Food was very tasty, good portion sizes. Great location. Restaurant itself could do with a deep clean in places as it is surprisingly very dusty in places.

Extensive choice on 3 menus including a la Carte and 2 or 3 course options. Service was prompt, attentive and friendly. Food served at a good pace. Unbeatable value.

They misplaced my reservation, the glasses were dirty, and they seated us in a dark room underground by the toilets. We had to ask to order and for drinks as they forgot about us, then they forgot to bring both the starter and the main for one of our party. They were incompetent and added a tip to the bill which we obviously did not pay.

Fab food and service enjoyable surroundings and attentive waiters . First time in core will definitely be returning . Had the chicken Sauce was divine .

Not impressed. Fruit salad was served st same time as scrambled egg so had to have as a ‘dessert’. Fruit was on the turn, very acidic especially melon

The restaurant is amazing. The food even better. The wine selection is really good and the staff was very professional and kind. The price is really fair compared to the overqualified food and wine! This is my second time and I will be back at the Leicester Côte Brasserie. Thank you!

Normally,I am wowed when I eat at Côte but on this occasion it was very average.Waiter got the order wrong and then our mains arrived without the sides which took a further 12 minutes to arrive. When the bill was eventually presented I found i had been charged for what should have been complimentary French 75 ‘s .This was eventually corrected. The restaurant lacked direction although the staff were friendly ,just not very customer oriented!

We enjoyed our visit to Cote in Tavistock Street. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and we had a very nice pre-theatre meal. We would definitely visit again.

Great food, quick service, nice atmosphere. We booked but were late, had a nice table by the window. Good choice of food. We did have to ask for our deserts to hurry up as we were going to the theatre and they then arrived promptly , very friendly staff.

We have had a lovely meal with friends. There were 9 of us and we all had a category if started, mains and desserts. All scrumptious. Service from all the staff was friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend. .

We were expected and a prepared table was waiting for us. We decided on two courses and were very happy with not only the quality of the food and its presentation but the service provided which was welcoming friendly and professional. This was an excellent experience with friends after a very enjoyable matinee at the theatre. Jim.

We visited this restaurant for the first time three days ago, it was suggested by a family member who informed us that the chain constantly provided excellent food. As we were going to the theatre tonight, we decided to return. The ribeye steak I had on the first visit, was excellent, one of the best I’ve had in years. Today I had the fish stew, the ingredients were fresh and it tasted excellent. I must also mention the french onion soup, which was good, though slightly too sweet for me, although my wife thought it was perfect. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

Love this branch of Ccte. Great food /service and friendly staff. Prompt service too and very handy for the theatre. You will need to book as it gets very busy

Another smashing evening at Cote B! Lovely atmosphere, the service, by Charlotte, was outstanding. She was charming and efficient. The food overall was good, although, if I’m going to be honest, the pork belly was dry (can’t be perfect all the time)

The wooden rail downstairs to the toilets needs replacing. Splinter in hand. Brilliant quick and friendly service ideal for pre- theatre. Cote’s french onion soup always good.

One of our party had an over cooked steak. The staff were fabulous and just took it away and changed it. Atmosphere was nice and we had a lovely pre theatre dinner. Only grumble would be the state of one of the ladies toilets.... someone must have complained as it was locked on my next visit with my daughter however this resulted in having to queue.

First time at Cote Brasserie and we were really impressed with the service, ambience and standard and choice of food. Will definitely be going to another one of your restaurants in a different location nearer to home.

We had a wonderful evening at Cote Covent Garden celebrating our wedding anniversary. The staff were superb and the food excellent. There are lots of restaurants around, but this stands out because of the service you receive. Thank you to all the hard working staff

We had a lovely meal at Cote , Covent Garden . I love the atmosphere at Cote restaurants. Food was delicious and our waiter was super attentive. Very happy memories of our evening here.

So great to visit a proper Côte after my terrible experience at the Marlow branch a couple of weeks ago. Hats off to all the staff - front and back of house. Thats how you do it! Suggest you bus the Marlow staff to Tavistock Street to show them how it should be done.

They do pre theatre menus. So perfect for an early dinner. The service is great and the food is too. Great for the price will definitely return

Food enjoyed,grateful for complimentary cocktail. Thought staff were very impersonal even though restaurant visited many times. Don,t appear to have regular staff. Will return as food was enjoyed.

Had a very heart meal. Enjoyed my very delicious half chicken. Nearly no room for dessert. Yum. Excellent location for the opera House. In time for early curtain at 7.

Restaurant was so noisy and over seated and cramped. It’s the worst Côte I’ve been to. The food was lacklustre, my beetroot and mackerel slad looked a mess and was missing the horseradish creme fraiche. It was a really sad salad. I ordered the steak for main which was so riddled with fat I had to return it. The promptly replaced it with the sea bass which was fine. I did receive a glass of wine off my bill as a gesture for the steak which I did appreciate. Overall a very depressing visit which is a shame as I’m a big fan of Côte. They need to remove the amount of diners they’re trying to squeeze in and make space for plants and soft furnishings to absorb the sound in the place. My companion and I had to really raise our voices to talk to each other. Shame.

Delicious food with excellent service. My wife required Gluten Free food which was no problem what so ever.

In London for two days to celebrate my birthday. Went to Cote Brasserie Covent Garden on 14 Feb pre theatre and had a brilliant meal. Complementary blood orange martinis because we booked in advance and ordered from the a la carte menu. My hubby had cod goujons and two bottles of Meteor beer. I had Duck breast with dauphinois potatoes and carrots with a glass of red house wine. We shared Coupe noir ( vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate sauce) - which was amazing. Very good service- thank you

Very good service and excellent food. We had a booking at 10 PM, after a show, and it was perfect with the small dishes, we got our food quickly and simultaneously (party of 8).

Usual pleasant ambiance. Food very good as always and staff attentive. Very nice to have a glass of Kir. Look forward to the next meal! J
