and service was great. Only odd thing was our complimentary water bottle having a frozen chip/chip bits pour out of it.

Wonderful to see Cote back, really been missed, thank goodness for home delivery, kept us going during COVID ! Just one small moan, the wafers with our Couo Noir was very soggy in fact very pliable not crisp as it should be. Really enjoyed the rest of our dinner very much, excellent.

They were not up to scratch with distancing, some tables not 2 meters apart. Cutlery, condiments etc handled too much be staff, same with drinks brought to the table. Hand rails on the stairs leading to toilets were sticky and 2 people could just about pass on stairs. Someone should liaise with the Foundry in Canterbury to see how it should be done. Lovely staff and good food though. Just need to improve COVID rules.

We were delighted when he heard that Cote Brasserie would be opening again in Canterbury so immediatly booked a table for four. The food was just as delicious as ever and presented very attractively. The staff did a very good job, as ever, despite having to wear protective clothing and managed to be cheerful and attentive at all times. The food arrived promptly and we felt it was very good value for money. I particularly enjoyed my starter of Charentais Melon and jambon de Savoie. It was a bit noisy in the restaurant, possibily because there were fewer tables and, of course, people were enjoying the opportunity to socialise once again and catch up with friends. We are looking forward to having breakfast when that resumes.

A Saturday evening booked for 7pm. We arrived on time and were offered a choice of tables so we opted for the one set for three persons even though we were only two as it’s nice to have a little extra space for the wine etc. We ate three courses all of which were in our opinion delicious. The restaurant was very busy yet the food arrived at nice intervals not too quick and not too slow. Service was very polite and efficient. We had a thoroughly nice experience and will return.

We enjoyed our visit last week we thought we would come again. Once again, very friendly staff and the food again was very good. Won’t be very long before we come back. I’ve always thought the menu was very good, with plenty to choose from. Very enjoyable lunch.

The restaurant was clean and well kept, the staff were well presented and pleasant. It was my first visit to this restaurant and once our order had been placed we didn't have to wait long. The waitress came to check that everything was ok with our meals after a few minutes which I'm happy to say it was .Our meals were delicious, well presented and hot which doesn't happen everywhere. All in all I was very happy with my meal and the service and will definitely be returning.

Great service and food. Unfortunately there was a loud group on a table next to us but you can't criticise cote for that and to be fair they offered an alternative table at the outset. We just didn't realise why.... We will be going back

Great fixed price menu. This month it was difficult to choose as I liked everything on it. Good quality produce, cooked well and well presented. Great service, the waiters are attentive but not intrusive. Great value.

Very enjoyable meal with friendly staff. It’s always pleasant to go to the Canterbury restaurant and will certainly return soon. Good menu choice, not rushed to eat, very pleasant.

Food was delicious, plentiful and great value for money. All staff were polite and engaging. Environment was very comfy and appropriate. Only reason this review didn’t give top marks is that there was a long wait between being seated and ordering drinks and again when asking for the bill and receiving it. Had a very enjoyable lunch Saturday, we booked a table but arrive quite early, and were able to order just drnks until we were ready to eat. I am disabled and they moved furniture around to accommodate my scooter.

As always (I have visited Canterbury Cote Brasserie a number of times now for lunch), the food was excellent with a good choice of menu, and prompt and efficient service. I always find the staff very welcoming and friendly.

We reserved a table in celebration of a wedding ceremony today and the service was perfect! We were able to drop off a cake etc early and the staff were all fantastic!

The food at Cote is consistently good. On the last two visits in Canterbury the 12.5% service charge has automatically been put on the bill. The party was only three people. At today's visit the service was adequate but nothing particularly special. I am always keen to reward good service with a good tip but today would not have been one of them. I was therefore not that happy to have 12.5% added to the bill. Perhaps I am able to ask for this to be removed by our waitress but it could have got uncomfortable and not how I would have wanted to end the meal. Is this now the policy of all Cote restaurants to add 12.5% to all their bills?

Nice pre-theatre set menu. Restaurant was quite lively given that we ate early, around 5.30pm. Waitresses were welcoming and gave good prompt service ensuring we wete finished in good time for the play. We selected the prestige set-menu which we hadn't had befor, offering a wider choice and more intersting items (French onion soup and fish pie in our case, both very good).

Service very good and professional, food was excellent, had the steak which was delicious. Staff very friendly and polite. Definitely Looking forward to going back again.

The Breton Tomato were disappointing as only 1/4 of one heritage tomato rest standard tomatoes. as always staff saved the day with very good service. We had a bottle of Gevrey Chambertain and this adding 12.5% to the price of £53 is a bit of a joke. as they have already put at least 70% on the price. I am happy to pay 12.5% on food but always unhappy to do this on wine. It makes me not have wine in Cote Brasserie on most occasions. Having said all this we enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent. My one star for value is only down to the service charge on wine. As always we enjoyed our meal but will not go back for a while because of the unfair addition of 12.5% on wines.
