Gorgeous food as ever and amazing service - thank you again Côte!

We had a wonderful evening meal here last night. Having not been out for a 'nice meal' for a while this was exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere was great, nice ambience, and the food, drinks and service was faultless. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and special thanks to Jacob who served us, he was fab! If we come back to Chester I would definitely come back.

No hand sanitizer on entry. Our server didn’t clean our table when I accidentally dropped some ketchup on it. My husband had to ask her to clean it before we had dessert. She wiped it with a cloth but still left some of it. Wasn’t impressed, no enthusiasm whatsoever!

Extremely slow service- took our waitress 45 minutes to bring us dessert menus (we had to ask for them in the end). I have never had table service that slow- even more disappointing that the restaurant was almost empty at this point so there was no reason for this to happen.

Loved it but why why why no French onion soup ? I would eat it every week if I could

Fabulous as always. Pate to start and Steak & frites every time. Washed down with a Kir and thanks to the help out to buy scheme bargain. Staff covid ready wiping down seats, tables & S&P shakers. Very friendly team and lovely air con for a nice ambience

Spot on. Food was gorgeous and the cleanliness and masks were all taken care of.

So glad to have you all back. The staff are friendly and attentive but without being overbearing whilst you dine. Food was very good and is exceptional for the type of restaurant and price range and the wine was also excellent and not over priced. All in all an excellent slow lunch to celebrate Cote’s return.

Lovely food and great service it’s great to see that Covid has not destroyed the service here. Love this Resturant and although came to help out with government incentive would still eat here at full price as worth every penny. Will be back for lunch next month

We have enjoyed Cote home delivery during lockdown and have looked forward to today’s visit to Cote Chester which didn’t disappoint- exceptional service and food as ever. From our first visit to Cote Sloane Square London to Cote Liverpool we are really pleased to have our local Cote here in Chester.

Excellent restaurant from all points of view, currently my favourite in Chester

there is a 12.5% service charge added to your bill which we were aware of, however this was also pointed out when our bill arrived and the server asked if we were happy with this. We had no problem with paying it as the service was excellent.The steak was cooked just as my partner requested and my pork was fabulous. The creme caramel was amazing. I think it is one of their signature dishes, definitely worth trying.

Lovely champagne breakfast great service and food nice atmosphere would go again.

The food was superb and service was excellent. One of the best restaurants in Chester. We all really enjoyed our meal. The staff were very friendly and professional. We all loved it.

Excellent service but sadly the main course was rather poor, unlikely to return which is a pity. Having brought the problem to the attention of the staff had to ask for an explanation

Came here on a Friday night, just two of us. Food was excellent and the staff very, very attentive. Unhuried authentic brasserie. That sort of thing.

Breakfast at Cote Chester always a great experience! Good consistently very good and staff always attentive and friendly. Great menu choices from coffee and a crisssnt to a full English and the best boudin noir (black pudding) we’ve ever had. Great for lunch and dinner too.

Loved our meal, great staff really friendly made my husbands biurthday very special. We will definetley try out other Cote Braseries in the future. 5 star

Côte is one of our favourite restaurants; this was our first trip to Chester’s Côte and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Ambiance relaxed and calm, food wonderful, some of the best mussels I’ve had; drinks great. It was a birthday lunch which the staff at Côte made really special. We’ll be back.

Disappointing Beef very chewy. In fairness we were not charged and offered a free dessert. However we were then charged for Rhubarb martinis which should have been free when we pointed this out it was corrected. However the food is too expensive to have these errors. This is the fifth time we have been and the first time we could fault the food or service. Will give it another chance but there are too many restaurants in Chester to choose from. We could always go back to Chez Jules

We came for mother’s day breakfast& even though the restaurant was busy the service was still exceptional, and the food tasty. The choices available are really good too

Was a fantastic meal and service, was there for my hen party and got a drink as a congratulations token which was a brillant surprise. Definatly would visit again next time in Chester.

Everything about our meal was fantastic. The duck meal from the a la carte menu was superb and the set menu was also excellent. The crane caramel was the best ever!! Thank you

I’ve dined here for breakfast and for lunch now, and both times have been lovely. The staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is so tasty, and there’s a lovely atmosphere. I would highly recommend Côte in Chester.

Great meal fab staff will go again ,so fresh the meal and the staff is so nice and friendly will go back there again ,been to Canterbury before and so nice too

Stopped the weekend in Chester so booked here for our evening meal on the Saturday. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service we had couldn't be faulted.

Excellent menu choice, staff very well presented and polite. Food we ordered was beautifully cooked and presented to a high standard. Overall a very enjoyable experience, I will definitely recommend.

Had a lovely meal and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely come again. Liked the idea of the monthly specials and chose my meals from there.

All four of us came away feeling good. There was a slight problem, but this was rectified immediately & what's more bill reduced. Staff were excellent in the way that they dealt with everything. Even the new beginner was attentive & pleasant.
