The service was very slow but the staff tried to make up for it. The food was good and a reasonable price. There was a nice atmosphere.
I go to Cote St Martin's Lane a lot and always receive good service and have good food and wine at a very reasonable price.
Very good service, reliable quality and value. Staff very pleasant, efficient and attentive. The menu has a good range of choice despite being fairly limited but this ensures fresh quality. Monthly specials are also available which extends the choice nicely.
This restaurant is ideal for pre and post theatre. The set menu is very good value for money, when dining before seven o' clock. An un-hurried experience.

Seated downstairs in basement , very Noisy therefore difficult to have a conversation also very stuffy as air conditioning not on/working. However staff very friendly.
The restaurant was very busy but were not rushed or pressed to order. Staff were all helpful and the food is reasonably price with a good range of side dishes. There is a range of vegetarian options.
Good service and good food as always. We had the set menu which was excellent and very good value for money. A great pre-theatre venue.
We had an excellent meal with friendly and efficient service at very reasonsble prices. The menu offers a wide choice including lighter dishes, meaning it's great for a pre-theatre meal and the pre-theatre set menu is truly a bargain. Will definitely come back.
Booking was easy, and at Cote you get what it says on the tin. There is a consistency of menus, quality of food and service. Just perfect for a Pre theatre meal. Could ask for nothing else.
Very tasty food, good service and excellent value. My main of chicken and couscous was delicious. Do book though as they tend to get very busy.
Good food and service good value for money. Charming people working there. BUT it was so noisy we could hardly hear ourselves sspeek across the table. Can you sound proof the roof?
Great service and the food was excellent. This is the first time we haver used the pre-theatre menu and we weren't disappointed with our three course meal, great value and delicious!
Excellent fare, charming, efficient service. Creme caramel the best this side of the moon. Geared for hungry, busy theatregoers with refined palates. I'll be back!!
Very nice staff, pleasant and not intrusive. Good table - not crammed in. My choice of starter (scallops from the specials menu) was not available, so I changed to the calamari. It was over-fried, the batter dry and not very hot. It left a lingering greasy taste. My main course, the risotto vert, had plenty of vegetable in, but was too creamy for my taste and almost stodgy. I could only eat half of it. I am a regular at a number of Cote restaurants and this is below the usual very good standard. I left disappointed.
As always, excellent food and service. The set lunch menu is very good value and there's a good choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.
I arrived early they asked me to wait outside ..it was cold..i was approached by two guys asking for money i went back inside. Food ordered they forgot the veg ..we had eaten our main by the time the veg arrived ...normally eat at the marylebone cote which is lovely...so this was all very dissapointing..the food was good ..service...disasterous and rushed i wont go back
I went to see a show which finished at 5.30 and our table was booked for 6 but Cote kindly found us a table. The food was really nice (I had the fish goujons). However I didn't like the camembert starter and neither did my sister so we told the waiter and he adjusted the bill for us. I will definitely go back there as the waiters were friendly and food was good.

Excellent helpful service and delicious food. Perfect pre-theatre meal. We will definitely return to this restaurant when we next visit London and the West End.
Cote can be relied on to produce good quality food quickly when necessary, with friendly prompt service. Cote St. Martin's Lane is noisy but convivial and enjoyed by pre-theatre and post-theatre goers. I recommend it for convenience and reliability.
Excellent! The food was very tasty, and the staff most helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a good pre theatre meal. I had the grilled Sole which was great.
Having visited numerous Cote establishments this was one of the best due to the attentive and pleasant staff. The food and drink were excellent. As a compliment to the staff the cleanliness was the best we experienced during our stay in London. We look forward to future visits to Cote.
Go0d. but service a bit slow.. maybe because it was very busy with pre theatre crowd . Food up to the usual standard. Will go again .
Went for pre theatre dinner so promptness of service important. All fine on this front and food and drink more than adequate. Cote in St Martin's Lane is top of our list for pre theatre dining in that part of London. The manager is excellent
Having booked tickets to see Carousel at the Coliseum, your restaurant was the ideal place to enjoy a pre theatre luncheon. Having visited you previously we were not disappointed. Excellent service, good food at a reasonable price
Always love Cotes de Brasserie. They never let you down. Food is always reliable and very good and the atmospher is always vibrant and jolly. Pre theatre meals are good value. Only downside is vegetarian food is very limited.
Perfect location Great atmosphere and really good menu and choice of wines. Very friendly staff and excellent service as always. We will be back again very soon.
Food was good, service very good, would have liked a little more space between tables so that we didn't feel included in our neighbours conversations!
I cannot fault the experience my friend and I had. Staff were efficient, polite and appropriately attentive. The set meal was extremely good value and the restaurant understand the need for efficiency when theatre tickets have been booked. This is the second time I have used the restaurant for this purpose and I will do so again.
Pleasant staff, good service and delicious food. What more can I say to fill 25 words. It's content not quantity that matters as they say less is more!
A very tasty pre-theatre lunch, which was served promptly. The only drawback was the ambient noise as it was very busy and the tables are quite close. However that was inevitable given the number of people having lunch.
Service was friendly, efficient and prompt. The food tasted good and was well presented. The restaurant was very popular so you need to book at busy times.
Good food, reasonably priced. Menu choices are interesting without being overly fancy or pretentious. Waiting staff were attentive and personable but not overbearing or intrusive.
Great food, good value, but - high 12.5% gratuity automatically added to the bill. Rushed service towards the end of the booking, but good and welcoming when the restaurant was less busy.
Excellent service and food, a great find in central London especially with all the theatres and galleries around this area, handy for the tube too!
Truly quality food at reasonable prices for the West End, lovely scallops and steak tartare starters and sea bass and haddock for mains, plus a apple tart with 2 spoons to finish. Very friendly and efficient service. Thank you
Thank goodness we booked! An excellent pre theatre meal . Fantastic staff - amazingly busy but so attentive. You made our evening, thank you !
Good food, excellent service. I am a regular customer at Cote and always have a pleasant time. Very good reliable, value for money restaurant. Recommend.
Reliable Cote menu; efficient and friendly staff despite the very very busy pre-theatre crowd. Had been given downstairs table but this was changed at our request
great mushroom crepe but creme brulee although tasting delicious had a cold burnt top. They took it away and brought me a different one and the brulee was hot but so was the underneath which just tasted of warm custard.

Great value. Great service. We enjoyed our lunch and the wine was good too. We had two courses specked and timed very well indeed. Thanks
We went to Cotes St Martins lane prior to going to the theatre it was fantastic service .... delightful food at a reasonable price for London
As alway, the staff are polite, friendly and super efficient! Food was delicious, steak cooked to our liking and the desert ...creme broulee was seriously yummy! Thank you for keeping our table when we were runnng late.
Excellent restaurant, food great. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely atmosphere when you visit after a show and no hurry for you to finish your meal.
Staff and restaurant were up to the regular high standard I have come to expect from Cote. We were there for nigh on three hours and everyone was kind and attentive. Food delious, especially the asparagus with the tarragon vinaigrette..be sure to book as there is aleways a rush on at the lunchtime period, but better after about 2.30.
It was perfect as usual, super meal, wine and fresh bread and butter but I am very surprised that mussels are taken out from menu
Lovely atmosphere and food great. Will go again. All complaints were dealt with and put right immediately by the manager i assume who was a great young lady.
Very good pre-theatre menu choices. The meal was just right, well cooked and the service was friendly, efficient and not too intrusive. A very popular venue.
Decent food at reasonable prices but the portions seem to be getting smaller and the service is very slow because the restaurant crams so many people in.
Food excellent. We came at pre theatre time and had some delays for which our waitress apologised. Hectic but the staff worked very hard to get everyone through. Will return but plan better.
Good food at great prices & great staff & atmosphere Good location & set menu is one of the best around for value & quality
