Gorgeous food as ever and amazing service - thank you again Côte!

We had a wonderful evening meal here last night. Having not been out for a 'nice meal' for a while this was exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere was great, nice ambience, and the food, drinks and service was faultless. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and special thanks to Jacob who served us, he was fab! If we come back to Chester I would definitely come back.

No hand sanitizer on entry. Our server didn’t clean our table when I accidentally dropped some ketchup on it. My husband had to ask her to clean it before we had dessert. She wiped it with a cloth but still left some of it. Wasn’t impressed, no enthusiasm whatsoever!

Extremely slow service- took our waitress 45 minutes to bring us dessert menus (we had to ask for them in the end). I have never had table service that slow- even more disappointing that the restaurant was almost empty at this point so there was no reason for this to happen.

Loved it but why why why no French onion soup ? I would eat it every week if I could

Fabulous as always. Pate to start and Steak & frites every time. Washed down with a Kir and thanks to the help out to buy scheme bargain. Staff covid ready wiping down seats, tables & S&P shakers. Very friendly team and lovely air con for a nice ambience

So glad to have you all back. The staff are friendly and attentive but without being overbearing whilst you dine. Food was very good and is exceptional for the type of restaurant and price range and the wine was also excellent and not over priced. All in all an excellent slow lunch to celebrate Cote’s return.

Lovely food and great service it’s great to see that Covid has not destroyed the service here. Love this Resturant and although came to help out with government incentive would still eat here at full price as worth every penny. Will be back for lunch next month

We have enjoyed Cote home delivery during lockdown and have looked forward to today’s visit to Cote Chester which didn’t disappoint- exceptional service and food as ever. From our first visit to Cote Sloane Square London to Cote Liverpool we are really pleased to have our local Cote here in Chester.

Good restaurant, the lady who received us and was our waitress for the night was excellent, a real asset to the restaurant. The food was good and very tasty with decent sized proportions and good value for money.

I visited the restaurant with my family after a day at the races. The food was fantastic, the staff very friendly and helpful. I really can’t fault it. Everyone from the table of 8 enjoyed it. We’ll be back when we’re back in Chester. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Yet again faultless professional service and impeccable food. The menu has something for everyone including vegetarian options and the choice and quality of drinks and wine are great. You don't even need to ask for Water as it is brought automatically to your table.

We booked an early table, and arrived upstairs with only two other small tables seated. 20 minutes later we were offered a drink, which we felt was too long when there were five people behind the bar all talking. We sat down to starters around 50 minutes after we arrived, which were very nice. The mains were beautiful, apart from one half chicken which was pink and inedible. Unfortunately, the restaurant was SO busy at this point we were unable to flag anyone down to ask for it to be changed, so it was just left. We ordered desserts which arrived 50 minutes later - at which point we had considered leaving. Sitting upstairs, the room was full by around 730pm and it was literally impossible to hear the person next to you it was SO noisy. Other eating places in Chester are noisy, but this was a whole new level!!!! The waitress who served us was just wonderful - she was so friendly, so polite and so accommodating. She also apologised for the wait, and deducted some drinks from the bill due to the excessive wait time which we appreciated. Overall, the food was very nice - pink chicken is an absolute NO for anyone, so this was disappointing. The one waitress was wonderful, however it was so busy that it was impossible to catch anyone's attention if you wanted a drink or something was wrong. Sadly, we would not return.

Very friendly and helpful staff and very highly aware of dietary restrictions. The process of choosing a meal suitable for my requirements was easy and the choice varied.
